I’m shocked that this salon doesn’t have a higher star rating.
Tiffany & her staff were courteous and as other Unilocalers have mentioned good & fast.
I’ve gotten a cut, color and even a straight perm and all have come out great. I’m really excited my gf turned me onto Tiffany.

I always get so much compliments on my hair! They always do such a great job! Tiffany is great! I drive from Waipahu to mccully cause it’s so worth it!!! They literally saved my hair!

The ONLY place I come to get my hair done! They always do an awesome job. I have been coming here since I was in middle school, and I’m in college now! Woohoo! If you’re thinking about switching or trying a new hair salon, I suggest you come here!

So I made a appointment for hair perm for long hair. They said they will take 3 hours or less I had to wait for 4 hours and just for the perm. All the stylist was doing my hair and everything. I swear they were so aggressive with my hair they kept on pulling my hair and pulling my ear rings which hurt as fuck! I spent $ 250 for a perm that wasn’t even good or straight!
After not washing my hair for 24 hours I finally washed my hair last night and when I woke up this morning my hair was still wavy as fuck! And my hair was so rough than before! Like shit they did a terrible job doing my hair! I would never recommend this hair salon! Korean people don’t know what there doing!!! I
I’m never going to come here again for my hair!!! I would rather go somewhere around alas. I recommend you to not come here if you want to have your hair done

This past Friday I went to Salon Tiffany for the first time after hearing multiple great things about the salon. Let me tell you — they did not disappoint AT ALL!
The ladies working in the shop are so hardworking and friendly, and really make sure that you get the cut that you want. When I was first seated, they asked how much of my hair I wanted to cut (about 8″) and told me they would pre-​cut my hair (to a shorter length/​more manageable). Following, I got the usual shampoo+conditioner, and then was helped by a different woman (I believe it was Jessica — looking at past reviews) who cut my hair. With styling included after, the cost was $ 40+ + tip, not bad at all in my eyes. Got out of the shop and realized I had been in there for no more than 30 minutes, I was shocked at how fast they were able to work on my hair!
The cut was perfect, though a little shocking to me at first (I think because I’ve had longer hair all my life), but I will definitely be back to get my hair done. Over the past three days, I think I’ve recommended a handful of people to also go and try out this salon. Thanks Salon Tiffany for making my day!

After hearing a multitude of good things about this salon from my friends and finding out that the haircut was only $ 40 (compared to the $ 60 I used to pay at my old salon), I ditched my old salon and put my faith into this one. Thankfully, I did.
The day I got my haircut was a day of spontaneity. According to their brief description on the McCully shopping center website, they do accommodate walk-​ins. But to guarantee myself a spot, I decided to call. Sure enough, they had an opening for me at 1 pm!
The salon gets busy around this time and each stylist can be working on more than one person at once, especially if you’re getting some kind of hair treatment or coloring that may take a while. Nonetheless, I arrived early to my appointment (around 12:45) and they took me right away. The entire traditional haircut process with shampoo/​conditioner/​blow drying will take at max, 30 minutes. My hair went up to my waist prior to my haircut but they still finished within that time!
The most notable thing about my experience was how polite and respectful the woman cutting my hair was. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. At first, she cut it considerably longer than what was in the picture just to make sure that she didn’t cut it too short the first time. I greatly appreciated that she took into consideration that I might have been shocked by the sudden change to short hair after I explained to her that I’ve had long hair for years. After I gave her the okay to cut more, she went ahead and did it. I love the final product!
My first experience at Salon Tiffany’s was quick and pleasant. From how easy it was to book an appointment to the polite service, I’m definitely coming back the minute I think I’m going to need a trim.

Tiffany personally gave me an expert haircut that made me feel good about myself.

Tiffany does a fabulous job cutting and styling hair! She is very efficient and is able to cut and style your hair in less than 30 minutes! I have been getting my hair done by Tiffany for over 20+ years and all I can say is she is AMAZING! I’m always happy with my hair cut and color. She listens to what you want done and pays attention to detail. She’s really an artist not just a stylist. Her prices are the best compared. I’m sad that I moved out of Hawaii, but I always make sure to get my hair done when I visit Hawaii.

Absolutely love this place.
Men’s cut is thorough. Initial wash and massage, cut, second wash, dry and style.
Women’s cut is precise. Initial was and massage, consultation of what you want, wet cut, blow dry (love how the staff jumps in and assists so you feel multiple blow dryers which puts the solo blow dry to shame), dry cut and style.
That’s at least what we’ve experienced with her. Situations may vary based on needs of clientele.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for quite some time and always have Jessica. She’s fantastic! So kind and thorough even on her busy days. She provides that quality you barely find at other salons and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg! I love her work each time she does my boyfriends hair that I had to have my hair cut too! Sounds awkward a bit? You must be thinking — So she likes her boyfriends haircut that she wants it too? No no. It’s the time and attention that she gives to achieve the look that you visioned. Who else does that nowadays?

And let me not forget to mention, the rest of the staff are just as wonderful! Love them!

Well, let’s see now it’s been almost 18 yrs coming to salon I love sooo much. Main reason is I love coming to see Tiffany. She’s helped managed my Hawaiian thick hair over the many years ive known her and some of her staff. When I walk through those doors and see her face lite up «Millie, where have you been?» Lol. It makes me feel sooo good like I’m coming home… hahahaha! Yes, I do venture off at times and I complain about it & my husband always says «why do you keep doing that just stay with Tiffany! Lol!
Tiffany has straightened my hair, color, cut, highlight, deep conditioned and styles it to all how I love it! She’s the best and I’m going on 18 yrs strong of being her customer!

