Great little shop wth great espresso. Ample seating. And 2 nice bathrooms. When I was here 3 people came in just to buy beans. So I’m assuming that have great beans(that appear to be roasted on their own). They also have a very small food menu including some breakfast sandwiches and a decent pastry selection. They also were selling some cherries that I bought —(pre-washed ready to eat). I really liked the place. Really cool shop in a really cool town. 5-stars.

This place made my morning with a great americano and fun staff. I also really enjoyed the seats outside to enjoy the rare sunshine.

Best coffee evaaa! We drink a lot a coffee, and have high expectations, and this place didn’t let us down. Coffee is flavorful and my favorite is their almond milk caffe latte.

Great little coffee spot. On the smaller side, but there is an upstairs level with a few tables — making a better study environment. Good selection of beverages and food.

Some the best coffee I’ve had and priced extremely well. This should be your first stop in hood river!

One of the best coffee experiences ever. I highly recommend the Kenya or Guatemala in Pour-over, it was excellent! Either of those pair very well with the chocolate croissant or the Farmer sandwich. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. It’s a great place to go read your book and drink your coffee. There’s lots of seating on the main floor and upstairs. Their dog, Missy, was very friendly, and calm, and kept going from table to table saying hi to everybody. We’re definitely coming back once we go back to Mount Hood!

A very nice cup of coffee. Good gluten free pastry options. A lot of seating space upstairs if you want to find a place to work

While it is a little ways from the main drag, still worth a drive for fresh beans and espresso. They have a great espresso machine(spendy model $$$). If your driving down the George you should stop by and pick up some beans for home. I have never eaten here so my rating does include food at all.

Yes! Chiapas and Kenyan(my preference) pour overs were done to perfection. Plus, freshly picked peaches(albeit $ 1 a piece.) added to my ideal start to the day.

At its best, coffee is a transporting experience — a vehicle to remembering and reminiscing over experiences of a place. I had just this experience this morning at 10 Speed. In college, I spent a summer in Kenya and this morning I sipped a single origin pour over from Nakuru. I remembered being on safari in the reserve in Nakuru and all the flamingos on lake. The pour over was smooth and all that a Kenyan coffee should be. The prices were really reasonable — just $ 2.25 for a large pour over. The barista was warm and laid back and her vibe exuded in the space. It all felt just right for a summer Sunday morning.

Very good pour over coffee with a large costing $ 2.25. Wife got a coconut latte which she said was also very good. Simple seating and a few picnic tables outside on the sidewalk. Good service.

Huge Fan of 10-speed!!! As a long time local Hood River resident I have seen coffee shops come & go and 10 speed sustains & will be a part of the local scene for a long time to some. in my opinion there are several reasons 10 speed rises above many others. first and foremost they roast their own beans on site and their Coffee is custom brewed created for each person. so its very personal. each cup is presented in artistry with beautiful Latte art displayed in the foam. equally important the staff is personable and friendly either in the wee hours of the morning before I head out to the river for a paddle or late in the day when. I stop in for a pick me up latte. they are consistent and thoughtful for every customer that walks in the store. Great people, great coffee, great food ! Bryan, 10 Speeds owner is on site working behind the counter most every time I come in to get a coffee. in the shop and to me that speaks volumes about a business & an owner who cares and is fully invested in making it the best it can be. Great people, great coffee, great doughnuts! it is darn good stuff & I recommend it to friends and my own clients often!

The reviews don’t lie, it might be small town but this is great coffee. I had an excellent cap and the wife a very tasty latte. They take time and do it right here. Also the place was pretty big if you need a chill spot.

I go to a lot of coffee shops and I’m willing to say with plenty of confidence that 10 Speed is about as good as a coffee shop gets. I highly recommend their pour overs. They are done to perfection. Off the menu, the atmosphere is wonderful. Be sure to check upstairs for additional seating and a bit more privacy. Staff is friendly, helpful, and with a great sense of humor. I’m not in Hood River often, but when I am I’ll be sure to stop at 10 Speed Coffee.

Totally just happened upon this coffee shop, thanks to my Unilocal iPhone app. Some of the best places I have found seem to be discovered that way. I can’t say I tried the pastries here, nor can I say I chatted it up with the staff. It was early and I just needed a coffee… bad. I ordered up two of their largest size White Chocolate Mochas(WCM) and hit the road. It wasn’t until I settled back into the car that I sipped down their frothy concoction. Yowza, their coffee is the bomb! I thought I already had the best WCM but I was very wrong. 10 Speed Coffee has THEBESTWCM I have EVER tried! Hands down! Had I tried it in the store I would have told them so… but we were a mile away by that time. Next time we are in town I know where to get coffee! I wish I bought some of the ground coffee beans they sold by the bag. Dang it!

If you like good coffee brewed with in-house roasted beans, fun service, a pretty stellar atmosphere, and you happen to enjoy bicycles– This is The Spot! In town racing the Mt. Hood Classic, I happened upon this place via a locals recommendation and was happy to have been lucky to receive this piece of advice. Awesome place, community oriented, Great Layout, Super Chill Owner. No Lance, It is about the bike &10 speed is about the Coffee…

Good coffee, free wifi, and a comfortable place to hang out. The upstairs is nice and quiet, with comfortable seats. They have free wifi, but you have to ask for the password. My only complaint was that they close fairly early, at least it was at 4:00pm when I was there. This wouldn’t have been a problem except the barista didn’t tell us until after we ordered, at 3:50pm, with plans to stay. She was nice enough to let us hang out upstairs while she cleaned and closed up shop, but had we known before we ordered we probably would have found some other place.

Really great coffee here — a 12 oz drip coffee($ 2) and a scone($ 2.75) will give your day a real boost. Seriously, one of the best scones I have ever had — really awesome. The scones are wholesome(think«granola-ee») and innovative(gingers/peach/cranberry, etc.). I heard the pastry chef is quite the culinary artist. Also, the $ 1 donut is fantastic — they have blueberry donuts topped with powdered sugar that are sure not to disappoint. Love the bicycle themed decore in here. Very cool. Super chill place to sit back, relax, read a book, surf the internet(free wi fi) and take in the beautiful views of Hood River. If I were a regular in HR, this would definitely be one of my hangouts. Recommended.
