Nice folks and definitely and old school business. But having a very hard time getting them to return phone calls or have them come back out to my house for follow up repairs.

I’ve bought several appliances from this company and they have never let me down. Buying a used appliance can be tricky and this company will run right out and fix any problems. They offer a ONEYEAR warranty and that’s pretty crazy good. I bought a dryer that quit working around 10 months after purchase and they fixed it, no questions asked. They even picked it up and brought it back. Yes, do your research about new appliance prices but don’t hesitate to give these guys a chance.

Was hesitant after reading other review but the owner was friendly and professional. Purchased fridge in March. Fridge stopped cooling in December. Called A1& the owner just asked when I bought it, did not require me to come in & show proof. He sent a tech out that day & repaired it, honoring the warranty. A store that sells budget/used appliances(where you should not expect much) and they actually honor their warranty. I guess I am cynical but I was expecting double talk/delays & instead got great service.

To avoid being taken by used-appliance dealers who buy cheap and sell high without adding value, shop where they shop. One such source is the Salvation Army Auction on Sawyer, just north of Washington. There’s an auction every day except Sunday at 10 a.m. The first items sold are the major applicances. Most bidders appear to be used-appliances dealers. The auction is open to the public. Selection of merchandise, in general, is hit or miss. Sometimes there’s a lot of great merchandise and few bidders, sometimes it’s the opposite. Among the other items they sell are upholstered furniture, wooden furniture, rugs and exercise equipment.

Please, JUSTSAY«NO» to used appliances!!! Ok, so I purchased a used or «refurbished» stove/oven from this place last week. They did indeed deliver it the next day for a fee as promised. I would have been ok with the over priced piece of junk had it actually worked… So the oven knob had no numbers on it, but that didn’t matter since the oven didn’t work, as well as the left side of the burners… Wow so for $ 230 a got a almond colored 1975 magic chef oven with only 2 working burners and a broken oven. To add insult to injury I later realized that HomeDepot is selling a brand new Amana stove/oven for $ 20 more with free delivery… F*&! me!!! Really??? So clearly i am an idiot for buying your crappy oven hastily because I needed one so I can cook for my 3 kids… However, I could have sucked it up if the damn thing had even worked… So they are sending out a repair man in a few days to service it… Umm… Gee, how nice and I get to buy breakfast, lunch and dinner for my family of 4, fun times… I am hoping they have the decency to replace it with a working appliance, if not I will find a way to rate them with«zero» stars lol…
