Went on a Sunday night and it was still hopping with people. We had the Al Capone and the Rum Runner and both were great. Live music was a couple who sounded great! Very entertaining. Jamie was our waitress and she was incredibly helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing a drink.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was superb, and the service was fantastic. Great atmosphere, loved the décor and history of the club. Live music to boot. Don’t skip this Jewell!

We so enjoyed our visit(s) to the Ohio Club during our short trip to Hot Springs. The staff was great as well as one of the BEST burgers we’ve ever enjoyed! Menu is not extensive but it’s prefect because the establishment is Rich in history! We look forward to our return visits!

Went to the Ohio Club to check out what everyone was raving about. The history here is awesome and it’s really cool to look at all the old photos and read about the bar. We only ended up having one drink though and leaving right away. The bar was really awkward feeling. So many people, but everyone was quiet and the music was so low it just felt weird.

Cool Decour an awesome service but the salad was absolutely terrible. I was very disappointed when I got my salad having to pay $ 17 for some goat cheese and mescaline. I am a reliable salad connoisseur and I assure you that for $ 17 you can get a better salad even New York City. So do yourself a favor and get the amazing Hawaiian chicken sandwich or Ohio burger or Chicken Sandwich.

I’m not sure why these are the best burgers in town unless the others are just really terrible. They aren’t awful but certainly not great. They can only cook them medium well so if you like your burgers cooked to order don’t bother. They also don’t come fully dressed. The Hawaiians burger had a piece of pineapple and a piece of bacon on a well(over) cooked burger. Not impressive.

I always come to the ohio club when I visit hot springs! Staff is nice and the history of the bar is an amazing story to tell. I think the food is alright… nothing amazing. And its great when they have live bands upstairs. However, the main reason I come here is for the sausage cheese dip… I’ve never had anything else like it! I was super hungry and after an hour drive from a mountain hike, I was really excited to get it. I seriously tell everyone about this dip. Unspeakably disappointed when I found out they no longer serve it! Ended up just drinking but eating at another bar :(PLEASE bring it back!

Unilocal says they are open until 2:00am. I walked there at 12am and they were well closed. Social media is important. What kind of fruity operation are you running down there. Get your s. t together..

Simple menu — mostly burgers. Very good. Go here for the food, but, go here even more for the atmosphere. You’ll know almost immediately if this is «your kind» of place or not. A cool place to hang out. If I lived in Hot Springs it would be a place I would definitely hang out. Lots of famous folks have hung out there and some still do. They have live music pretty much every night. A good house band that plays ¾ weekends. A guest band on the other weekend. Other artists during the week. They say it is the oldest bar in Arkansas, establish 1910, I think. Anyway. Check it out. Would be a great place to take a date. The house band plays in the upstairs part. It is small, but, there is room to dance and, to me, the place has a cool, musiciany, romanticy, hip kind of feel to it. And the band doesn’t make you deaf, by the way.

Cool bar atmosphere with interesting history but that’s about it. The food is ok… nothing special. The wait staff is definitely rough around the edges and more like bar staff with no measure of politeness or southern hospitality. The place is maybe good for a quick stop to say you’ve been to the oldest bar in Arkansas and witness some history but that’s about it.

I went to the Ohio Club 3 nights in a row when I was in Hot Springs for 4 nights. The atmosphere in this place is great and it’s fun to drink in a place where Al Capone, other gangsters and several old baseball stars used to drink. The service was good every time we went and the food and drinks were great too. My gf and I split the veggie burger which is actually made up of strips of portabello mushrooms that are fried. I usually hate mushroom burgers but this thing was awesome! We also ordered the spicy fried green beans which were really satisfying as well. There’s not a whole lot to order here if you are a vegetarian but the burger and the fried green beans were really great. They also have a salad you can get without meat that sounded good but we didn’t try it. The live music at night is a bonus for the whole experience. Wednesday nights is always blues night and the band was a lot of fun. Thursday nights is always jazz night and that was a good time too. If you like having tasty food and a few drinks while listening to live music then this is a great place. Again, the atmosphere is great(the bar is really old and cool) and the history of the place is great which really complements the food and drinks. Will definitely go back next time we are in town. Had to buy a t-shirt!

