This place is a local neighborhood gem. I always find what I’m looking for and at an affordable price. I like supporting local business and am a big fan of sustainability. There’s a few up-cycled frames here for whatever your basic needs are. The owner can cut glass, matting and frames. Stop on by next time you need a frame :)

I have know Larry for a few years. We have hired him on quite a few occasions to frame works of art at the last minute and with quick turn-around. He has never disappointed and always comes through. His suggestions of frame materials is always right on-the-money too. A friendly man with a great heart that will produce the work needed on time. How can you get better than that? If you are framing, please send him your business. You will be happy at the result!

Took two things in to be framed. One of them was a T-shirt signed by a surfer that had passed away. He told us that he could fold the T-shirt(because the frame was deep enough) after suggesting he cut it to fit in a smaller frame. We were adamant about him not cutting the shirt. Under no circumstances was he to cut the T-shirt. Went to pick it up and he had cut the T-shirt. He was irate and argued with us and then proceeded to yell at me in front of my children. Not good.

If you are looking for perfection in framing, this is the place. Larry the owner is fantastic. He is persnickety and perfect at the same time. The right combination if you have high expectations. He also has a very unique conversation so get ready to be intrigued when you walk in the door. His work is worth the price.

The guy who greeted us was nice. He said 50 for a leftover frame, and 100+ for a custom made frame, the other guy came out suddenly and in a matter of seconds my quote when from $ 50 to $ 120,due to his attitude, inconsistency and lack of kindness with the other guy I felt attacked, not by the art for sure! Debut y despedida. Does anybody know a framing place for mortals?

Love this place! Had a last minute piece I wanted framed the same day and Larry took the time to take my pic in. He even finished it in a shorter time than expected! Frame came out perfectly fitted to my awkward sized picture! Need n e thing framed??? Go see Larry!!!

If there were 10. Stars I would give them. Superior work and a fair price and the recipients were ecstatic with the two framed items. So pleased was I with the results that I dropped two more projects off today. Everything that has been done for me is archival quality and I received excellent suggestions that made the finished projects even better. Pictures Plus is ok for common stuff, but if you want high quality, Art Attacks is the place to go.

Larry delivers quality work and is a genuine good person. After my first art show he called to see how it went then gave me suggestions about the art business in Hawaii.

My mom wanted to get custom frames for 2 of my grandpa’s paintings. They were similar paintings of the same flower so she wanted to make them the same size and hang them side-by-side. Unfortunately, my grandpa hadn’t painted them on the same size canvas so we spent over an hour with Larry because he had to figure out the exact measurements since they had to be cut differently to fit in the same size frames with mats. They were ready sooner than the estimated time we had been told, which was great, but when my mom went to pick them up they were different sizes! Larry argued with my mom and would not admit that he made a mistake. He did offer to re-do the job, although we don’t know if he was offering to do it free-of-charge because it wasn’t mentioned, and my mom declined because she didn’t want him touching them again. When she got home and we took a closer look, we also realized there was still glue on several of the edges/corners of the frames, as if they hadn’t been cleaned good after being put together. The frame job wasn’t horrible by any means, but the customer service could’ve been better. Good thing we had Living Social discounts to use and didn’t pay full price!

Just got an abstract picture of Diamond Head by Rick Lawrence for work and everyone keeps commenting on how beautiful the picture looks!

My girlfriend went here to have a personally meaningful piece of artwork framed and matted. Being new to the process of custom framing etc. neither of us were quite sure how to go about it. While getting started the man asked her«so how much do you think this is going to cost?» She said«to be honest I’m really not sure.» to which he replied, «well you’re probably just a school girl and you just don’t understand how things like this work.» I found this to be very rude, presumptive, and downright disrespectful. If you like good customer service, get your frames elsewhere.

Blondie the cat often greets customers as they come in the door of this friendly gallery and frame shop. Owner Larry Foster keeps a large assortment of frame and mat materials in stock, and all work is done on location. Sometimes mats are cut while I wait, which gives me time to play with the cat. Prices are reasonable and shop employees are pleasant and easy to work with.
