Had a facial done. It was a busy Friday for them. I waited 20 mins in the waiting room, wasn’t offered a drink or crackers though but Evelina did an excellent job and was very professional! If you guys need a facial get one from Evelina! She is the best. It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep three times Lol! I’ve never had a facial massage like hers.

If you have been to a quality spa you will be disappointed. My husband and I went as a Valentine’s day treat at the end of the month. The spa was decorated with tacky paper glitter hearts, cheap dollar store plastic heart table cloths, Mylar balloons, etc. they had a one size fits all robe selection that doesn’t fit at all unless you are a size 10 or less. We did the couple’s bath with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The champagne was cheap and bitter, no sweetness like most. The strawberries were dipped at home with melted chocolate chips so when you took a bite all the chocolate fell off. The bath was cold. To keep it warm we had to leave the water running constantly because the tub had air jets that sent cold bubbles up cooling off the water almost immediately. After the bath we were paraded through the main entrance in robes and dollar tree flip flops that were painful to wear. The massage was acceptable to my husband but left some pain. My massage was painful and left me wanting it to be over. The room also wasn’t warm, it was stifling hot making it more difficult to breathe. They also skimped on the walls in the bath room. They tried to mimic a sauna but used cheap wood so there was mold everywhere around the tub. That was just nasty. But no fear, if you need eggs, they sell them for $ 5 a dozen at the front desk. We found this to be kinda strange.

New to the area, I happened to come across an ad about this day spa. It’s always a process for me to find my «place» after relocating. This spa was great from my very first appointment, and I continue to go here. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is very friendly and the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I have had a variety of treatments, from waxing to facials, I always leave feeling great. Chrysalis is scheduled to open a second location in the historic downtown district, Spring of 2015. If you have the chance to stop by to see Cathy and her staff you’ll be glad you did.

I had an amazing facial here by Summer Summers. She was so professional and had really good advice to give me about my skin regimen– not to mention she was a pleasure to chat with.

We had the good fortune of finding this wonderful spa, as it was highly recommended by the concierge at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock. Not much curb appeal to this spa located in a strip mall. But once you are inside you are transported to a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The desk staff was very accommodating and patient. We had questions about the Hydrotherapy, which it turns out is nothing more than an over-sized bathtub shaped whirlpool. I was there with three other guys(who were running the Little Rock Marathon the following day). Our hope was that the massage and hydrotherapy would relax and refresh. Wow! Each of us came out of this experience feeling fabulous. My therapist Cheryl gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Although the famous ‘mineral springs’ that Hot Springs is know for were absent here, I assure you that it doesn’t diminish the experience of relaxation and quality. I highly recommend this place.