Friendly service, and the fried green beans are amazing. Also? I appreciated the fact that it was 21 and over. Cool bar with good food and good service. One of my favorite things in Hot Springs so far.

Stopped in for a cocktail and some air conditioning on a warm Saturday afternoon. Really liked this place. Bartender was outstanding(wish I’d gotten her name so I could brag on her) and the«Berry Ohio» cocktail she made for me was super delish. Fruity and refreshing but not too sweet. Of course, the Ohio Club has plenty of history and there’s plenty on the walls to check out. The antique bar is massive and beautiful and gives a vibe of both significance and comfort. On our next visit, we’ll endeavor to enjoy a meal here because we really enjoyed the short visit we had this time.

This is a cool place to stop for lunch. The interior of the bar is fantastic because most of it is original. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, despite the fact that he was swamped with customers. I had a Reuben sandwich and it was excellent. The fries were also very good. No complaints!

Ordered an appetizer of fried green beans, crispy and good. My daughter and I ordered the Reuben sandwich. Best I’ve ever had, simply delicious and recommended. The environment and history cannot be beat. Wait staff was friendly and shared the history of the place.

Oldest Bar in Arkansas?! Secret walls to survive through the prohibition? C’mon, what isn’t there to like about this place. Awesome bar. Great food. Gotta have the Ohio Burger. Medium well burger with 3 strips of fatty thick cut spicy bacon on ciabatta. Bartender was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Live blues playing. Check it out!

We had a fantastic time at the Ohio Club. The history is phenomenal, the bartender was spot on, and our food was incredible!(Fresh in house buns!) Bonus, live blues band on Wednesday night! I could just close my eyes and imagine I was right in that same bar during the ’20’s… Amazing!

We came back because it was midday. Sort of ok beer selection. Variety but mostly just mid level beer. With the choices surrounding this bar, including a brewery across the street, the beer selection could be better. However service was prompt and excellent on this visit. Much improved from my last visit.

Neat place on the main drag of Hot Springs. We decided to stop in and eat lunch after touring the bath houses across the street. It is definitely within walking distance. The menu explains the history of the place and the history is actually pretty interesting. There is a bar on the first floor with some seating and there is second level with additional seating. We decided to sit on the second level because we wanted to eat lunch and it seemed more roomy. The décor is pretty cool there is lots of stuff to look at. Our server was very friendly and our food was as good as bar food gets and we both enjoyed hamburgers onion rings and french fries. The jukebox was playing bluesy type music. The whole presentation and package works. There are quite a few places to eat on the strip in Hot Springs. If you do visit and you’re hungry or thirsty I definitely recommend stopping in to the Ohio club.

We’d passed by the Ohio Club several times during our visits to downtown Hot Springs. It just looked like a big ol’ bar where the locals hung out(inside and out), so we usually just walked on by. We later learned about the history of the Ohio Club(it was frequented by the gangsters that used to come to Hot Springs) and were told by a local that they offer the best burgers in town. Coming from the Gangster Museum, we decided to continue our gangster-themed day and have an early dinner at the Ohio Club. The dining room is pretty small; there are only a few tables upstairs and down. We were seated in the upstairs room at around 5:30 — 6:00PM. By the time we left, people were already starting to come and filling up the seats for the live music that would be in that room at 8:00. The menu isn’t extensive and doesn’t offer much of a variety. Fortunately, we had only come for the burgers, of which there is a handful to choose from. I ordered the Ohio Club Burger(appropriate), which was«spicy beef, pepper jack cheese, bacon, a gigantic onion ring, and hot mustard.» They weren’t kidding. That was one delicious burger. Even the fries were especially delicious. I’d go back there for that burger alone. There is a lot of memorabilia on the walls, and the bar itself is huge and nostalgic. It’s worth popping in the place, if just to browse when it’s not too crowded. Even better, do yourself a favor and get a burger.
