I stopped in this little gem last night. I was greeted at the door upon entry as my eyes landed on the fresh lobster tank in the middle of the room. As this was my first time there, I took my time walking around and browsing. I settled on an order of Pierogies(cheddar and potato) and a large package of marinated chicken, or at least what I thought was chicken. At checkout I was given some cooking tips by a nice older gentleman«You cook it on the grill, 8 minutes each side, medium heat». I inquired about how they made their ribs, which I will be purchasing tonight, and then made my way back home and prepared dinner. Upon opening the package, I’m am no longer sure I bought chicken as I removed a large sheet(approx 1 – 1.5ft long, 8in wide, 2.5in thick) of some kind of bird. The place does sell Ostrich and I may have purchased that by accident. The packages are only labeled with the date that they were packaged. Regardless, I cooked this bird on my grill for 8 minutes on each side at medium heat ;) Two minutes on each side, on my searer(it barely fit) and then 6 minutes, each side on the rest of the grill. It was perfect! I was so thrown off by the bird that I forgot to cook the pierogies but I’ll have those tonight with the ribs. Now for the long and the short of it. Great Selection, Fresh food, Great Service, I thought it was a bit pricey($ 20 for«chicken», $ 6 for Pierogies) but in retrospec my family of 4 only ate half of it meaning my whole meal cost me around $ 12 and I’ll make another meal out of it tomorrow. If you haven’t stopped in yet, what are you waiting for?
