O-no sea-dat-food?! It was love at first bite. Although parking can be a major pain in the butt at times, when you step into this tiny hole in the wall you will forget all the road rage you had getting to this place(unless you were lucky to get parking). The portions are decent for the price but it leaves me satisfied. I’ve only tried their Spicy ahi and Shoyu ahi and I normally get brown rice so I feel less guilty when I head to the gym to work it off. then head back for more! It’s nice that if you purchase a bowl, a drink is included. One tip I have is if you’re planning to buy a poke bowl home, have them separate your rice and poke. It makes a huge difference! You don’t want your poke cooking on a bed of hot rice. It happened to me once. and it wasn’t enjoyable. Wasn’t anyone’s fault but my own.

After having some poke from Ono’s every place else just doesn’t compare anymore. Portions are a good size and the poke is always so fresh and flavorful. There’s also other things in the big ridge besides poke like edamame which my dad and brother really loves. Parking is kinda limited and tight but even with this problem, it’s still worth it to just wait it out for a stall. I usually don’t like waiting but once I’m set on Ono’s I really want it lol. Oh also you get a drink along with your plate, depending on what you choose it could be free or it could be a dollar more. I usually come here before or after a hike or before heading to the beach. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s just so fresh and well the name says it all, it’s really Ono! Haha

I blame Ono Seafood for my recent poke cravings. Ever since coming here, I’ve been wanting poke bowls weekly. The place truly lives up to the hype so if you’re from out of town and visiting, I advise you not to skip out on trying this place. I ordered the spicy ahi and hawaiian ahi over brown rice. Both were absolutely delicious but I almost want to say that I preferred the Hawaiian ahi over the other. There was just something so crisp and refreshing about the flavor!

Their claim of «The Best Poke in Honolulu» should be «Best Poke… period». Ordered 3 Regular Poke bowls(smallest size at $ 7.50 each) based off popularity(literally, it says«popular» on the picture menu on the wall) with white rice. I’ll rank them in terms of how much I liked them: * #1 Shoyu Ahi * #7 Spicy Ahi * #3 Haw’n Style Ahi You cannot go wrong with picking several since it’s so freaking cheap! Absolutely delicious!

It was surprisingly difficult to limit our order down to just 4 types of poke when we visited Ono — everything sounded so utterly perfect, and being the major poke-fiends that we are, it was hard to say no to anything. THEHIGHLIGHTS. + Some of the freshest, most delicious poke I’ve ever had + Massive menu(tako poke, shoyu poke, lomi ahi, spicy ahi, and more!) — Parking is going to suck. It’s a small lot with people who are not great at driving. Park elsewhere and walk. ~ It adds up quickly, but the quality is so completely there and worth it ~ Only two small tables out front(that were taken the times I went) We didn’t come back as much as I wanted due to a) inconvenience of location and b) the desire to try EVERY poke place possible, but Ono holds a solid place in my heart.

One of my favorite spots for poke. The poke here is fresh and so affordable! You can get a regular or a large, but just get large! It’s a steal at $ 9 for a bowl and a drink! Quality food at an amazing price! My favorite was the spicy ahi! It’s a spicy mayo sauce! Don’t forget to grab some seaweed in the fridge! You can’t eat poke without seaweed. Seriously a must spot on Oahu!

Ono. Ono… Oh no! You were closed when we first arrived on the island during New Year’s time! but that’s alright. because we came back on 1⁄6 right when you reopened! :) Oh Poke Bowl. Oh Poke Boowl. Hawaii is definitely on point with their poke bowls and my East Bay self is super jealous. I got their #1 shoyu poke and #2 tako poke on brown rice(no additional charge!) and they were really good. I thought the tako poke was not as good as the ahi, but that’s probably just because I love fish! The second time I got their #5 Haw n’ Style and #7 spicy poke on white jasmine rice and it was still AMAZING. They got some chili seasoning on those poke too so they are super flavorful. If I didn’t have to fly back to the mainland, I would have tried their other flavors too. Free small drink with your poke bowl for around $ 7.50. Super reasonable and worth every penny. A must go when you come to Hawaii!

Honestly the BEST poke on Oahu! This is my go to place on Sunday’s after I go to the gym. Been coming here for a while actually, but slacked on the review. :P The parking lot is relatively small with marked stalls for Ono seafood customers. They share the same parking lot area as American Savings Bank. Since I come here on Sundays, the bank is closed and parking isn’t too bad. I always get the same thing, Regular bowl with white rice… combo of spicy ahi and Hawaiian styled ahi poke. Yuuuuuuuuuum! They also put a little bit of shoyu(soy sauce) on the rice to add more flavor. Don’t forget to grab a can of juice or bottle of water BEFORE you order your poke bowl. It just makes the line flow a lot better. Regular poke bowl with two choice combo AND a drink for $ 7 is such a good deal. There’s two picnic like tables outside of the restaurant if you would like to eat there, but I prefer to either eat in my car or take it home to enjoy.
