This is an extraordinary little restaurant with original recipes using locally sourced produce and meats. The food quality and prices are exceptional, the host and hostess charming, and the setting and artwork truly unique and high quality. If you are in the area, this is a dining option that is not to be missed.

This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in years! Amazing experience, amazing food, people, atmosphere. Very, very unique and a nice surprise to find! I had thought all along that it was an art gallery only and was very excited to discover a very cool restaurant inside (along with an eclectic art gallery). The food is interesting, delicious and fun! Vegetables from their garden, Indian dishes, vegetarian dishes, meat dishes … something for everyone! The desserts are the best we’ve ever had — we usually order one of each and share! Definitely try Willow River Café’ — you won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Honesdale. The food was excellent and the décor fascinating, with sculptural pieces, paintings and large photographs all done by the proprietors. Service was friendly and personal and prices were reasonable.
