Rise & Dine Cafe

Anyone familiar with my Unilocal reviews knows that I prefer to eat from Local establishments when I am away from home. Now that we are coming to Hot Springs on a regular basis we are starting to run into our rut of going to familiar places (still no chains). This morning we decided to go out for breakfast and my boys were calling for another establishment that we have been to twice and liked.
I turned to Unilocal and found Rise & Shine Café and it was only a couple of miles away from our Condo. The Café is attached to a Harvest Food and would be easy to miss if you do not pay attention. It would be a shame if you did. This place was great.
Rise and Shine had the best Breakfast that we have had in Hot Springs and the prices were cheaper than anywhere else we have been. The portions were great, the food was cooked to order. My biscuit and gravy were incredible. My only complaint is they did not have the fryer on (20 minutes to heat up) for country fried steak with my breakfast.
The Rise & Dine Café is open for Breakfast 7 days a week and has lunch Monday thru Friday. They close at 2pm during the week and Noon on the Weekends. We Will Return!!!

Popped in randomly for breakfast and it was thoroughly delightful. Atmosphere is simple, friendly, and classic old-​timer diner. Excellent biscuits and gravy, cooked to order and fresh! The locals and staff are super welcoming to travelers/​tourists. Another great local alternative to the mundane chain restaurants in the area.

Great food, good and friendly service, and good prices. This is my favorite local breakfast place.

Good down home cooking cheap prices and no frills. The staff is always friendly and attentive and Greg is almost always there!

I had a really good breakfast here! The breakfast menu was well varied but I had to go for the stick to your ribs kind of food like grits, gravy etc. It was real good and so was the coffee. Waitress did a good job keeping my cup filled up. I also liked having the sports channels in easy view from the bar. I’ll be back!

Gregs Rise and Dine has awesome service and terrific food… the best is the southern ben loaded hashbrowns… you can’t go wrong!!!
