Aim Thai Restaurant

I was super excited to see this restaurant open near my neighborhood. Going to school in the loop, I miss the restaurant options available to me during the school year. Aim Thai has quick friendly service, is much cheaper compared to Inner Loop Thai restaurants but just as delicious. Understandably, the menu is smaller than most Thai restaurants. I was hoping to order a beef sald (yum nuer) and it wasn’t offered. Of the appetizers, I highly recommend the wings and the fish cakes. The fish cakes are made fresh!

Very fresh ingredients and consistent with the food. We have had:
Egg rolls — best in Houston!
Spring rolls– pretty good! They use sweet and sour sauce as opposed to peanut sauce but I was still impressed with the flavors
Pad Thai — hubby always gets this and he really enjoys it
Green curry — I enjoyed this but wasn’t a fan of the eggplant. I ordered it with chicken. Next time I would like to try red curry.
Pad Mao — I think that’s what I ordered. It’s the chicken basil with veggies such as green onions, white onions, carrots, and bean sprouts. Seems healthy and tasty! Best of both worlds :)
Thai tea — best we have had in Houston as well.
It’s still relatively new so go try it out before it gets slammed!

I came here since my old Thai place changed owners. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and since you have to spend $ 10 to use a card, I got egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious! The lady explained they are made fresh and I could tell. My pad Thai was also good. Could use a little more spice, but I’m sure if I would’ve said something it would’ve been. I will definitely be back.

I really hope this place can make it. It’s not exactly in an area know for it’s Thai food. It happens to be just around the corner from our house and will likely be a go-​to spot from now on. The curries are amazing and the pad see eaw (sp.) and the pad thai are delicious! Oh, and the soups looked great; although, I did not have any. The prices are downright low for the quality product this mom & pop shop is serving!

My God it’s delicious!!! I had the Pad See Euw (beef) AMAZING!!! the egg rolls are crisp and taste soooooo good! not a big fan of these shrimp rolls. (but thats just me) ID RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! It’s a MUST TRY!!!

Very nice, friendly, prompt service.
And did I mention the Pad Thai? We had Tofu and chicken. The tofu was fried to perfection: crispy in the outside and soft in the inside. Flavor was perfect.
The owner told me that the whole staff is Thai and that they serve authentic Thai food.

I got Pad Thai, Red curry, Orange chicken, fish cake, egg rolls last time. Food tastes delicious. Restaurant is clean. Friendly owner!

A hidden jem! I love coming here to eat. It’s very clean and family owned and ran. They’re very nice and answer any questions you have about the food. The food is excellent, you can not go wrong with anything. It’s all great!

My new favorite thai place of all time! Only 3 months into opening but i highly recommend it.
We had the beef larb, beef pad see ew, papaya salad, and shrimp pad thai. Everything was so delicious and perfectly seasoned. We asked for the papa salad and larb to be «thai spiced spicy.» Boy best believe it came out super spicy but oh so good! Beef for the larb is sliced which i like compared to the usual ground beef we usually get elsewhere. Came with tripe and a nice lemongrass flavor.
Pad see ew had a nice sweet flavor and savory beef slices with American broccoli and sliced Chinese broccoli with eggs mixed in. Soo good if you’re into sweet and savory dishes.
Pad thai was the first dish that came out and first to be devoured. My 4 yr old loved it. Came out with bean sprouts and giant shrimps and basically stir fried phở noodles.
Will definitely be coming back here and bringing the family and friends to try the rest of the food.

We got pad Thai and some sort of fried rice dish and both were okay. Nothing to write home about. The server working the cash register was flustered by simple questions we asked. Food wasn’t great more was it terrible… Maybe I need to try something else on the menu.

I have been looking for Thai restaurant for awhile and this is it. If you are looking for actual good Thai foods, I would recommend this place. I order their fried chicken (the best Thai fried chicken ever), pad Thai (delicous!), papaya salad (amazing!), sticky rice (really good!), and amazing Thai tea. I have gone to Thailand for 7 or 8 times. And this is the Thai food restaurant! I can’t wait to bring my family here.

This place was awesome! Great price, great quality and real authentic taste! I’m glad I found this place and it’s a gem! I will definitely go back! The location might not be too appealing, but the service and the food that I ordered to go was probably the best Thai food that I’ve had in a while! I had the green curry, pad see ew, combination fried rice, tom yum soup (shrimp). All this for under $ 35!

Love this place, great food freshness at it finest like everything on her menu when order, came back 4 time to see if food would be the same as the first time i try it, yep same quality, freshness and flavor on Point .just my take test it out and tell me what ya think …

Everything we had was authentic and delicious! Can’t wait to go back! The owner is super sweet and very accommodating!
