Café Hula Girl has moved to the Waikiki Landmark, 1888 Kalakaua, near the intersection of Kalakaua and McCully. The atmosphere is still island casual, but less kitchy hawaiian. The food is still good, and for waikiki very reasonably priced. A great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. They now have a liquor license, so its a good place for a pau hana cocktail as well. There are a about 4 tables inside, and another 3 out on the terrace, plus a small lounge seating area in the middle of the café. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Its also the cheapest place in Waikiki to log on and check your e-mail. They are working on wifi capabilities as well.

The wraps alone are a great reason to visit this place. At times they have live music. The owner sometimes works and is pretty chill, nice guy. While the café is located in a weird, mini-mall type of place, the inside is decorated pretty cool. It is like old school Hawaiiana/Hula style. Definitely a chill location to grab a snack, and the prices are decent.

I’m surprised by the other 5 star reviews. We ordered a couple of hot dogs to go, so maybe the experience is a little different if you eat in. The food was not at all hot, and when we poured mustard on, a million ants came along with it. Needless to say, I didn’t feel like eating my hot dog after that.
