This was a fun stop my BF& I made twice during our little stay-cation in Waikiki. It wasn’t that busy, so our servers were attentive. Drinks & music were good, but the pizza was just alright… i think we had a pepperoni pizza & it was just something to munch on while having some drinks. There’s a pool table, dart boards, & a dance floor… totally different from the establishment it used to be ~ Nick’s Fish Market. Clientele seemed mostly like tourist, with a few locals, as in «just moved here a few months ago» locals.

This place sucks they had 1.00 premiums advertised on Mondays so we paid $ 5.00 for parking only to find that they had changed there menu with out changing there bar ads they had signs up all over that said $ 1.00 premiums Bait and switch sucks. When we pointed out there signs still said 1.00 rather than offer us a limited amount of drinks or even one at the posted price they just quickly started pulling the signs down.

My 5 star rating comes from the simple fact that their prices are great, the staff is awesome, and they have pool tables and dart boards. My co-workers and I work down the street and we love coming here to unwind after work. If you are in the F&B industry definitely check this place out. They offer a 20% discount just because you are in the industry every nite of the week and on Tuesdays its half-off for industry people. Even if you aren’t in the industry their prices are cheap especially for Waikiki. Marshall, Lisa, and Kristin are the best! The only gripe I have is that they need a bigger selection of food but the pizza does the job in a pinch. They also have DJ’s on weekends and a decent size dance floor.

Staying in a hotel nearby, we walked in to Bambooze thanks to their big sign of $ 2.75 Mai tais and Blue Hawaii’s during Happy Hour.(basically before 8pm). After the beach, those Mai tais and Blue Hawaii’s tasted great. Given they did have a bit less alcohol than I would have liked, but no matter. Bartenders were pretty friendly, and the gf and I started up a great convo w/another Canadian tourist. Basically, the whole thing was quite pleasant. On our second stop here within 3 days, we didn’t expect to drop in. But being a bit tired heading out at 8pm to spam fest, we again saw the sign outside, this time saying $ 4 jäger bombs at 8pm. It was definitely a calling to drop in to recharge the energy. Dropped in and again, no problems at all, quickly got our drinks, paid, bombed them, and left — it was great. With tasty drinks and being a pretty friendly atmosphere(and not to mention friendly on the wallet), I wouldn’t mind making this place the watering hole for whenever I’m in Honolulu :)

Great cheap drinks, never over crowded, friendly bartenders, and a pool table + darts. Often times they have a DJ plain’ some schwanky up-beat tunes and there’s a place where you can dance. Great pre-game/night cap!

After realizing the Manager who was taking our order reeked of booze. We decided this place may be a bit iffy. After that my girlfriend walked up to the bar to order us BOTH a drink where the bartender proceeded to ask her«For 2ID’s» Since when do you need 2ID’s to order 2 drinks? Than the muscle shirt manager came over called my girlfriend«bear» and proceeded to harass us. He has no manners and tried to hide the holes in the wall! Watch out for the rotten fruit with flies circling their fruit bowl(the same fruit they put on your drinks)! My girlfriends mom also saw a cockroach, I am pretty sure the Honolulu Restaurant Inspector would not approve!

Happy hour from 2pm-8pm: $ 2.25 for a Mai tai, blue Hawaiian, or draft beer. The drinks are pretty weak, but it’s cheap. I would not pay full price for those drinks, but maybe they make them stronger at other times. It’s dark in there even during the day, but there’s NBA on the TVs and a full bar. It’s pretty spacious, but it’s totally empty during the day, which is probably why they do the happy hour specials.

I have come here a few times with my roomies on our way home from Waiks… cant beat a walking distance watering hole, right? Anyhow…this review is somewhat lackluster only because I was really disappointed during my last visit. On Saturday, I was calling around to all of my local sports bars… in search of a place to watch the Pacquaio — Marquez fight. Everyplace around was full or charging a ridonkulous cover(Rivals was charging $ 20…GTFO!!). I called Bambooze and was pleaseantly surprised to learn that they were totally gonna show the fight and to come on down at 4pm to get a good seat! BAM! It was on like Donkey Kong! Got ready… head out for the 4 block walk… Upon arrival, everyone inside was talking about the BJ Penn loss… BOOHOO… predictable It was now 4:25pm and they were still showing UFC on all the TV’s in the bar. I head to the bar and ask the ‘Tender when they were planning to show the Pac_Marquez fight. Nope, we arent showing that tonight. Sorry! WTF? Oh well, got my Happy Hour beer(which was supposed to be $ 2.50 for a draft) and she charged me $ 4.50 instead. I should have considered it an omen of things to come…

