I used to come in here Every week(sometimes 2−3x a week) when I lived in Hawaii and lunched @ Vietnam Café(which was about 3x a week). I couldn’t really afford too many things except a couple of bags or wallets from the Matt & Nat collection(my fave at that time). It wasn’t until i moved to SF, made more money, vacationed in Hawaii… that I could actually afford the bags and accessories here. I know. Ironic. BUT this place has Great little finds, beautiful accent items, fun accessories and great customer service. *love*

I love this place! ok, it may be true we all cannot afford everything in the store, but it’s a great place to get lost in. Allen, the owner, is simply fabulous! He’s got a good eye for unique home furnishings and décor. You can find great lamps, accessories for yourself and your home. Go there when the shop is having a good sale. I scored an awesome, unique beach hat for $ 50! Marked down from $ 250! He’s recently been stepping it up for First Friday too. Go check out the«live mannequins» he has in his windows on each FF. Hi Caleb! :) They have been serving drinks too while u walk around in the store. Allen was also talking about making the place a quasi-bar to have a few drinks on non First Friday nights. I can’t wait to see what he is cooking up. The more spots in Chinatown, the better!

This hidden treasure provides great style in the least expected location, Hotel St. Vases, lighting, china, fabric & home accessories topped off with jewelry & bags. Get your Om on w/a Buddha or Ganesha statue, support an African artist who makes incredible flower shaped tea cups, indulge in nature inspired sterling silver jewelry from the local up & coming contingent, buy your Vegan friend a new handbag or pick up some skull accessories for your desk. Shop owners are passionate, very cool and so helpful. This place ain’t cheap but is reasonable. You can easily find a gift here at all different price points. Don’t go in for the first time on First Night because its madness, you want to have some time to really browse & look at everything.

I love walking into stores like this. I usually can’t afford everything I see but it sure inspires me on how to decorate my home. Again, another shop to find unique gifts and cards. I was attracted to their handbag collection, but more so to the cute little print wallets. My husband liked this weird-shaped vase? No surprise there. All in all, it’s a nice stop to get away from the Hotel St. ambience and enjoy a few minutes of refinement.

If I had enough money, I’d buy every single thing in this store. For now, I’ll have to settle with window shopping.
