I’m so happy that they still have the beautiful red holiday cups and especially Carmel Brule Latte after the 1st of January 2016.

Yikes, I feel bad writing a review about something that Starbucks is not known for which is their oatmeal. But, wow, is their oatmeal just inedible. I could hardly finish it. Yes, I was eating fantastic oatmeal from the Trump for two days but I decided that I wanted to save money so I told my husband to get oatmeal elsewhere. He suggested Starbucks. EEKS is right! I hope that they change their formula because I was more than THRILLED when I saw that Coffee Bean serves oatmeal. Theirs is made in a huge vat(or whatever you call it) and not instant like Starbucks’. Oh I have to add that the brown sugar that Starbucks includes with their oatmeal is actually like regular white sugar only it’s brown. Yep, it’s not the sticky kind of delicious brown sugar that sticks together. It’s sooooo gross. Will never eat oatmeal there again.

This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Trust me, I will never be going back to this place again. I was in line at the register and there was only one other person behind me, apparently he was a regular. I’m ordering three things and the guy taking my order is literally rushing me through my orders and slamming every cup down as he finishes writing on them. I wasn’t there for more than 45 seconds. Seriously, I’m not kidding. After I scanned my phone for payment, I don’t event get a courteous«Thanks,» but instead, «Okay, that’s it.» uhh… Okay. –No tip for you(anyone who knows me, knows that I ALWAYS tip) Anyway, sure enough as soon as I walk to the side to wait for my drink, the cashier is extremely happy to see the next guy in line. What a shocker. No, not really. When my drink was done being made, she didn’t even call it out, instead they’re all talking to each other about last night’s drinking shenanigans. Great, I’m all for hanging out, outside of work, but dude, acknowledge ALL of your customers. Clearly, these people only cater to their regulars and could care less about anyone new who walks in there. I work in Waikiki and am pretty sure I’ll be going to coffee bean from now on which is just a couple storefronts down.

This is my favorite Starbucks to go to before a long day at work. My favorite baristas are Cameron and Rachel :] They always have good recommendations on drinks and pastries when I’m feeling indecisive and don’t know what to order, and always take the time to make sure my order is right.(And they don’t make fun of me or make me feel bad, like some other coffee places do, when I order a «medium» or «small».). Thank you for making sure I always have the perfect coffee to start my day off for a great shift! Mahalo!

The staff here are consistently rude and make you feel rushed and uninvited. My daughter and I love Starbucks dates together but we avoid this location and walk the extra blocks to seaside. Not to mention, they NEVER make my drink right the first time. I didn’t even ask them to correct it last time because they were so rude I just wanted to leave.

This Starbucks by far has the best customer service of all the ones in Waikiki. I usually go to coffee bean that’s a few shops down but I like to switch it up every now and then. The employees at this Starbucks remembered me and my drink(had to have been a few weeks since my last visit) Besides making my drink perfectly, just remembering their customers goes along way.

This is so far the baddest experience I have with a cashier/barista of Starbucks. His name is Kevin! He seem to rush me in choosing my orders. In fact, when my wife was doing a separate order and redeeming a free(complimentary) drinks, This guy, Kevin was showing a disinterested/unattentive look and gestures. I also observed that in doing so he showed a rude action towards his customer. This is unacceptable while Starbucks is fostering a pleasant customer experience. My hawaiian experience to exagerate was tainted with this very poor service by a Starbuck employee at that!

Super unfriendly. They need to be reminded that they work in the customer service industry. I wouldn’t go back to this Starbucks and would discourage others from purchasing anything here.

Fairly friendly staff, quick service and my coffee was delicious as always. Pretty small inside but it wasn’t busy when I went so that didn’t bother me. No complaints here.

A smile wouldn’t hurt either! Like, drink some coffee and get a little happier. There is one tall guy who is always great, but I dunno maybe they aren’t treated well as staff. They seem miserable. every time I go in. :-/

This is not a place to study and is for tourist or anybody to come and order to go! ;) It is a small place to order and not much seating areas and only outdoor. I would say maybe 4 — 6 tables… It is always full, but I would just order the drink to go and just walk around to shop :)

Service was fast, and drinks(double espresso, peppermint mocha latte) were good. However, service was awful. No smiles, no thank yous. I thought it was me, but the gentleman behind me greeted the cashier with a «Good morning!» and a big smile… no response, just a blank look. There are many Starbucks locations in Waikiki. Avoid this one. EDIT: I have returned here several times since the original review and have received great counter service.

No hazelnut, no thai, terrible service. Went to this Starbucks on this beautiful Sunday. First, the music was so loud, I couldn’t hear what the cashier was saying and vice versa. As I’m ordering, she proceeds to have a side conversation with a follow worker, then sassily asked me, «Your name?». Then, as she calls out the food order and her counterpart repeats it to her, verifying he’s received the request, he failed to get my husbands scone and let us know point blank that he just forgot… mind you, we were the only people in line! Only positive thing about this experience is that I received my coffee at the end of it.

I did not expect to wait in line for at least 10 minutes when there was only a couple of customers ahead of me. If only I was not craving for a tall Tazo chai latte($ 3.61), I would have walked out on them.

Once upon a time, I started visiting this Starbucks not because it was the closest coffee shop to my office,(there are about 4 spots in a .25-mile radius) but because the previous manager Mike and his staff were so overly friendly, I wanted to go back. It felt like«Cheers» because they really did make an effort to know your name. There’s just something about having«Lisa» scrawled on the top of my cup and my order started the moment I walked in the door that made me go back, probably a lot more often than my budget should have allowed. There was even a time at Christmas when buying a stack of gift cards that Mike gave me a free card as a thank you. Talk about a great business investment — you know where I recommended to all my friends. It’s been a couple years and unfortunately there’s been a complete staff turnover by now, but the one thing that remains is the staff is still friendly and the drinks are always perfectly prepared. I’ll admit, I’m a coffee snob. Nothing makes me curse ineptitude like a scorched shot of espresso or an overly sweetened latte. This store always gets it right, and even with a line out the door most mornings, they are expertly quick and efficient.

I got to have my coffee! I was so glad that there was a Starbucks near me. They got all the usual Starbucks drinks and all the Starbucks Hawaii mugs and«Hawaii» coffee labeled and pictures on the warm coffee cups that you drink normally if you brang your own cup in. I actually debated to buy one for myself since it was from Hawaii. What am I doing? Am I thinking like a tourist or a local? LOL: P *** Fast and efficient *** Great service *** Coffee was hot
