They came out and fixed my dryer. I was pleased with the service. I have a washer issue, called… never got a return call although they say same day service. I then called back. We made an appointment, I was asked to text my address. I messed up and did not get the whole address to them… but instead of texting back or calling… I sat here and waited. When I complained about their lack of customer service or follow-​through they were not interested in doing the job… they refused service. I realize people have a right to provide service to who ever they want… but my issue was why not text me back and ask me to complete the message? Why set a time… then ignore that? They could care less about the customers.

Let me begin with I was referred to Appliance Service and Repair by a dispatch service from Katy Appliance and Repair. I strongly recommend you seek your repair services elsewhere, my washer was having trouble agitating and spinning. In an effort to be cost efficient I sought out a local repair service, this turned out to be my doom that eventually cost me $ 300 for disconnected connector on the agitator motor which I eventually corrected myself after the initial repair that this company stated was a control board and blown capacitor. I am an electrical engineer as a profession for a major company designing very intricate systems so as Mr. Solomon stated the diagnosis I was weary of the needed repair I did not want to service my own washer I let him proceed. Not having the parts on him readily I had to wait two more days till the so called parts were received. In reality those parts were not needed and charged me for the parts and labor only to have it to stop working. Frustrated with the service i troubleshot the washer myself to find a simple connector that came loose. I feel they knew this was the issue and maliciously charged me for a part they didn’t replace or need. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use either of the listed companies… Not worth your time or money. Worst service/​people ever.

I have no idea why this group only received one star as the two gentlemen who came to fix our dryer arrived on time, were professional, diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than an hour; and all this for a reasonable price. I am only slightly confused as I’d phoned Appliance Repair Katy, but ended up with a bill showing the company name as Appliance Service & Repair and a Houston address. (I am assuming I phoned some type of switchboard and repair companies call in for jobs kind of like tow truck companies?) I am not sure. Either way, Salomon and K. Hernandez did a great job.

Do not use this service. They charged me $ 350 to fix my ice maker and it has not made a cube since. I called and talked to them at least 5 times when he promised to send someone out and never did. They now do not answer the number they have on their invoice. I suspect they have several numbers and know which one not to answer.
For some reason, there is a similar review on Google search results but the review is not here on Unilocal.Something fishy is going on. Somehow, the company got the review removed but it is still in Google’s cached version.
BTW — they go by the name Appliance Service & Repair on their invoice with numbers 713−384−2836 and 832−235−3126 but you can’t find them on the web under that. I think I know what their internet presence is named but don’t want to post it until I contact them.

This business (also using the name Appliace Service & Repair) failed to complete a repair job and honor their warranty for work. Once I began attempting to contact them I discovered they are NOT a BBB Accredited Business like they say they are. They have refused to accept my phone calls and have refused to return my calls. They have multiple phone numbers, but they all seem to be the same entity. DO NOT TRUST THEM! They cashed my check and never completed the work. They also use the phone numbers of OR 832−235−3126 OR 713−384−2836.
