The pizza is simply amazing. Reminds me of the large NY dollar slices with more variety and complementing flavors. The staff is extremely nice also. Definitely returning and nice to have a neighborhood business where you can feel comfortable around the staff like when you did as a kid with your neighborhood grocery store.

Lovely decorated shop with seating to relax & a vintage turntable to play music. She cut the vegetables in front of me as they went on the pizza! Doesn’t get any fresher than that! Delicious!

Was very dissapointed that the slice I got was so bad. Sauce is not flavorful, crust is bad, and burnt and there’s way too much of it. Was hoping to have a new pizza place closer to home but it was a no go :(I would’ve given two stars, but your place lost one for not being an Ocean Friendly Restaurant. The world can’t take another 100yrs of our human consumerism, and your use of Styrofoam to-go containers is bad. Please consider the environment in your business choices. Hawaii is the #1 consumer of eps foam and it is THE most toxic form of plastic(and we put food into it?!?) and less than 1% is recycled. In Hawaii recycling isn’t an option. You know what works great for wrapping slices of to go pizza? Butcher paper… and it is far less expensive.

Pizza was ok. Fresh toppings and hot. Slightly bready crust. Nothing special. Wait is long 20 minutes or more for our slices ordered off her menu — not custom. Nice lady but the ambiance in the shop is weird and it’s small inside. Don’t order a smoothy. I had the matcha tea and it was gray and tasted weird. My husband and kid had the mango ones and my kid didn’t want to finish it. Sorry, won’t be back.

This place just opened up on Kapahulu after having moved from another part of the city. The space is small and it’s not air conditioned(which I find to be a real turn-off.) But for grabbing a slice of pizza or a sandwich to go it’s hard to beat. I had the king’s slice, which was huge and delicious for only $ 6. I added the side salad for $ 2 and was surprised to find it contained several kinds of lettuce, and tomatoes. Far better than the typical«half a head of iceberg and some peppercinis» salad that you find at most pizza joints. I haven’t tried a sandwich yet but they sound great and I’ll add a follow up review when I get the chance. The operator(who I assume was the owner) was also very friendly.

I love to order from King’s Pizza for our staff lunches. Corrina has great customer service and always delivers on time! She also makes great Salad’s! I have never had a complaint from the staff here and they are always happy to have their pizza from King’s Pizza! They are now in a new location which I have not yet to visit. But will be going to check it out next week! I’ll be posting another review after this visit!

So driving by saw their sign next to tree. It a little hidden(except for big pizza flags) Kings pizza is in back of parking lot of Auto X-Change. Since Ala does not have pizza in food court and I was not gonna go to CPK, I walked over with my son. The slices are fresh made and big. They are moving to 746 Kapahulu on 31 Dec 2015. The pizza is tastey worth checking out and supporting local business. Had to edit from 4 stars to 5 after eating pizza, go here try it will not dissapoint.

This review is solely based on the environment of this pizza place. It’s in a small little lot next to a car dealership. There’s a lot of young kids hanging around in this parking lot. Many of them must use drugs or deal because I couldn’t help but over hear one of the workers ask the teens sitting out front if they had just smoked a bowl. Umm, what??? not to mention, one of the customers were sitting out front and having the loudest conversation of her life. Maybe she was trying to act bad in front of others, but whatever it is, it’s a bad look for the business. The customer was scolding someone on the phone for owing her«$ 50» repeatedly saying«pay up», «I let you borrow this money and you’re going Christmas shopping but can’t pay the money you owe. You better pay up.» I was very annoyed because no one needs to hear that type of nonsense. I even heard a potential customer say«that place is ghetto with all those teen punks hanging around,» & He literally turned around and ushered everyone that was following him back to their cars and said lets go to La Pizzarina(sp) instead. Smh. Please do something about the loitering, because you will lose out on people who want to try something new but get turned off because of the environment. Therefore, losing out on potential loyal customers.

As we were leaving Taste Tea tonight, I noticed a bunch of people hanging out on the side of the lot. I never noticed it before and wanted to check the place out. It turned out to be King’s Pizza. I found the names of their pizzas quite interesting. They have the Kings, Queens, Kingston, Diamond Head, Waikiki, Pali, Kapiolani, Kalihi, and Keeaumoku. It would be too long for me to list every ingredient for every pizza, so see the picture below. I got the Waikiki, which is their BBQ chicken pizza. It also comes with olives and onions. I’m not an olive person, so I told them not to put it on my slice. They actually let you mix and match your toppings to make your own pizza. It’s $ 5 for any slice and $ 20 for any whole pizza. They must make it from scratch when you order it. It took us 10 – 15 minutes to get my slice. When I got it, I noticed that the slice was huge and cut into two pieces. The crust was thin and crispy. The BBQ sauce was divine. However, there was about 5 small pieces of chicken on that slice. I also noticed that it was the store bought grilled chicken. The pizza was Ok, but definitely not one of my favorites.

So I decided to walk over here on my lunch break. I didn’t want pizza I wanted a salad and their menu(pics from other Unilocalers) mentioned a chef salad with potato salad. I am a saladaholic! Lol. I could salad everyday for the rest of my life. Now on a typical chef salad here usually is: ham, turkey, cheese, mushrooms, olives, maybe onions. When I got back to work and opened the togo box all that was staring at me was a crap ton of spinach, sliced ham, mushrooms, olives and slices of onion(with huge chunky pieces that I will not be eating) and ranch dressing on the side with no lid! Good thing I was only walking other wise if I had rode my bike it would’ve been all over the place. Pretty disappointing when you are expecting something better and I should’ve guess by how light the container was. Oh and no potato salad as the menu mentions. Grrrrrr. Their pizza is good but I prob won’t order a salad from here again unless they can make it the right way! The location is kind of weird it’s in the lot next to a car place. All the different types of pizza are prominently displayed but the other menu items are hard to find. Kind of displayed on multiple signs all over the place. Having an actual menu with all the items would be nice and paper copies as well for those who do take out a lot!

