This is a popular lunch spot for their salad bar, which is arguably the best and maybe only of its kind Downtown. The French dip is also good, albeit pretty rich and a little on the salty side, just be sure to get the dipping sauce that goes with it(one time they ran out). They have other sandwiches and a breakfast sandwich special that sounds similar to an Egg McMuffin, but probably healthier.

AMAZING! The Turkey Bacon Avocado is so amazing, very much worth fighting the bad parking situation in the garage to get to! The chef here is great and so friendly. They are great for catering business meetings and events, very easy to work with. I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed!

I was in downtown to take care of errands and stumbled on a little treasure inside a food court at tapa bldg. The quint restaurant is called carrot patch and their food is very good and the staff are friendly and fast. Food was reasonably price and they have various sandwich specials that are excellent. They also have regular local breakfast menu which I will try next time I’m in the area.

This was my last resort place to get a breakfast. Greeted by cashier Nick, I’m not sure whether he is the owner also. The two ladies that cook, NO personality, NO greeting, NO thank you just«What are you having.» Seems that they pick & choose who they would like to give good customer service to, or if that’s what it’s even called from them. They«bark» at Nick to get something THEN talk in Filipino to each other all the while giving him the stink eye. REALLY? If you do not like to work there and/or give good customer service you need to quit. Customer service brings me back to a place that is well deserving of my hard earned money. Reason I stopped coming back to this place awhile back. Today I thought I’d give them another chance. NEVERCHANGED. But, my omelet was decent. Don’t think I’d give them a 3rd chance though. Get NEWGOODCUSTOMERSERVICE individuals PLEASE who will enjoy their job. I MISSMANGOGRILL!!!

My husband goes to school in the same building, and I always wanted to try their sandwich. I got BLT and strawberry smoothie. It was old fashioned sandwich and taste very fresh. I got to choose the bread from several kinds, and also what I wanted in my sandwich, so I got to built my own sandwich. My auntie got ½ sized Avocado sandwich and there was so much avocado in it, and it was tasty. I mean, a lot of avocado in it, so if you like avocado, you can‘t miss this! We also got Cream broccoli soup. I think it was today‘s soup special and very creamy. The ½ sized sandwich and the soup filled her up! I got strawberry smoothie but since it was good, I will try banana smoothie next time. We only paid $ 16 include tax for all of these. So I will def. come back again. The workers were very friendly, and I think they are the perfect ‘quick, grab and go‘ types of sandwich shop!

in my opinion, this place is a total rip off. Unilocal, please add a no-star option, special for places like this. $ 9 for a pastrami sandwich — actually a soggy mess with very little meat or cheese that is wrapped in plastic the moment it comes out of the press, so it’s well stewed in its own sweat rather than toasted. the menu is an incomprehensible jumble. on the one hand, under ‘paninis’ it refers the customer to check the chalk board for the daily offering. chalk board says ‘$ 8 pastrami and cheese’ — then they charge a surprise $ 1 panini press surcharge on top of that. the menu also says a variety of lays chips is available(separate charge and not included with the sandwich) — but really they only have plain. i think that this was the worst meal i’ve had, with probably the lowest value relative to price – by far – since i started working downtown. carrot patch — you fooled me once because i like to try new places and support small businesses. shame on you. NEVERAGAIN!

Prices are insane! Previous owner was awesome and prices were fair. Workers also seemed much happier. Walked in today and prices increased again! Unbelievable. Fyi — they charge more for egg whites! When asked, it’s because it takes a little more time to take out the yoke! Unbelievable! A boiled egg is $ 1.00. Go to Bins(directly accross) its .75! Banana, $ 1.50…Bins $ 1.00! While looking at the menu and deciding what to get… worker there said«…I don’t have time standing her waiting for your order!!!». I was shocked, I just immediately walked back out. Never again giving this place my business!!!

Today I got a turkey sandwich. Taste-wise it’s pretty good. If not for what happened, which I will describe below, I would have given this place at least four stars. Turkey sandwich is listed on the menu board as $ 5.75, which I think is a little pricey for just a simple turkey sandwich but ok, at least I was able to get sourdough bread. Next to the prices there was a kind of a «how to order your sandwich» list – choose your bread, your meat, your cheese, your veggies, mayo/mustard. So, when I ordered my sandwich, I told the person making my sandwich everything I wanted, including swiss cheese. I also asked her if she had onion(which wasn’t listed on the menu) and she said yes. When I was ready to check out, the cashier told me my total was a whopping $ 7.07. I’m not a math genius but I know that’s not $ 5.75+tax. I told the cashier that the menu listed the turkey sandwich for $ 5.75. The reply I got was that the cheese and onions both were at an additional cost(50 cents for each). This is baffling considering cheese was on the list of how to order your sandwich without an extra cost noted… and typically cheese is included. Also, really, 50 cents for just a little bit of onion?! I could’ve gone to Subway and gotten a full meal including chips, drink, cheese, onions, even more veggies for the same price. I just paid it and left feeling pretty shitty. Look, if you want to charge extra for things, that’s fine but put it on the menu or at least tell the person ordering that it’s an extra charge when they request it. I feel cheated and ripped off. I know a dollar isn’t a lot of money but it’s just not cool to sneak in extra charges.