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so for Salon Tiffany.
Here is my background: the previous time I had a hair cut prior to this visit was in July 2014. I had a magic straight and color done at that time at a different salon in another country.
One year later and having just moved to Hawaii, I really needed a hair cut, color, and magic straight done badly. After reading reviews and reviewing prices, I ended up here.
Upon walking in, two ladies greeted me. I told them what I wanted done and they quoted me a price, as stated on the menu. I was agreeable. When I told them I wanted a color, she asked what color and I said brown. I figured she was going to bring me the color chart of all sorts of browns for me to choose. Nope!
I was seated and low and behold, she came out with a bowl with an already mixed brown. Who knows what brown it could be. I told her that I didn’t want something too dark. She assured me and said its lighter than my hair color.
Long story short, my hair came out really dark. I mentioned it after a blow dry and she said it will fade, and my hair color to begin with was already dark. ‘You can see the color in the sunlight’. Wtf?! Who stays out in the sun all day?
My hair was cut shorter than I liked it to be and I had to remind her not to cut off too much. The style was nicely done though, as well as the magic straight.
Pros: good hair cut style, magic straight was as expected, good price.
Cons: she did not consult color with me and assumed a ‘brown’. She cut off a tad too much off my length. The lady who washed my hair and blew dry my hair was really rough!!! She was tugging my hair all over the place.
I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t come back. However, it will not be my first choice to do so. I’ll continue my search for a better salon.

My first time there today — I got the Magic Straightening. And magical it was indeed! My thick Japanese hair with a slight wave and frizz is now shiny and straight!!! This is the best straightening I’ve gotten, and I’ve gotten enough to know — relaxer, straight perm, Japanese flat iron straightening, etc. It’s always too flat or not straight enough, hair texture changed for the worse, on top of being too expensive! At $ 250 for my waist length hair, it is reasonable and I love the result. Super straight and silky but a touch of volume up top so I don’t look weird.
The salon is clean and spacious. The chairs are really comfortable and the lighting is awesome! I usually hate looking at myself at hair salons but their lighting made it so I could look at myself without being disgusted. They also keep the door open so it doesn’t get too stinky as other places can be.
Tiffany did my hair, along with the help of a couple of different assistants. I wish I could speak Korean so I could converse with them; they all seemed nice. Maybe they could understand English but they were quiet and I was too sleepy to even try making small talk. Everyone is very efficient. A few were not the most gentle, but it wasn’t terrible.
The whole process took 4 hours. Shampoo, blow dry, application of solution (left on for 45 – 60 min), shampoo, blow dry, flat iron, application of neutralizer (left on for a shorter period), shampoo, hair cut, blow dry. Boy, I’m exhausted just writing the process… But totally worth it.
Make sure to use the bathroom before going in, and bring water because I wasn’t offered any. Good time to catch up on some reading. All in all, I’m very satisfied and will definitely return for this service again. Thank you HT for the referral. Now I just have to remember not to tie my hair or wash it for the next 24 hours…

Always a fan of Salon Tiffany! I got my annual magic straightening & lemme tell you that their prices are very competitive. It’s either $ 210 (for shorter/​medium hair) or $ 250 (for long hair). I shopped around before making my appointment & their prices are pretty low. They will accept walk-​ins & appointments no matter how busy they are. I noticed that they don’t turn down customers even though they are slammed. I got my appointment for the straightening on a Saturday at 10a. Took about 3.5 hours (I think it would’ve taken 3hrs on a slow day). They opened at 9a & they already had 3 other customers getting the same thing! Wow! They got the magic straightening down like a pro! Here’s the process for the whole thing:
1. Wash hair, blow dry, flat iron. You might have 1 – 3 girls blow drying & flat ironing your hair.
2. Apply crème. Leave on for 30 – 45 min I believe. They spritz your hair during your wait to set it in.
3. Wash hair, blow dry, flat iron.
4. 2^nd crème application. Leave on for 20−30mins.
5. Wash hair, blow dray, flat iron now optional, style & cut if you want.
DONE!
Style & hair cut are included in the price so take advantage if you wanna try a short do! You’ll love it & it won’t break the wallet too much. Tiffany & her crew are real professionals & treat their customers like VIP. Take some snacks & a movie or book when you get your treatment. They have outlets.

Salon Tiffany’s been a great place to get my hair done here in Honolulu.
I usually get a hair cut & color/​highlights about twice a year (since I don’t like to sit down for a long period of time in the hair salons), and I’ve been pleased with the service that I’ve been getting.
I ask Tiffany for the service when making an appointment.
She’s a wonderful hair stylist who works efficiently and pleasant.

I’ve been going to Tiffany for about 9 years. I absolutely love her and love the cuts and color jobs she has done.
If you are short on time, schedule last minute hair appointments and need somewhere affordable, Salon Tiffany is the best.
As a busy Mom, I love that I can schedule a hair appointment at a moments notice and get an awesome cut done in 20 minutes. Her assistants are fast and efficient. Everyone there works really hard and you don’t have to listen to any drama. They all laugh and seem to love working there.

I’m, just never coming back here ever again.

Good cuts! Fine styling. Good prices. Good people. I recently switched to Salon Tiffany and I am a happy customer. I go to Joni after reading the many good reviews. Joni is personable and she listens to my requests. She’s made me look good. I’ll be back.
The parking is great. Be sure to check out the back. It’s spacious and roomy.

Located, next to Kyoto-​ramen, of the McCully Shopping Center. Parking here can be a real hassle sometimes. They have parking underneath the building too.
When arriving, you are greeted by the hair stylists. there is also Korean music playing in the background. There is also a place you can sit, read a magazine and drink coffee that they offer you while you wait. They give you a nice message while he/​she washes your hair. My hair stylist, Jessica, always listens to what I want and does a beautiful job. She styled my hair after.