Stopped here during a lunch break on a whim to try the affordable $ 5 offerings. One of the first things you notice at King’s Pizza is the shockingly disorderly storefront: dirty, beat-up stools and tables around a single window with no singular menu. I counted 9 different signs with menu items scattered around, three of them for pizzas and toppings. What gives? Make one, easy-to-read sign and update that so I know exactly what you offer. At the very least, consolidate pizza items into one place and specials into another so that you can change them with ease. Figuring out an order shouldn’t involve a scavenger hunt. Also worth mentioning is the wait. I was the only person there at lunch, and ordered a single slice. I waited half an hour before asking if my order was almost ready, upon which one of the two chatting ladies rushed back to check on things. 5 minutes or so later, my order came out with no explanation, so I don’t know if I was forgotten or if that’s the normal cooking time. Good news everyone! The pizza was delicious. The crust was crispy on the bottom and substantial without being doughy. Lots of cheese and toppings, scarce amounts of Spinach but lots of everything else. Not very much sauce if that’s important to you, but I didn’t mind. There’s an extensive list of unique toppings like capers, artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes, so that may be worth exploring. In short, minus one star for wait time and minus one for National Treasure menu. I would love to try again, but seeing as my lunch break is limited to 30 min(I was late of course), I won’t be trying that again soon.

Kings pizza is the absolute best – broke da mouth as they like to say here in Hawaii! Each Slice is made to order and comes out piping hot. Looking forward to eating here again when I get that pizza craving!

Little gem of a place tucked away behind a car dealership on Kapiolani blvd. I only decided to recently try it out because my office building is across the street and one of my coworkers raves about the place. Decided to grab a quick lunch and Check it out. $ 5 slice pizzas which is a big piece cut in 2 and you can choose among many different combinations. You can also add $ 2 for small side salad with it. I thought it was pretty good and I got full with that slice so not a bad price for lunch. You can also have ice cream in a cup with a piece of brownie for $ 3. Pretty good deal there. I’ll definitely be back because of convenience but because it’s good as well! I heard there open to pretty late so make a stop after the club!

Down and dirty good slice of pizza. Not a clear or clean area infront of the place. It used to be Cutter car lot and is still kinda a car/tinting recycling place and car wash. Pizza by the slice or by the pie. Decent taste– not too gressey and not tooo pricey. I would not cater my wedding with King’s Pizza but will stop in when my car is getting work done which takes longer than expected. Better than Pizza Hut not as good as Unos in Chicago. Kids love it though. I’m boring and go straight for sausage pizza. Again– fresher than Pizza Hut.

Location is in a parking lot. Difficult and discouraging to find. XLarge is now 20. Still alright for Waikiki. But the smells… once you get here… oh so good! Pizza is cardboardy, very dry, tin, but okay for Waikiki I guess since I can only compare to what I had in California. Fed me for today so goal met. Note: most reviews are 5 star partly because if you post a Unilocal review and show it to them, you’ll get a free root bear float.

First time here and have to say, not bad. They give you two slices that are good size and they say it’s a quarter of a whole pizza, for $ 5. The lady was there fixing the sign and greeted us very cheerfully as we walked up to window. She told us that there were free unlimited toppings. Wanted to take full advantage of that but felt bad ordering EVERYTHING so just got the Kings pizza and only added like two more toppings. Seating is small but it wasn’t that busy so service was not that bad only waited like 10 – 15 min for our pizza after we ordered. Will come back again and take advantage of the toppings offer. :)

Kings pizza is the only place that lets you chose your own unlimited toppings and they wont charge extra, no matter what you want on it! Anchovies, spinach and sriracha pizza? They will do it! All pizzas are made to order and it doesn’t take long at all. Recently, the parking lot resembles a prison… And it can be hard to see from Kapiolani, but they are still there.(Same parking lot as taste tea and auto exchange) They open for lunch and dinner, and close for a ‘siesta’ between 2 – 5, so don’t go during that time. This is a walk up and order type of place, theres a little outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Its not a dine-in establishment.

So let me state upfront that this is only three stars because I’m in Hawaii and it’s next to impossible to get a good pizza here, i.e. a mainland two star is a three or four here. Anyways got a pizza tonight and nothing to brag about. They got my order wrong(right toppings but missed half and half) and were slow on delivery but my kid liked it(and she’s picky on pizza). Would put it above Boston Pizza, Costco, and any of the fast food chains. On the pro side hard to pass up the price, free delivery, and portions plus end of the day the pizza was edible if not bland. Will repeat but mostly for convenience and price, not quality.

Honestly, it’s pretty much impossible to find this place because there’s a construction site in front of it and it’s at the back of a parking lot behind a million cars that are being fixed at a mechanic next door. So, it’s hiding. But, the reason for the 5 star rating is the super-nice personal service from the woman who served me tonight, and the quality of the pizza. The prices are set: $ 20 for a full pizza with unlimited toppings(yay!), or $ 5 for a giant slice. That keeps things simple. I went for the King’s special, which she said was the most popular. I took it to a church potluck and it was well-received, to say the least. This place is definitely worth taking the extra effort to find, next time you are in Honolulu.
