At first I thought this place was going to be bad because someone wrote a review about the food saying that it was bad, so I checked it out myself and I found out that the review he wrote was wrong because I ate the chicken nuggets and the chicken wings and it was so delicious and I just wanted to get more and more of it. But at first I thought the food wait was very long but then I found out that it was because the chef there makes them fresh from scratch, It also had very friendly workers and it had no smoke! That when I said to myself «finally I found a place where there is no smoking inside the shop/​restaurant.

First of all, the pool table is small. Secondly the food is not that great; it’s also pretty pricey. I had the nuggets, wings and pasta. The nuggets and wings are heavily battered and the pasta is just bleh. Not only that, the preparation for the food was very long, I was really hungry! I probably would not come want to come back here unless there’s some good reason to come to this place. I give it a two star because the lady kinda have to do all the work.

BG Billard & Grill is a great place to hangout and relax with friends and family. The whole place is really clean, and the the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, the store owners are extremely nice! One of them took the time to give us some few tricks and tips on how to clean up posture and hit the pool ball straight. The food is also good. I ordered the Jasmine Tea and strawberry smoothie, which were delicious and well worth the price. They also have ramen, which I requested (not on the menu), and when it took more then 10 minutes to make, I knew it was gonna be good. The instant noodles were amazing-​the spicy flavor was en pointe– they had included too egg and meat in the soup, which was more than I asked for. I definitely recommend this place.

Pretty good place for pool and bites. The place is relatively new so the tables are really nice.
We went on a Tuesday and the price was 7 an hour.
There are 8 pool tables and 3 snooker tables. The owners/​staff were really friendly and they talked us about our feedback on the food and how they were planning on making the place even better.
Best part is you don’t smell like cigarette smoke when you leave unlike MJs.
The only reason this place isn’t getting 5 stars for me is the cue sticks are not that great.
I look forward to coming back in the future!

The best thing about this place is that you don’t leave smelling like cigarette smoke (unlike some other nearby pool place).
Nice selection of food items. Some beer. Lots of non alcoholic drinks.
There are 8 pool tables and 3 snooker tables.
Korean music playing throughout.
I came with a small group of guys on a Tuesday night. We stayed for about 3 hours. We were by ourselves for most of the time and the owners were so nice to us.
Definitely our new place for pool.

Quite the chill spot. Comfortable environment. The owners were so welcoming they convinced us to get the lamb meatball skewers. Unfortunately, they were over seasoned, but I wasn’t here for the food. The tables were great and it was a well lit space. A nice mix of talent came in too.

This place is amazing. We chose to come here because of the reviews that they don’t allow smoking. I went last night with my wife and had a flaming good time literally. It’s a nice midsize place and relaxing as if you are in a garage hanging out with our friends at home. Owner’s name is Bryan and he is an amazing cook. Flaming shots, pool, beer, and great food. For being open only a few months they are doing things right. I will be a returning patron.

Great pool hall. The table are immaculate and there are 11! The staff is super friendly and the foods smells amazing (haven’t had any yet). Definitely going to come back when I’m in Houston next.

I finally found a good poolhall in Houston that’s smoke free inside and close to where I live. Nice 8 ft Olhausen tables with new cloth on them and 2 snooker tables too. Couches and tables to sit. Nice and air conditioned inside. I had a nice conversation with Brian who works there. Definitely coming back.

Would like to give 4.5. This place have brand new good pool tables and awesome people working here. We played a few rounds of pool, had a few beers and ordered Fried rice and Chicken. It did take a long time to get the dinner but wow! The Vietnamese cuisine is unusual for a pool hall but for those who like Asian food you will love this.
Two downsides to this great place, long wait for food and almost no people here. Probably related problems. Hope more people find this place, it’s worth going to!

Second time around the place, still think it’s the Great pool tables for both guys and girls;)
I have noticed some updates things that I want to share: amazing variety of music for sure, i would say it’s very up to date; they got menue ready to check off your dishes and drinks, which I thought it’s very friendly and different from other poolHauls;
staff members are very genuine, he offered some trick which I find very fun, kind and educational.
most importantly they have TOURNAMENT going on and you could also apply APA (American pool players association)…no offense, but for once, the place makes me feel like the pool is a real sport! Great legit place to play some quality sport

I was playing around the area and stumbled across this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try since the great reviews. Yes the place was super clean with a nice open layout with bright colored décor. Only has been open for 2 months so the tables and cues are in great condition and they offer a few competition tables. EXTREMELY bare beer selection though: (and interesting food menu for a pool hall but given the area, I guess its suitable. We got lucky and came during Happy Hour so the pool was half price, ended up being $ 3.50/ hr. We only ended up staying for 3 games and 1 beer since it was a little weird being the only people in the place. I will say they were playing some pretty great music! I can see this place getting busy at night given it’s location and that it is prolly one of the few, if not the only, pool hall in Chinatown.

First time here. The facility is clean, staff is nice and the food is really good! We ordered the crispy vietnamese rice and chicken skewers.
Don’t hit the ball too hard though, the tables are so new that it will go flying
