The Pastor was extremely friendly, as was the rest of the congregation. We were greeted right away, everyone was in a great mood and it was an amazing atmosphere to walk in to. The worship music, sadly, was very mournful and slow. However, the sermon had a great message, the pulpit had an amazing set up, but we were extremely disappointed with their dismal nursery. In fact, they were saying that they were no longer going to be able to offer nursery services because of lack of volunteers. It was so humid in the nursery, and my son is VERY allergic to mold spores. He coughed the rest of the day and had a runny nose. The CHILDREN that were running the nursery not only had my sons teething toys all over the dingy floor, and they were stepping on them. They put him in an old and dirty pack-n-play with old cheerios in it! As if any of those children would know how to perform the Heimlich on an infant. The children had no idea how to put away the pack-n-play, so I had to help with that, and then one of the girls was rough-housing with the other children, locking them in to the nursery and not listening to me, the adult, when I asked her to move so we could exit. Chaotic and highly disorganized. The worst part, they put my sons diaper on backwards! He peed all over the front hall carpeting-it was absolutely mortifying! It was too bad that their forlorn attempt at a nursery overshadowed our experience and the other great things about this church.
