Good selection but the prices are pretty high. I went in looking and was never recognized about being there. Maybe I don’t fit the Muumuu description?

My mom wants to wear a muumuu. I guess she has been here before since she really thinks this has the best. It was empty when we came in. There’s two older ladies working. One going about the shop the other at the counter. I really felt overwhelmed inside. I didn’t know where to look but I wasn’t looking since it was only my mom that wanted one. The worker that was on the floor came by, greeted us and helped us throughout our stay here. I guess if you’re the only ones in the store they stick with you until others come in. She pointed my mom to the right rack for her size. After she picked some out, we headed to the back to try them on. Since it was going to be a while I asked the worker where I could look that were my size. Not surprised that the first rack walking in is my size. She says I’m a ½ or ¾. The ones I liked were«one size.» Those dresses were really cute. The fitting room has two mirrors and a drape as a door. There’s hooks to hang your stuff. They don’t seem to mind taking pictures. If there’s a certain color and style, you have to order and it takes time to make I assume. Oh! They have a sale also.

Aloha, These tourists ladies that wrote negative reviews about T & L are entitled to their own idea’s, but being a «Local customer» I’d like to share my thoughts. I have shopped at T & L for years This is a store where lot’s of us locals to get muu-mu’s for special event’s and everyday uses. They have so many styles /prices. The sales ladies are not«pushy» and in your face, like mainland stores. They will get a dressing room ready for you with your try on’s.they also have a seamstress on hand to help with alterations. Since you are from the mainland, you may not be aware of how a muu-muu should fit. Who ever told you to shop there, for souvenir’s was wrong, HELLO Go to the SWAPMEET! T & L rocks!

I went the day before my wedding in Oahu to look for a wedding dress. I had heard from locals and from transplants to the big island of Los Angeles. My hubby to be and I took a bus to the store and was overwhelmed by the selection. Their were dresses, pau skirts, pau tops, uniforms, etc. Yes, the staff was less then forthcoming with the Aloha spirit but I didn’t really know what I was looking for so they pretty much left me alone to browse. It took me about an hour to find the perfect dress. The dress cost me $ 34.99 so I left there pretty happy and ready for my big day.
