Romancing the Stone

If you are looking for a unique gift or item for yourself, look no further. Romancing the Stone has something for everyone, and in my case, several things. I love interesting items so this store was right up my alley. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly and even gave us pointers on what to do around town. I’ve been here before and will always come back. This is a great place to shop.

Such a neat store, even with the obnoxiously loud Bob Marley music in the background.
They have all kinds of cool stuff like, masquerade masks (buy one, get one 50% off), incense, African statues, masks and art, sunglasses, jewelry, hippie art-​work, Hookahs, smokeless tobacco, etc. Anything that your hippie, African, free-​spirited mind could want.
Cool staff too :) Even told us all about the Haunted buildings in the area!

Romancing The Stone is hard to describe other than a combination of Spencer’s Gifts, a head shop, and a trinket shop. While most of the trinkets are things which we saw in China for a fraction of the cost, many items were on sale (50% off) which made them more reasonable.
There were the typical head shop items including hookahs, pipes, and black-​light friendly posters. However, there was a large selection of African faked artifacts as well as some items I would expect to see in a Restoration Hardware. The eclectic collection is almost as interesting as the diverse crowd that browses through the shop.
On a stretch of shops that desperately try to stand out this is the only one that really did and it is worth at least a five minute walkthrough.
