Don Juan Grill & Cantina

Lovely little spot inside the mall. One of my first thoughts when eating Mexican is always about the salsa. Don Juan’s has a very good one! Simply can’t stand the ketchup version of salsa. We’ve been here a few times and haven’t had any complaints. The enchiladas are really good and serving sizes are definitely filling.

Food was ok. Service ok. Drinks good. Wouldn’t try it again but I’ll probably never be back to Hot Springs.

I love their Enchiladas Verdes! They have such a great flavor you can’t find anywhere else. Atmosphere is pleasant. Salsa is good. Staff is friendly. Great place to enjoy Mexican food in Hot Springs!

Nice experience here, my Niece’s Birthday went well; the owners sang happy birthday in Espanol and to music! The food quality was good too!

Was here on ¹⁰⁄₁₃ for my niece’s birthday. I had the quesadilla relleno, which was tasty. It took awhile to get my water, and it had no ice. Though my food was good, the waiter kept asking me if he could take my plate when I stopped eating to talk to someone. I felt rushed. Because we were a group, the tip was added to the bill, which bothered me because I didn’t like the service. I like the restaurant on Albert Pike better.

Last Friday I went here with a group of friends, as we often do. We ordered our food and were enjoying our drinks while we waited until my friend found a bug in her drink. She showed our waiter what she found and he walked off, bug in a napkin. When the manager came over she told him what happened he asked if she wanted another drink and rolled his eyes as he walked off. He came back with a soda in a foam child’s cup complete with a lid. He was a complete smartass.
She lost her appetite by then and asked the waited to cancel her food order. He promptly brought her the ticket for the drink!
It was freaking unreal.
Another friend had purchased a drink from the bar prior to our arrival and brought it to the table to eat. The waiter charged him a 2^nd time for the drink. When my friend disputed the ticket, saying he’d already paid, the waiter argued with him about it until the bartender substantiated it.
We have been going to this restaurant for years, usually at my urging. I can assure you that we will go to any Mexican restaurant BUT here from now on.

Every time we go here (which is often), we get fast, friendly service. The food is very consistent-​always hot and delicious. Hands down best Mexican food in hot springs. I recommend this place to everyone! Don Juans has the best salsa, and the best fajitas around. I never have any problems with them at all.
