Good variety of burgers and sandwiches with a Hawaiian flare. Nothing worth stopping by though. It is regular food court quality food. If you do go there then do get the tater tots. They were greasy but relatively good.

Yum– Yum-Yummy! They have some good burgers! The meat was juicy and not heavy on your stomach, thanks to grass fed cow. The bun is nice buttery soft sweet bread that compliments the burger well. The gravy sauce(loco) I added to my mahalo burger made it a messy but oh so good finger licking meal. I haven’t had a good burger in a long time.

I love that they use local grass fed beef. Already a plus in my book. I had the fish sandwich and my husband had the loco moco burger. Both were HUGE and luckily we only prefers one combo, because it was plenty enough fries. The loco moco concept for a burger is excellent, but it was insanely messy. Make sure you get a ton of napkins(I had to get more and I saw another couple doing the same). The fish sandwich was freshly fried and really delicious. For a food court restaurant, I’m sold.

Easy to find with convenient parking and welcomed with ALOHA! Our family ordered everything on the menu and was not disappointed. The rolls and buns were soft and fresh, and my favorite was the chicken swiss avocado… DEELISH!

This was the only food court option that had a 4 stars average. We actually walked away when we saw the Unilocal reviews on the other fast food restaurants. We came back for the second time and I found this burger place. Loco moco($ 6.95): delicious beef patty sandwiched between the sweet buns. I like my burger like I like my man. Sweet bun and juicy meat. The meat was nicely seasoned and cooked. Fries: not too thin and not too thick. They were semi good. Onion rings: okay, honestly I didn’t care for this. Go to the food court second floor of Royal Hawaiian shopping center and turn left. They give you a pager after you place your order. QUICKTIP: FREEREGULARFRIESWITH UnilocalCHECK-IN! 4 stars! Mahaloha Burger is yummylicious!

This place is in the food court of the mall. The guy taking our order was very nice. We came just at lunch time so it took a little bit to get our order. We got the Loco moco burger, banzai bbq burger, and the bacon wrapped hot dog with our free check in fries and a mango tango smoothie. Super good! Definitely worth a try.

Thanks for sending me here Unilocal.I was looking for something simple and reasonable. Let’s hope it lives up to your reviews, Unilocalers! Had the chicken, Swiss, and avocado sandwich with fries. Good portion size(big!) and good flavors. Was a nice break from all of the beef I have been eating! Good service too; friendly and gave good suggestions. Would come back again.

Really great burger joint located in the new upscale kailua. The restaurant itself is really clean and modern. Lots of seating available to either outside dining or inside. There is even a loft with two big screen Tv’s playing the surf channel. So the feel and ambiance is really nice. However I did notice that the music was very inconsistent to the theme of the restaurant. I heard Jawaiian music to straight up indie. Not a fan of Jawaiian Music so I would stick with one music genre. I did notice while ordering their is a touch screen photo booth that was cool. Not sure if it was free but a cool touch especially with the influx of Japanese tourist in kailua recently. Can’t forget the food! It was great, many different selections to choose from and menu makes it very easy to order. I like how they have beer on tap and other drinks to choose from like shakes and smoothies. I thought my burger was great, in my opinion better than Kua aina less expensive and not sloppy like Teddys. Even their fries were really good and had different options. The only thing I would change would be the customer service. They need to be a little bit more excited. They didn’t give any suggestions and remained silent as I ordered. Also I struggled to carry my food up to the loft which they didn’t help me with.

I wasn’t expecting much since this place is in a food court but wow what a great burger. i also have to say they validated my parking and the service was excellent. Both the Malhaloa and Teriyaki Burgers were excellent. I got the 1⁄3 lb and I am FULL. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. ill be back.

This place is ono. The staff is very friendly. I got the Mahaloha burger and it came with free fries, when you use the check in. The burgers are huge, could not eat it all. Sweet deal! Will definitely come back again.

