Akoya Spa

I’m still pretty new to Houston but discovered Akoya after reading great reviews on Unilocal.My first visit was great and I had the pleasure of meeting Michaela who is super sweet and very warm. She gave me a consultation and we decided on the treatment for me. I had my first hydra facial which was great. It’s an elaborate version of a micro but with a hydrating feature where different products are infused into your skin during the process. Michaela talked me through it and made me feel completely relaxed and comforted in her treatment room. I’ve seen been back for two more hydra facials with Michaela and also had a massage from Madeline which was outstanding! I’ll obviously be going regularly for both.

My husband gave me a gift card from here for a facial with a hydrating hands treatment that was included. First off, let me say I didn’t even know this place was here and I have shopped and lived down the street for years. When I walked in, it just felt like a zen place with the water dripping in the background and the peaceful music playing. They had it fixed very cute all around inside. I first got a complimentary foot bath that was nice and a great way to start things off. A few mins later, Michaela pulled me back for my facial. Everyone there, including Michaela greeted me with a warm smile and were all extremely friendly which was so pleasant and made me feel instantly relaxed. The facial was hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. I really felt rejuvenated afterwards. You can tell Michaela knows what she is doing. I will definitely be back. I am now also very interested in other services. I loved how I didn’t get bombarded with buying their products at the end or pressured to sign up for memberships like I have at other places. This place really is a hidden gem and I am so happy my hubby gave me that gift card to try this place out. I’ll be back!

I have only been here for the acupuncture. It’s pricey but worth it. They are professional and the facility is very clean.

The most wonderful facials AND massages. Such a beautiful and relaxing space. I get the Akoya signature PLUS facial that leaves my skin glowing and radiant. My friends family and I have been coming here for years and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I called earlier in the week for a facial for a Saturday and they were able to fit me in (always awesome!) The spa is relaxing — definitely come early to take advantage of the complimentary foot bath — and clean. Michaela gave me the MOST RELAXING facial I have ever had in my life (even with the extractions)!
My favorite part was that she did not spend the facial trying to sell me products like so many other places have done. She was honest about my skin, and gave me recommendations for things I could do at home to keep my skin clear. I will be back at Akoya as a regular customer!

I love going to Akoya Spa! I try to go at least once every couple of months for their signature massage and microderm abrasion facial. It is so peaceful and relaxing there, and the staff are just wonderful! I highly recommend them!

Everyone is incredibly friendly plus the entire spa is so relaxing. I love coming in to take a break from the chaos of the real world.
I’m always in here for facials and they are wonderful. If you come early, you can enjoy a foot bath/​massage which is a plus!
There are also massages here, waxing, and wraps. For your all around spa, it’s great.

The service and treatment I received was amazing compared to other places I’ve gone to for a facial. They really know what they’re doing and were super polite and friendly.

I have been coming to this spa for over two years. I have also sent all of my firends and my own two daughters here. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, ALWAYS friendly, and a beautiful facility with top of the line products. Not only will you leave there more peaceful, but your skin will be transformed! A Family run– small business that makes you feel at home. A must try for yourself or you could treat a friend to a gift card. Go!

This is the best spa experience I have ever had! they provide excellent service and most importantly, they are someone you can trust. they keep up with the latest technology in order to provide superior service! Make sure you go early for a special foot bath or try out their zero-​gravity chair!

I LOVE this place! It is small and they treat you like you are the ONLY client they have! It’s clean, beautiful, and smells great! The prices are good and once you become a client, they send out specials via email! I’ve been going there for years and it’s always great service!
