Received a gift certificate from this establishment so went in to use. After purchasing(shame on me I did not check the balance when I signed my card) and checking my credit card bill I discovered the full amount of purchase was charged to my card. Yes, I have the items I purchased, but they have my $ 25 gift certificate so my $ 34 purchase actually cost almost $ 60. I live in Honoka’a and I guarantee I will never go back to this store or ever recommend it to friends and family who visit.

We were looking for t-shirts everywhere and finally went with their very soft, very organic, bamboo shirts. Yes bamboo… and yes, *very* soft. A bit more pricey than what we were looking for but Michelle was *awesome* helping us out. Too bad they are closed on Sundays I would have loved to go back and look at the other items she has there… perhaps tomorrow. :)

Found Big Island shaped Koa wood earrings here! I’ve been looking everywhere for this style and to have found them in Koa wood? Bonus! The shop owner was extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. We will be back to Christmas shop for one-of-a-kind Big Island gifts for our family on the mainland. Aloha!

Came across this store on our last day on the island. The owner was SO friendly! I mean, granted, everyone on the island was nothing but kind to us but this gentleman was a great conversationalist and kept me entertained during my whole shopping experience! If that weren’t enough, this shop was the ONLY shop on the island that sold locally made hot sauce and that was the one thing I was looking for the entire trip! I picked up a Ghost Pepper soy sauce from Big Island Peppers and it is so good! I put it on nearly everything! If you are looking for locally made products, definitely stop by here. 10⁄10

We stumbled on this wonderful store, a big change from your average tourist souvenir store. We bought a Kao cutting board for our host and ended up with a bracelet for me, earrings for our cat sitter and soap for her and my BF’s assistant. The help of the owner allowed us to get al the things we needed in one space and everything was made locally and was wonderful If you need great gifts to bring home or for you, stop by. You will not be disappointed.