I had the third-pound Mahaloha Burger and Fries. The burger was rather large concidering that it is the smaller of the two sizes offered. It consisted of two patties, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. This burger is a step up from your average fast food burger, but not quite a «gourmet» burger. As for the patty, when I ordered it I was asked how I would like my burger cooked. I was suprised as I was expecting a more fast food burger that would be cooked«as is», so I ordered it medium-rare. I was so excited as burgers should only be cooked rare or medium-rare. However, the burger I received was well-done. I figured it was not worth sending back and the burger was not bad, but I am deducting a star for getting my hopes up and not meeting expectations. Atmosphere. What can I say, it’s a food court. Value is there. My burger cost not much more than a franchised food chain burger would in Waikiki. Oh, plus free fries with a Unilocal check in. Ok, they get the star back. Service was prompt and friendly. They also give you a buzzer so you can go find a table while you wait for your cooked to order burger. The wait was short. I’ll be back.

This place serves up delicious food at decent prices when compared to the rest of the restaurants in the food court. I ordered the loco moco burger and upgraded to a combo for fries and a drink! My wife tried their hot dog both had local grown meats! I checked in to receive the free fries but forgot to show it when I paid– boo! Be sure to show it to the cashier immediately as they can’t do anything afterwards. The loco moco burger was damn good as the egg yolk bled and mixed well with the savory gravy. The roasted garlic and onions added a great flavor! The fries were just perfect and fit well as a compliment to the entrée. The hot dog was good and comparable to a costco dog– simple yet filling. I’ll be back for sure and will try something new to apply my free fries! Lol This place is centrally located in the mall and is easy to get in and out of. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Mahalo! Thanks for serving great food!

It’s been hot lately! Okay, after a day of hanging with a gaggle of Australian friends at the Canoe Club., I’m lingering in Waikiki playing annoying tourist! It’s an hour past lunchtime and I need to eat… Stat! Hey! I do recall there’s a food court at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center! There’s also a burger spot there — so a burger it is! Not the absolute best burger, nor was it the absolute worst burger in the world. Somewhere in between. If I was both judge and jury, it would be a hung jury, but leaning in favor of… MAHALOHABURGER! I honestly forgot to write this review since it’s been well over a month. Yet, over the weekend I turned on the morning news and saw our beautiful Emi H. who reminded me with a segment of this local burger joint! I do like that it’s locally owned and operated and if it means anything to all you feminist out there… I believe female owned! In fact, on my stop I only encountered women! Not like I’m complaining! The two front-end employees were women and when I asked about the *Yelp Check-In and get FREE fries with your order deal* the cashier looked confused when I said I wanted that deal but upgrade to Sweet Potato Fries… In fact, she didn’t know! Yet, she was nice enough to ask the woman in the back about the upgrade — not sure if she was the manager, but was nice enough to come out front to tell me in person that it was okay. Plus, if I recall, only a dollar more. Not bad at all! So, now with the *Yelp Check-In Deal* in my back pocket I go ahead and order the… — LOCOMOCOBURGER: 100% Beef Patty cooked to medium with Crispy Fried Onions, French Mayo, topped with Egg sunny-side up — covered w/Brown Gravy! I believe the Patty is Big Island grass-fed Beef! — SWEETPOTATOFRIES: The Okinawan«Purple» Potato deep-fried like an order of regular French-fries! — ICEDTEA: I chose the sweetened Iced Tea that came with the«Meal Deal»! It hit my thirsty spot! When all was said and done this«Fred Flintstone» type of meal tallied about a tad over $ 10, if I recall? Remember that’s for the burger, a fountain drink, and upgraded side! Not a bad deal — cost wise! My verdict? It was good, not $ 300 Serendipity N.Y. good, but hey I’m not paying $ 300 here! It’s good and messy, but in a good messy way! Might want to request extra napkins if choosing that Loco Moco Burger! Flavor was on par with Teddy’s, if I had to compare. Yes, I recommend… MAHALOHABURGER! It definitely fed me well! The burger, a good portion of fries and a full sized drink too! If in the Waikiki area(there’s one in Kailua too) I would return! $ 10 and change for a full sized meal deal? In outrageous Waikiki? Taste good too? Yup to all the above! Oh, did I mention the condiments? That’s another bonus… I was given three types, I recall the ketchup, a pineapple chutney, and something else — sorry I forgot the third one, but will say the pineapple chutney was like a mini-dessert by itself! Oh… Lastly… This place is a play with the Hawaiian words of «Mahalo»(Thank you /Appreciation) & «Aloha»(Love /Hello /Goodbye)… OVERALLGRADE: 4.0-STARS!(Solid) UnilocalREVIEW #468/500

