Amazing food. Tried the ultimate for one, definitely feeds 2. Great taste, great price. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Small sitting area but during slower times its very quiet. Highly recommended.

Sad day at Stubby’s. Pot of beans merely canned beans with a light dust of barbecue meat on top. What were they thinking? Sliced brisket good. Pork sandwich lacked smoke flavor.

This place has a very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The dining area was very casual and clean. It was a bit pricey but the serving sizes for dinner were huge. They also just pulled a peach cobbler out of the oven as I was leaving, I had some to go and it was delicious! My only complaint was that the menu was kinda small and the meat could use just a bit more seasoning. It was a very pleasant meal though, I would definitely recommend to friends.

Lame food. Horrible service! The guys who work there are very rude. They make faces when I asked to have my soda refilled, for the FIRTS time. This place is a joke

If you are looking for a quick bite and are craving bbq then this is the place but don’t expect napkins at your table. They have only one roll of paper towels at the register. FYI they don’t have coke but the tea is good.

Wow! Stubby’s is the kind of bbq I grew up with and have missed since moving to Texas. The jumbo pork sandwich was very generous and good, their spuds are huge, and their ribs were delicious! You have to try their Pot-o-beans too. These are made with bbq sauce and have glazed ham chunks added. Mmmm good!

The ribs were tender, just under seasoned. The BBQ sauce was good. The service was fast and staff was friendly. Cute atmosphere. We found the lunch portions to be on the smaller side.

Best BBQ ribs we have ever had! Went there twice in a week while we were there last week! Friendly staff and clean! Will definitely go back there when we are in the Hot Springs area.

Very, Very good BBQ. Local place, in business since the early 1950’s. You get a very large amount for your money and the employees were very friendly. Dining room was very clean and modern. I will be back again next time I am in town.

Rustic environment and big quantities of food. We came here with a group of 11 and quickly seated and found the service to be friendly and efficient. We were surprised at the serving size! We had the ultimate feast or sampler or something like that for 1 and shared it — it was MORE than enough for 2. There were several pieces of ribs, shredded pork, one half chicken, and more! It was simple and friendly, a good combination and a good value.

Best BBQ in Hot Springs hands down. It is vinegar and molasses based Memphis style. I can’t stand inconsistent bbq and stubbys never disappoints.

Stopped in for lunch and had the beef plate with two sides. Beef was great and loved the beans. Not a fan of the potato salad. Nice atmosphere and good customer service!

Home-cooked, generous portions, Southern hospitality. As a Texan who learned to eat BBQ before I could walk, this place nailed it. In Dallas I order half a chicken at any of our local BBQ haunts and wind up with a scrawny portion size that leaves me wanting more. Thankful my hotel has a fridge– definitely walked out with a doggie bag here for half the price. Welcoming staff and typical small BBQ restaurant vibe. Adding this to my list of «return again» spots if I ever pass this way again.

I had the pulled pork sandwich it was awesome the meat was moist and the sauce had awesome flavor. Perhaps a little too much sauce was my only complaint. The SMOKED potato was also awesome it has salt, pepper, sour cream, and butter. The beans and cole slaw were average, but to be honest everything else was so good I can let that slide. And the best thing… The peach cobbler. Best peach cobbler I have ever had. I haven’t exactly heard that Arkansas is known for its barbecue but I had this place while at a family reunion and it was great. HIGHLY recommended.

We liked everyone at Stubby’s – very customer-oriented staff. The sliced BBQ beef, which is what we shared, was tasty. The beans were unique; served in a small white crock topped with sauce. Blackened ends made up the meaty part. Overall, pretty good – we’ll have to eat here again to make sure, since we just shared a meal. Drawback: Only one sauce, and neither of us was a big fan.

Food wasn’t bad but not worth the wait. The slicer made a comment that he hadn’t seen the end of the line in a long time because they were busy. No, you haven’t seen the end of the line because you and your cashier are the slowest people in bbq history. You wouldn’t last in a high volume setting. We didn’t ask for some items because we didn’t want to wait. Take a look at your operation if you want to improve it. The food was ok, standard bbq. If you are a small bbq place find something to impress your customers with and do it every time. If someone asked me why I should go back there, I could not think of anything to justify another visit. I can go a mile and find another bbq place with equally good smoked meat.

5 Harley’s in the parking lot, Yup I am eating there. Ordered ham & ribs combo plate with beans & slaw. Ham was very, very good, ribs were pretty good, slaw & beans were ok. They ask if you want them to sauce or if you want to sauce yourself. I hate when BB-Q’s smoother my meat with sauce. Good thing as I tried the sauce on the table and it was not to my liking. Best ham in a long time.