Eh. I was not impressed. We are always looking for cool places to chill have a cocktail and play pool. This place seemed inviting, but if you are not willing to have the daily special(I don’t do mai tais and blue Hawaiis), drinks are kinda expensive, and weak. Playing pool in a fishbowl(big windowed area) is kinda unnerving too. Don’t think I will be back unless I see some pricing improvements with heavier pours…

We love this place. Our hotel is right down the street and it has served us well many times. When we head to the beach it is great place to stop for a pre-game cocktail. Their prices are beyond reasonable, they are downright flipping cheap as hell! Especially during their happy hour. Also they have pool that is usually always available to play and darts, tons of TVs and it’s never crowded. It seems like a local bar and less like a tourist bar, but very welcoming. I would really recommend this place.

Its a cool bar to go to if you want to hang out. It actually has quite a bit of space and isnt as cramped as some other bars. Theyve got deals going on everyday of the week. Please see the picture I posted for a list. They do have«bar food» available. I went in looking for a friend but stayed to have a drink. The thing with this place, the bartender didnt even thank me after I left a decent tip during industry night! BOOOOO!

They have some pretty big TVs, a pool table, three dart boards, and awesome happy hour deals EVERYDAY! From 2PM-8PM every day, they have Mai Tais and Blue Hawaiis for $ 2.50. The bartendress made em pretty strong :) Also, some other select(cheap) draft beers were $ 2.50. On Saturdays, they have $ 4 Jäger Bombs. That is all you need to know. :)

Outstanding bar, family atmosphere with some of the greatest bartenders in Waikiki …and by family atmosphere I mean the regulars and the bartenders are all like family. Although next year I plan on bringing my daughter here for her 21st birthday

Cool new Sports Bar where Nick’s Fish Market use to do business. Here are the current Daily Drink Specials: Monday — Monday Madness, $ 1 drinks(excluding specialty cocktails and beer) Tuesday — Service Industry for Yellow and Blue Card Holders(50% off tab) Wednesday — $ 3 any and all drafts Thursday — $ 3 you call it! Friday — $ 4 any and all teas Saturday — $ 4 Jäger Bombs Sunday — $ 3 Coronas and Gold Tequila This is the newest bar in Waikiki! It is a cool«no frills» sports bar! This is the kind of place you come to visit and socialize and watch sports. Of course partake in some drinks! You won’t find chicken wings, gourmet pizza or club sandwiches here! What you will find are cheap drinks and a chip rack and the occasional frozen pizza that is baked in their bar oven! To keep you entertained, there are four TVs around the bar. The bar is rather large and can accommodate around 20 patrons. There are other bar stools in the lounge area that I am sure you can fit in the bar area if it gets crowded. The TVs are all large HD flat screens. I was told that they do offer Direct TV as well. There are two lounge areas on either side of the bar that both have a couple HD large screen TVs as well as pool tables and three dart boards. There is a TouchTunes juke box and an ATM in the lounge area as well. The bar has nine draft beers on tap and a full bar. Most of the drinks on the regular menu run between $ 4 and $ 7. I did not see anything above $ 7 and of course there is a Happy Hour which runs from 2pm to 8pm daily and offers $ 2.25 Mai Tai, Blue Hawaii and mugs of Bud and Bud Light. They have a daily rotating drink special throughout the week. The current hours of operation are 2pm — 2am! I am sure the hours will change as soon as football season starts! During my visit, there was only one bartender and she was pretty attentive. There is no actual service outside the bar, so if your beverage glass runs empty make sure you stop at the bar to get you refill. The crowd was a mix of locals and a few tourist who were mostly visiting while staying at the Waikiki Gateway Hotel where the bar resides in their lobby. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this new bar and was very happy my experience occurred on a Monday night. Not too many people can say that they got drunk from spending only $ 5! By all means I highly suggest you check this place out! It is a good starting point since it is at the beginning of Waikiki!