Don’t be surprised if your breads for BLT sandwich is not toast. They will charge $$ extra if you want it toasted. So unheard, BLT always made with toasted breads. Where in the world!!!

My sandwich was very good — it was today’s special — tuna and avocado. Also had the vegetable soup. Very disappointing — weak tomato broth with cabbage. I’m not kidding, the only vegetable was cabbage.

Very happy with Carrot Patch and their regard for good old fashioned customer service as their food was always very very good, and fresh. Sandwiches, bomb. Breakfast, bomb. Salad bar, bomb. Service with a smile, word! Much appreciation for this small business in downtown with many regulars like myself for considering the whole«wear gloves» thing. It’s really great to see and I commend them for staying«in the game» with such a minor adjustment affording them a grander payoff over the long term. Thank you Carrot Patch because you guys are adaptable and awesome. Support local businesses and take care of the aunties making your sandwiches.

The Carrot Parch is one if those little places you find inside the lobby area of a big commercial office building. The owners are there everyday and are super friendly and make you feel welcome. But the reason to come here is there Wiki-Wiki Breakfast Sandwich. It’s a soft sandwich but with a fried egg, cheese and your choice of ham or bacon(I like the bacon). There may be a light sauce or some sort if seasoning on it because it’s delicious and taste way better than a simple sandwich like this should.

Carrot Patch is a great grab and go shop. I like to stop in for breakfast because they are fast and cheap! They are known for their wiki wiki sammy which has egg, cheese, and your choice of meat, which they are very generous on the serving! They also make fresh omelettes that you can customize to have spinach, mushroom, cheese, and bacon or ham. They always have a lunch special on a sammy and soup of the day!

Finally got to try the Wiki Wiki breakfast sandwich with Ham… Nice size sandwich with lots of Ham inside! However, the Ham was a little too salty for me… Overally, experience wasn’t bad. Because it is so close to work(and because I have heard good things about it), I would definitely come back to try the Wiki Wiki bacon sandwich and try their lunchtime sandwiches… Cheers!

This place has been around for as long as i can remember. I was working in downtown in 2001, left and moved back into town in 2013 and they were still here! I’ve always had the breakfast Wiki Wiki and it’s a cheap affordable winner. You can either get it with bacon or ham, I prefer bacon. Think breakfast sandwich. It’s got egg, cheese, the breakfast meat and a little mayo in a toasted sesame bun. I’ve never had the other things here since this is my fave but I’ve heard from my co-workers that if you’re looking for fast and cheap then this is the place to go to. They have sandwiches and a salad bar for a healthier option. Next time you’re in downtown or if you work in downtown, make sure you grab a Wiki Wiki from the Carrot Patch!

Carrot Patch is located downstairs in the Topa Financial Center. It’s a great place to come for a quick breakfast/lunch for a reasonable price. Here’s my faves: — Wiki Wiki — breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and ham — Mushroom/Cheese omelet — adds a great seasoning to the eggs/mushrooms so it has great taste to it! — Turkey/Bacon/Swiss sandwich on sourdough bread — they have lettuce, tomato, cucumbers and sprouts and will put everything in your sandwich unless you say otherwise. They also have a salad bar that is very reasonable and they charge according to the weight of the plate. Very standard and simple. Most people do take out here but there are a few tables/chairs if you’d like to eat there.

One of my favorite places for for breakfast downtown. I always have the Wiki Wiki, which is a scrambled egg, cheese, and your choice of ham or bacon, for under 4 bucks(its on a bun). Good grab and go thing to eat — and true to its name, its FAST. They wrap it in foil so it makes it back to my office still piping hot. For lunch, they have an assortment of sandwiches(all freshly made with REAL meat, not the processed crap) and soups(one of my favorites is the chicken wild rice). They also have a salad bar, which is a rare find, chock full of healthful options. Good place to go if you are trying to eat healthier.

There is a reason why I always see a line out the door of this place, even though there are multiple sandwich shops in the Topa building and around downtown. They know how to put together a good sandwich. I always get the turkey-avocado on whole wheat. They load a chock full of turkey onto wheat bread, load you up on battered avocado, then douse the thing with veggies and esp. alfalfa(which not many places use). Deli sandwich making is an art form, and no, not the sandwich artiste kine art form. The execution is precise each time. You want a good, solid sandwich for $ 5+? Come here. The soups are good too. Prices are good all around. Find out about what you’ve been missing.

Lately I find myself hitting up Carrot Patch at least once a week. It’s a quick grab-and-go shop inside TOPA Financial Center, which is super convenient for me because I work on the 20th floor. The friendly ladies who work here make great breakfast bagels, omelets and sandwiches. The food is really simple, but reliably good. There’s also a wonderful serve yourself salad bar filled with a lovely assortment of fresh fixings. The prices at Carrot Patch are reasonable and the portions are perfect — satisfying and not too big! I’m a big fan of the egg white omelet and the veggie sandwich on whole wheat bread. There are a few tables inside, but they fill up quickly at lunchtime. I usually take my food back up to the office or out on the rooftop to enjoy some mid-afternoon sunshine. Give Carrot Patch a try someday — they’re great!
