Really beautiful place! I love the living plants. The Barista was wonderful too. Very welcoming and helpful. I got a latte, which was very yummy, and a blueberry muffin(which was okay, not fantastic). I’ll definitely come back for the coffee! Stop by if you’re driving up the 101.

Loving the vibe at Steep! The place is very clean with a homey hipster feel. Definitely exceeded my expectations considering its surroundings. Small and quiet but I don’t think this town requires anything more. Great use of space! They also have jewelry and exotic stones for sale, very pretty. A little expensive, then again I don’t know how much they usually cost. But definitely sets Steep apart from other coffee shops. I asked for a recommendation from the very friendly/chatty barista and purchased an iced local honey latte. Amazing! Seriously! I highly debated grabbing another to go but I had a long drive home and I don’t think my bladder would have loved me very much if I did. The latte was just the right amount of sweet and there was organic bee pollen sprinkled on top. whaaaaaa?! Very cool. They have a few yummy looking pastries to choose from as well. You know it’s good when, 2 days later, you can stop thinking about the honey latte. If I’m ever out this way again this stop will be a MUST. Thanks for the great coffee, keep up the good work!

My friend insisted that I stop here for the 8 hour cold brew on my 6 hour drive home, and it was an awesome suggestion. The place of super cute, and the staff is very friendly. The coffee itself was super smooth and so good(and nicely caffeinated). This is one of the best cold brews I’ve had.

Quality of baristas and drinks vary. Loved this place the first time I came, but on my most recent visit, the barista pulled a somewhat burnt-tasting shot. Ultimately, would still stop here for a decent coffee, but not a 4 – 5 star quality.

Stopped by driving back to the bay from Ukiah. I had a honey latte that was delicious; the bee pollen was a surprising addition, but I’m not sure I would add it to my drink on a regular basis. The lavender latte sounds delicious, and if I ever find myself there again, I will definitely order it. My hubby had one of the pour overs. He didn’t seem to think it was tremendous, but was pleased enough.

Pour over, single origin, cold brew, soy milk frothed to perfect marshmallow flavor and great warm service. Could not have asked for more. We will be sure to return.

Driving up to Ukiah at night I passed by this spot and told myself that if I went back this way that i would stop and try it out. I’m so glad I did! This is easily one of my favorite little gems in the north bay! The coffee is organic and the shop is simply a delightful find! Half the time I will Unilocal search areas but when I’m just driving around I find it more fun to try and go into a place not knowing what people thought of this place to give me the most«objective» and open mindedness before I judge something too quick. Inside the shop they have a cold brew station that they actually use for their cold brew. Also they have a miniature one to purchase if that’s something you’re looking for. They have a pour over station using organic coffee, and a few really unique blends. The body is a bit more medium go light of a roast(for those who needed to know) and they also do espresso! I got a cappuccino and the barista kicked butt at pulling a good shot. The location is really interesting: when you go from like a highway to this little pit stop town you would be surprised to find a really high caliber spot in such a random place! I think if this location was in SF or Oakland it would easily stack up to any solid coffee shop out there. The décor in the building is really great too and gives it a really nice earthy vibe that flows well with their store. It’s such a far drive from the city, but I plan to go back again some time and get the same great experience!

We stopped here on the way north to Oregon. We saw it was well rated on Unilocal so gave it a try. So good! We both tried the iced local honey latte and were so impressed. Definitely give this little local coffee shop a try. It’s definitely comparable to the coffee shops in the big wig cities.

This place was an unexpected stop on our drive back north from the Bay-area. Lovely atmosphere. Looks like a well trained eye was involved in the design of this shop. All the little details matter here. The coffee was excellent and the owners were delightful.

A true diamond in the rough. Amidst the tacky tourist stops that the town of Hopland has to offer, Steep stands alone as a blend of local culture and coffee culture. The barista/owner was friendly and knowledgeable, the coffee was fantastic, and the space was clean and appealing. Definitely did not expect such a big winner in such a small town, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re ever passing through Hopland, make sure to stop by Steep; you won’t be disappointed!

Creative beverage offering, nice environment, friendly service, and shaded outdoor seating. They have a clean, simple formula, and it works. It’s a hip little shop that was definately worth the stop.

The décor is clean and simple, a little eclectic. There’s a really cool alchemical apparatus style ice-brewed coffee maker dripping away on the counter. The coffee was excellent, not bitter, but strong. I got an iced honey-sweetened almond milk latte with bee pollen sprinkled on top, and had to force myself not to chug it.

STEEP in Hopland is an amazing little gem tucked in off the side of 10. Everything in there is organic! My favorite drink is the iced matcha latte with almond milk! They also have soy as a milk alternative. I’ve had their espresso and the honey latte. Both are incredible. The owners are friendly and are very helpful and knowledgable.

I wish I didn’t live so far away from this place! My boyfriend stopped by on our way up from LA to Eureka. The customer service was stellar, with some very friendly employees who made us fantastic coffee. The shop itself is minimalistically decorated and very hip. Two thumbs up!

I live in Willits and my husband’s from San Diego. We make the trip to visit his family as often as we can and we always leave early in the morning. Everytime, without fail, my craving for a coffee boost and a snack hit me in Hopland. I happily discovered that now there is somewhere that can satisfy both needs! The place was warm and welcoming yet spacious with vaulted ceilings. Looking around I got the impression that a lot of thought went into creating the atmosphere. There were potted coffee plants, personalized Steep coffee mugs and stunningly beautiful, large crystal décor. It felt luxurious with a hint of bohemian. I had my usual go-to, a coffee with chocolate, cinnamon and cream. The coffee was fresh tasting and delicious. The friendly woman behind the counter(who ended up being the owner of this new business) explained that it is Thanksgiving(great coffee to start with) and her and her partner have their own special Steep blends made. What a nice touch! There were a couple choices for chocolate, I chose the one she said was made from a local business in Willits, Starchild Chocolate. Loving this support local theme! The cream and cinnamon were on a table that customers could access which is nice when you like a very specific amount like I do. I also got a toasted bagel with cream cheese(pastries from Roland’s bakery, another local business!) that hit the spot! Overall I am happy with my experience and will be popping in whenever I am traveling through or near by! I love the friendly faces and good coffee plus it feels good to support a business that is supportive of other local businesses. Small town charm, you know?
