Bingo Tea

My friend and I regularly shop for groceries in Chinatown and one day we stumbled upon this tiny smoothie/​bubble tea shop on the corner of 555 Market! Long before it was open we had seen them constructing and putting the place together, and when they finally opened I just had to give it a try!
I ordered a peach smoothie with Boba and holy cow my taste buds were in heaven! It was like a peach bomb went off in my mouth! I wasn’t watching the time they made my drink, but I wasn’t expecting much from such a small shop that was part of a housewares market… Once the juicy Peach flavor touched my lips, I knew I’d become a regular here. I turned back to watch them make someone else’s order and saw they were using all FRESH FRUITS! When she ran out of something she’d run across the street to get more fruits or yell for someone to bring some over! I was shocked! Most smoothie/​bubble tea places these days use powder flavoring or pre-​cut/​canned fruits… Not here, WHOLE fruits, FRESH from the stand are cut in front of your eyes and blended to icy perfection! The Boba used was also the perfect chewy consistency and slightly sweet in flavor.
Now for the second best part… The price! $ 2-​$ 3 for any of the daily specials which include milk teas, ice teas, and smoothies with Boba or jelly!!! The cup sizes are large and well worth the minimal price! I’m surprised they make any money it’s so cheap! I think they might be partnered with the fruit/​veggie stand across the way, which is how they keep their prices low and everything fresh! Service is friendly but theres usually only 1 person behind the counter. It takes a bit longer since she hand cuts everything fresh, but it is soooooo worth it!
I’ve been here a few times now and was surprised to see they didn’t have a Unilocal page yet… I thought about keeping the place my own little secret but it’s way too delicious not to share! So if you’re ever in Chinatown, stop by and give your taste buds a treat to remember!
