Subway

Oh my goodness! How is this branch of subway still around? Just went in to grab lunch today lets just say i am never going back to this subway again! 1. All of the workers there have an attitude problem! One of the workers asked if i wanted my sandwhich toasted and i said yes, after she does this loud exhale as she turns to the oven! Thats your job, youre getting mad cause a costumer wanted his sandwich toasted? Also a oriental lady that works there, im guessing shes the manager was ringing me up, i told her i wanted to do the combo and what does she do? She rang everything up separately! So instead of a 7 dollar meal it comes out as 11 and some change! Honestly its cool if she charged me separately whatever, its the costumer service that killed me! I used to work in the restaurant business its not hard to smile and greet costumers. Whats going on here?

This is why I love Unilocal!Always entertaining. People actually get on here and give the store a bad review because THEY were missing ingredients in their sammich or had the wrong sammich completely! Lol! I’ve never left a Subway with a sammich I didnt want… that’d be rediculous as I just watched the person make the sammich right in front of my face! Lol.
In my humble opinion Subway should be rated on cleanliness, freshness and availability of ingredients, attitude of service and whether or not they always have fresh chocolate chip cookies in the cookie shelf! (You know dats right!)
This place seemed clean, well lit, ingredients were fresh enough, service was fast and polite. Chocolate cookies on da shelf (a little crispy but still softish in the center). 4 star experience, at least.

Absolutely the worst Subway experiences ever. Don’t upset the so called «subway ninja» as he will literally shut down and begin «cursing» customers under his breath (but still loud enough for us the hear). Seriously? Because we asked you to substitute chicken for pepperoni on a flatizza! We even offered to pay more for it. From twice a week to never again!

Watch VERY carefully as the person makes your sandwich! I ordered a footlong Spicy Italian on my way to work in the morning but wasn’t paying attention while the person made it. When got back to work and unwrapped my sandwich at lunch, I found that I had a turkey sub. I called to let them know that my order was incorrect and was informed that the owner would call me the next day. I never received a call so I stopped into the store the next morning. Rather than giving me a footlong Spicy Italian to rectify the error, the manager gave me a 6 inch spicy Italian and charged me for the other half saying, «What do you want me to do? You took the sandwich.» Really!?@!! If I had known that the lady made the wrong sandwich, I absolutely would not have walked out with it.

yesterday, will the absolute last time i patronize the Aina Haina Subway. While the sandwiches are excellent the «Oriental Guy» is a cashier scam artist.
My bill was $ 7.49 and I gave him $ 8.00. He dropped a dollar under the counter and then said I needed to give him more $$$$.
the time before that, several months ago, my bill was 10.79, I gave him a 20 dollar bill and a ! dollar bill, expecting $ 10.00 change. he insisted that i gave him $ 11.00.
Go there because the food is good, but count your $$$ twice before making any transactions with this guy. Or wait for the gal, she always gave me excellent service.

Every time I go to this Subway I leave annoyed! This last time I went in for a sandwich I was second in line thinking this was going to be a quick in and out lunch, boy was I wrong!
I went to the store this past Friday and was second in line. They made the sandwich for the guy in front of my and then stopped him at the cash register. They stopped mine before putting on the toppings; they then went back to get extra cheese (I’m guessing for the lunch rush since this was right before noon) now that they have stopped two customers there is a line of 8 people. They make the sandwich’s for all 8 people… still have not cashed the guy out in front of me or put toppings on mine. After lining up all of the orders they finally cash the guys order out and ask what I want on my sandwich. This whole process took almost 40 minutes, they had three staff members working. I’m not sure what was going on behind the counter because it was obvious they didn’t know what they were doing or how to run a store.
The time before this visit (a week ago) I went in to order a quick sandwich and was third inline after 10 minutes and not moving up one spot and no one taking orders I decided to leave.
If you are looking for Subway visit the store at Koko Marina, the staff is friendly and much quicker!

This is the home of the Subway Ninja.
The Subway Ninja is an elusive sandwich maker (is there a better name for that? Like the sandwich-​making equivalent of a barista?) who makes the most PERFECT Subway sandwich creations in record time! If you blink, you’ll miss it!
Seeing this phenomenon in person is totally worth the extra 2 minute drive in the opposite direction of where I’m going. Yup, he’s THAT good.

This is a great Subway to go to… I’m not going to rate the food because I think it’s about the same everywhere and we all know it. I will say that this place is always clean, neatly-​stocked, rarely run out of product if ever (many other Subways run out of breads before lunch rush is even over) and, if you go there enough, they’ll remember your order and they’re always pretty friendly! (Except for one guy… he’s a tool). Be warned, though, there are only 3 or 4 tables that can seat four small people (two comfortably). So plan on eating elsewhere!
Also, the whole «$ 5 footlong» thing is actually $ 6 in Hawaii. Lame but not their fault.
Good place for a cheap sandwich!

This is hands down my favorite Subway location. Whether it’s an early morning Subway Melt or a Club sandwich in the afternoon, I always end up with a well made sandwich full of all the things I want.
And in case you were wondering, no this is not a Subway location that skimps on the amount of veggies and meat they give you. Sloppy sandwiches? Not at this Subway!
The owners and the workers are all nice and great at what they do. I go here so often that I know many of them by first name.
This is the ONLY Subway I will go to if I have a choice. On rare occasions I’ll go to other Subway locations closer to town when I’m there but if I’m on the south east side, the ONLY location I’ll go is to Aina Haina Subway.

I like this Subway … the owner & staff are all very friendly !!!
I have recently & quite unfortunately discovered their cookies — why ??? a dozen for $ 5 something — crunchy outside & chewy inside — choc. chip, oatmeal, white choc. mac. nut, peanut butter, and double choc. chip.
Anyway the chix breast sub is our favorite sub of choice.
