Platte Lake Resort I

Quiet and peaceful area, the cottages here are a little small but you are right on Platte Lake. The location is good, you are within 10 miles of golf courses, groceries, and a outdoor movie theatre.
The #6 unit is not updated as the other units. There is a small tv on a raised stand in the corner of the room which kind of makes you feel like you are watching tv in a doctor’s office! Actually, doctor’s offices have more modern waiting rooms!
There is no central air here, so bring your fans! This unit seems to retain heat more than others! The shower is kind of small, perfect for people less than 6 ft 150 lbs. I would recommend buying your drinking water from the store. The mattress is very uncomfortable and the living area is pretty small.
Very affordable for the week if you want to stay under $ 850 for lodging. Pets are not allowed here which is a shame since my dog loves the water! If you are looking for an inexpensive place with not much fanfare than this is for you. I’m a little more high maintenance and prefer places like the Homestead in Glen Arbor!
