Papa John’s Pizza

Ok, just order a extra large pizza with pineapple, mushrooms, and the works… Hot, and really good… Now a local pizza place didn’t do PINEAPPLE!!! Are you kidding me… What state are we in???

Called them for a DELIVERY. Gave them all my info and one of the workers assumed I wanted it to be picked up. Why would I give them my address if I wanted it to be PICKED UP?!? Didn’t even bother calling us back that our food is ready. We waited in the rain for 1 hour. And I had to call them back just to ask about my order. That worker needs to clean his ears.

They don’t have Papa John’s in Thailand so I never got to try their pizza. Only recently our friend told us that they have a promotion on Wednesdays. You can order online and use a promo code to get a large specialty pizza for only $ 10! Promo code is 10WW. That’s more than 50% off the regular price! There is no excuse to not try them now. Just a note, you must order online to get that special deal. They will not honor the promotion if you walk in and ask for it.
I finished work and my bb called ahead to find out that we had to order online to get the deal. We did it on his phone and headed to the Kapahulu Papa John’s. When we arrived, there wasn’t much parking but luckily the valet moved a cone and we quickly took the stall. The location is very convenient but the parking lot isn’t so good. It’s shared with Wada so during the dinner rush, parking is tough.
The actual Papa John’s is clean and smells like pizza! They are very busy inside with workers making pizza’s, cashiers ringing people up and people answering their phones. It was constantly ringing while we were there. When we finally got to the cashier, they already had the pizza made and ready for us! It was so fast! I would recommend you calling in your order early or ordering online because they are busy. They also deliver if you want to stay home.

Pizza was delivered as promised in about 30 – 35 min. My hotel was about .5 mi from it though… Pizza was typical papa johns and was fresh. Would give 5 stars but pizza quality at papa johns overall has diminished over the years. So its not this locations fault the pizza is mediocre. Their just using what papa johns uses. Delivery driver called me when he was on his way which was cool too. He was super cool, very friendly. I got the 2 lg 1 topping with a 2 liter for 29.99. Thats about as cheap as your gonna feed a family of 5 here on Waikiki Beach! Will do again when/​if I return.

Way over priced pizza. 40 bucks for 1 pizza and cheesticks. Fees are crazy. I miss the old days were it was only like 5 bucks. This is insane to me. Pizza is ok. Cheese sticks are the best to me. People are pretty nice.

Ordered a pizza at work w/​a coworker. They had a Tuesday BOGO deal. I placed the order online and told them to call me when they are outside since our hotel doesn’t have parking. Received a call about 15 minutes later.
Very fast. Very convenient. And pizza was ono!
Also the delivery guy was nice!

Like any other Papa John’s in probably the country. I usually order with tomatoes and or mushrooms.

I love Papa John’s & I have NO complaints on the Kapahulu location. It’s closest to my home & I’ve created an online account with them to place my orders & earn reward points (love that) so I can get free pizzas. I always have my orders delivered & have never waited longer than 45mins. We tried the BBQ chicken wings for the first time tonight & OMG! Sooooo good! I would’ve been happy just eating that! Drivers are always friendly, food tastes great & delivered hot.

Ordered an XL pizza with spinach, olives and pepperoni and a pizza cookie at about 11pm two nights ago.
Both the cookie and the pizza were fresh and warm.
Easy to order & quick delivery!
Our order total was $ 28 but it was totally worth it!

Just got delivery! Ordered $ 6.00 8″ Meat pizza with 1– 20oz root beer + 1 — garlic sauce to make it $ 10.27 ($ 3 delivery fee…) I thought any pizza came with 1 garlic sauce so if thought id be getting 2 tonight but only got 1 garlic sauce… :(I guess their policy changed from before oh well. Pizza is still great as always!!! My delivery guy was friendly as well and gave a courtesy call to say he was right in the area!!!
The 8″ pizza was big for me I ate ¾ of it and was SUPER FULL!!!
It was a good deal to say the least :)

I would give them zero stars if I could. Unprofessional. Terrible food. Such a disappointment. I was tired and just wanted pizza, not harassment and garbage.

I hate to leave such a poor review but I can’t take it anymore. I’ve been a valuable customer for over a year and this is not the first time I’ve had a problem. The first time I sent in an email to notify them that the pizza I had received tasted like cardboard & our breadsticks are ALWAYS burnt. They were kind enough to send us complementary pizza cards although I had not asked for anything in return. THIS time our pizza took and hour to get to us because «they had to remake it» and when we got upstairs to eat our breadsticks were burnt AS USUAL and the pizza was literally all over the top of the box. Glad to say I will NEVER order pizza from here again. Please don’t even bother sending more complementary pizza cards. $ 30 in the garbage.

update — Papa John has really fallen in the 6 years since I wrote this — all PJs not just this one. Pizza isn’t even edible anymore. And no whole wheat option.

I thought it was great! Super easy to order online, and my pizza was here in about twenty or less minutes! The deals are great too, can’t beat a $ 12 large pizza! (On Wednesdays)

We ordered online & the pizza & service was good — they were here within 30 minutes & the fee was only $ 3.00. The delivery lady was real nice & friendly. Our chicken bacon olive garlic & spinach pizza was nom nom although I wish we got thin crust — it needed to be a little crispier for texture, but still good for non New York pizza heh. We got a side if chicken for $ 5.99 & they were so small & not worth it — McDonald’s nuggets are better & you get 20 instead of 10. Overall good experience pizza & customer service wise!

I’ve been here a few times before and never really had a problem. Tonight, I did a pick-​up order. I just called it in. Medium Island Style Chicken PIzza. Our Usual. The ordering process is very quick, no-​hassel. They said it’d be ready for pickup in TEN minutes! SUPer…
Got there and the pizza wasn’t ready yet, which is fine because it probably was only about 8 minutes since I called.
So after I paid, I was just sitting in the room waiting for my pizza. Sat there patiently for about 10 minutes… I finally decided to ask how much longer my pizza would be and the guy looked around to check. I’m so glad that I did. OMG! My pizza was ready and it was just sitting there!!! WELL HELLO?! Why would you NOT be wondering why I am sitting in the room waiting? Someone should have asked me WHAT MY order was OR have already know which one since I just paid for it!!! MB I am being too harsh for being impatient but SERIOUSLY, Why else would I be sitting in that room? I am very disappointed with the service and operations. I felt there was a lack of communication between the cashier and Pizza Expeditors.
PIzza. A-​OK as usual. NO real complaint.
BTW, at night, many of the stalls are reserved for valet for the neighboring restaurant. Can be an inconvience at times :(

I love pizza and Papa John is not too bad. I really like their website and the options for toppings you can add! I can make new creations and really make the pizza the way I want! And I really like their BBQ sauce!
They have a parking lot, and if it gets full there is an adjacent parking lot that I can park at. Though the adjacent parking lot is not for Papa John’s.

Okay so I know this is not a restaurant but I just wanted to give a little piece of mind. When in the world did pizza get so expensive?! $ 26.49 for a large specialty pizza… Say WHAT?!
I got The Meats and The Works which were both just… meh. But look at the works
is that all the toppings for a $ 26 pizza? Thank goodness my friend gave me a carry out card (which gets you another pizza of equal or lesser value for free), which is usually for various fundraisers.
If it wasn’t for that delicious clog your artery sauce I think I would pass on the pricey pizza and get some CPK! I think I would give 2 stars. but the sauce bumps you up to 3.
