I cannot recommend strongly enough that you do NOT use Access Eye Care. While Dr. Quintero seems like he’s pretty good at what he does, the office staff couldn’t be more rude or inept if they were intentionally trying. I have been going to eye doctors in several states for the past 15 years since I had an eye injury and needed to start wearing a contact lens in one eye. The process of getting a contact lens was infinitely more painful at Access Eye Care than any other optometrist I’ve visited. As a rule, the office staff is not proactive in doing anything. To get a contact lens ordered/delivered would require me to constantly call and check up on them. I ordered a contact lens through them twice. The first time it took 4 months to come in and the second time 10 months(from experience, I know that this process ordinarily takes 6 – 8 weeks). Throughout the whole process, they would assure me that they were going to correct the problem immediately. They never did, though. As another example, I recently moved out of state and asked for my records to be faxed to my new optometrist. It took over two weeks and about a dozen phone calls to get my records sent to my new optometrist. Each time I called, I was told that they would take care of it right away. If you’re just going in for an annual exam and don’t wear contacts or glasses, they may be OK. Otherwise, I would avoid them at all costs.

This place is absolutely terrible. They have me an incorrect prescription for contacts, and it wasn’t until I started getting headaches and eye infections and went to another eye doctor as an emergency that we figured out the problem. They gave me an Rx that was too strong and didn’t correct for my astigmatism(the other doctor knew within 30 seconds). Then when I went back to see about changing out the contacts(it’d only been 6 months) and they refuse to exchange the contacts for new ones or give me credit back because they said it wasn’t their fault my eyes got better. Oh, ok, I’m 30 years old. I’m sure my eye sight IMPROVED. They also wouldn’t give me a copy of my husband’s Rx because they said it was past a year old, even though his glasses had broke and he just needed a cheap pair to hold him over. I’ve had NOTHING but problems with this place – rude, incompetent staff, an old doctor who probably can’t see himself, and poor service. Stay far, FAR away.

This place is terrible. It takes ATLEAST6 weeks for your contacts to come in. And when they do, sometimes only half the order comes in, which is super inconvenient… Plus, one of the front desk employees is incredibly rude, constantly responding in an incredibly condescending tone. I would NEVER recommend this place.
