New place just opened. I guess they have the chef from chibo in waikiki there cooking the food! Good and cheap ways means five stars for me! Try the monchong and corned beef cabbage!

I recently heard about Pioneer Kitchen which took over the spot of a Chinese takeout place in the Cunha’s Alley food court. I’ve been there 3 times now in the last week. Twice I had a little bit of everything which includes Chinese, Korean, local food, and salads with the menu items changing daily. That’s right, all of the menu items piled onto one plate, and for $ 7.29 it was a steal. Today, I had the soft tofu soup. It was spicy but manageable since spicy is right up my alley, and for $ 6.49, it too was a bomb of a deal. With food and prices as good as this, I just hope they stay in business!
