Walked in to get my watch battery replaced. He replaced it right away(wasn’t expecting that) and even reset the date and time! Best part it was only $ 10. Typically $ 20 at other places!

Brought my wedding/engagement ring here for repair after a prong broke and the stone fell out(thank goodness I found it). When I dropped it off, I was told it would only take a day and be $ 35. I wasn’t able to get it the next day, so came the day after that… and here is the only complaint… no one was in the store and there was a sign on the door saying they’ll be back at 3:30pm. Since it was 4:15pm and no one answered the phone inside, I was unable to pick my ring up that day. However, the next time I stopped by, ring was ready and very sparkly(I love it when it sparkles). Price was as quoted at drop off. Tip: The store is located next to the HEB on 249, so parking can be difficult during peak shopping hours.

I brought a ring in that was pretty much folded in half and they were able to fix it within an hour, good as new. Thank you so much!

I had several necklaces that needed repair, one was a handmade piece on silk string, another was a favorite necklace with multi layers of beads from Anthropologie. Dee fixed the handmade piece while I was there, and then we discussed options for the other necklace. It wouldn’t have made sense to restring the Anthropologie one since it’s basically a piece of costume jewelry. She figured out a way to use a tiny bead to reattach the broken part, and it’s held up great. I’d never been in the shop before, but they have jewelry, watches, and watch batteries. I’m happy with the service and thought Deyanira was very pleasant.

I brought a wide vintage bracelet to have a fold over clasp put on it. I did ask if they did jewelry repair and I was told Yes. I talked at length to a woman there, the bracelet had a broken flat fold over clasp on it, so the shop could see what was on the bracelet already and also what I wanted. She said I would have it by Friday. I went a couple of days AFTER Friday and my bracelet wasn’t ready. No biggie, I wasn’t in a hurry for it. So I go back to pick up the bracelet, instead of a wide flat clasp, they put on a small lobster clasp that is impossible for me to fasten by myself. Plus it’s a wide bracelet, and there’s not supposed to be a huge gap for the lobster claw, the bracelet looks ridiculous, it’s supposed to be uniform all the way around my wrist and it now digs into my arm because the lobster claw allow the bracelet to move around, whereas a flat clasp keeps the bracelet in place on my wrist, and I can fasten it by myself. The guy that was there said he couldn’t find one, so he put this one on. He could have gone to eBay and bought one. Or called me to tell me he couldn’t do it, or called me to tell me it would be a little longer and that he had to order a flat clasp. A flat fold over clasp is not impossible to find. Most wider bracelets have them nowadays, unless it’s a stretch bracelet. I would have preferred that he should have called me. That would have been better than putting a tiny lobster clasp on it, and charging me for it. I can’t wear the bracelet now, because of the digging in and moving around on my wrist. Plus it’s impossible, or nearly so, to fasten it myself. So, my experience was very disappointing. The clerks there should have been up front with me in the first place. More reviews on
