I was referred to this small shop for Haku bands and leis because of their fresh flowers and reasonable prices. How true that is! First of all, the ladies in there are friendly and very accommodating. I loved the items I ordered – Haku band and Pikake lei… fresh and VERY reasonable. Their prices would definitely rival those from the airport stands. I highly recommend them! :)

Love the ladies making the lei’s. Bought a single strain lei for $ 5. First I choose one with all plumeria then ask about the one with plumeria and tuberose and she recommend me on the second one because it’s more fragrant!

The ladies who make the leis are as lovely as the leis themselves, hard working, talented, and helped me choose the correct lei for the occasion I was shopping for. I would go back.

Pauahi Leis and Flowers saved the day. My daughter picked up her wristlet from another vendor and it was so ugly I had to find her another option and fast. Pauahi Leis and Flowers ended up making a beautiful clutch bouquet in a few hours. Just in time for Prom. And the price was the most reasonable ever!

We ordered bunch of lei and they made them so quickly! And very very cheap. Good quality. Street parking available in this area. It is easy to find a spot. This place is awesome!

Won’t be going back. Lovely flowers but rude to me. Seemed annoyed when I asked questions about the flowers or prices. Kept speaking Filipino and laughing… probably not talking about me but who knows?! Either way it was rude. There is lots of competition in their neighborhood. I will go somewhere else from now on.

Great selection of beautiful leis for the best prices on Oahu. I got some beautiful leis for my sister-in-law for less than $ 20.

By far the cheapest and best lei place to go to in Chinatown. It is ALWAYS open(even when the other places are closed). The Filipino grannies are always so accommodating too!

This lei shop is the best!!! The lady who owns this place and her family who works here are very friendly and easygoing. There are some places where workers bark at you if you try to look too closely at a lei… so not the case here! They are cool if you want to open the fridge to carefully examine the leis inside. They do a great job of choosing a ribbon that matches your lei, but if you prefer another color, they do not hesitate to accommodate. If you have your eye on a lei but want to grab some yummy lunch nearby first, they are happy to reserve the lei for you to pick up later. The list of little things they get right goes on and on! Besides the awesome service, the leis here are always super fresh. Although the selection may not be as large as some other lei shops, I never find the selection lacking. It really doesn’t hurt that their leis tend to be less expensive than other places. Annnnd, if you happen to be a regular, you often get an additional discount(depends on the type of lei)!!! I love how they treat you like family here!

Love this little shop. The ladies are sooo sweet. Picked up some loose orchids and they were so nice! Then I got an idea to give my little dog a lei for fun. I asked them how much it would be and they all swarmed together to make a lei for me for my dog, the teamwork was impressive. And then, when I asked how much it was they just said«no need» because it was such a tiny lei. I gave them money anyway but these ladies are so cute. Too bad the selection isn’t as great as some of the other lei shops in Chinatown. Still, their service and attitude beats all thes rest. I can’t stand all those rude vendors out there!

My favorite lei shop on Maunkea Street because the owner laughs when I make jokes. They have a television that is on and always tuned into Channel 4 — the Korean Channel. The owner is a nice Filipino lady and the workers are either family or friends and they all are watching K-Dramas in the afternoon. Me: «How much is the pikake leis?» Owner: «$ 4 a strand.» Me: «OK! let me have 3 stands. You ladies are always watching K-Drama.» Owner: «Oh Korean men are so handsome.» Me: «I’ve seen your husband. He is pretty good looking and looks like a real romantic.» Owner: «Ha! Ha! Ha! But he is Filipino good looking and romantic; not Korean good looking or romantic.» Me: «Ha! Ha! But your husband looks so strong!» Owner: «Ha! Ha! Ha! Filipino skin, Filipino looks and Filipino strong are still not Korean.» Daughter: «My mom is right! I’m going to find me a Korean boyfriend for myself.» Me: «Awe shucks! Not Japanese? Not Chinese or haole? Not Filipino? I know a single Korean guy that is perfect for you. He looks like Joo Jin Mo of Fashion 70. Here is my $ 12.00 for the lei.» Daughter: «Joo Jin Mo!!! We have a special today on pikake. $ 9.00 is OK!» Owner: «I’ve been trying to get my daughter married and out of my house for years. Joo Jin Mo!!! The pikake special today is $ 5.00 for six strands. Pssst!!! I’m looking for a Song Seung Hun like in East of Eden. Whisper: Married or single is OK!» This lei shop is owned by a cute and K-drama crazed, little Filipino lady and her family. Lei’s here are nicely made and the prices very reasonable. And if you are a good looking, single(or married) Korean male. Your lei just might be free!!!