Mahaloha Burgers is situated in a food court inside a shopping mall. Which means there’s lots of noise, plastic tables and seats, and just general chaos and unpleasantness. We took our burgers to go, and went out on Waikiki beach to sit and eat in the comforting sound of the waves. I got a Chicken Katsu burger which was _really_good. I’m not much for the standard applesauce they give you, so I took some ketchup with my sweet potato fries. The burger was great, so was the fries, plus the short interaction with the staff at the counter was pleasant and hassle-free. Burger, fries and a coke was about $ 10 dollars, which I was happy to pay. Great service, great burgers, above average fries, but unfortunately in a bad location. Take your tasty burger to go — and you’ll have a great meal!

The use of grass fed beef got me ordering burgers from Mahaloha Burger. The Teriyaki burger w/onion rings is what I ordered, while the wife had the Mushroom burger w/sweet potato fries. Yay! I’m a new fan of Mahaloha Burger! Mahalo :)

We went to the Kailua location on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. We wanted to try something new other than our regular burger joint, Teddy’s. It wasn’t busy while we were there, just a few customers. We were able to enjoy the atmosphere while we sat and waited for our meal. The décor was cute, themed to the Hawaiian culture. Nice and clean. They had upstairs/downstairs dining as well as outside seating. I ordered the chicken avocado swiss with fries and my bf ordered mahaloha burger with fries. There was also a choice of potato mac salad for your side or you can pay for the upgrade and get tater tots, sweet potato fries or onion rings. Omg!!! Both our burgers were super juicy & delicious!!! A bit messy but super good. The portion was a great size, filled us up. The fries were also tasty! It’s almost dinner and I’m still full:) The price wasn’t too bad, around $ 10 for each meal(burger, side and drink). I have to say, this is our new favorite burger joint hands down. If your looking for a good burger, try this place!

Not a bad price for range fed beef and fries that are not fried in canola oil… rather healthier oil… hopefully local potato not imported GMO. They also have tent at events like Spam Jam seem to be good people girls wear flowers in hair and say Aloha. Better than Viet Cong food next to it or the MExican with lard in beans or Panda Express with their msg. Worth a few extra dollars but not Teddy’s Burger yet.

For a food court joint, this spot’s surprising good! Their Katsu Burger itself deserves 4.5 stars. It’s the perfect portion, breaded and cooked so well that the tenderness of the chicken is really complimented by the ultra crispy exterior. I’d come back just for this item. Their buns are a bit on the thicker side, some prefer it that way ;). Teriyaki burger was just okay, just another burger. Nothing really stood out to me about it. Top bun was a little greasy, and the complimentary fries(from checking in on Unilocal) were only aiiigggght too. Tasted pretty stale and flavorless. Great price for the location tho, I must say. Worth a visit for their Katsu Burger.

I recently went here for a take out dinner at 8pm. It’s located in the Royal Hawaiian food court on the second floor. There are so good options here, from Vietnamese, Hawaiian, Maui tacos. I was in the mood for a fish sandwich so I saw that there’s a salmon burger on the menu. I ordered fries on the side. Total price was $ 10. Salmon burger was tasty and nicely dressed with a light mayo sauce. Tomato, lettuce, and a soft bun(it was somewhat sweet) made a great meal. Oh, and kudos for the steak fries!
