Love, love, love it! Small little old time diner in a pharmacy with good ol’ greasy American breakfast! Everyone here is über nice and if you come in often enough they will know you by name. My daughter asked gentleman that got us our drinks how the waffles were and he said excellent that he made them himself and sure enough made her one and brought it over. Everything we have ate here is delicious! You have to look past the area and come in here. This is definitely a hidden gem in Homestead. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Breakfast here was good! Biscuits and gravy like my mom used to make! The wait was a tad long, but it was a holiday weekend and once we were seated things moved quickly. Definitely an interesting spot!

Loved this place! Son is in the Air Force there and he took me here. Reminded me of the way things used to be. The cook was a «Soup Nazi» from Seinfeld episode. He was a great cook but the waitresses were afraid of him. I had the breakfast waffle sandwich. Service was amazing! Find this place and eat some great good with small town feel.

I don’t understand why other reviewers are so «baffled» by a diner being in a pharmacy. They were so common in the 50’s and 60’s. Walking into Royal Palm is a true piece of history. Today’s generation needs to put their cell phones down and look at the authentic photos on the wall to capture the«epic» experience. Every time we come to visit our friends in Homestead we have breakfast here. At 10:30 on Saturday morning, on NASCAR weekend, we waited approx 5 mins for a table for 6 people. Not bad at all! We love the food! My favorite is the Eggs Benedict. The hollandise sauce is very good! This past weekend I had an egg & cheese sandwich with shredded hash browns. I’m not a fan of the pancakes, seems like the batter needs to be sweeter. My husband always gets the meat lovers omelette with the home potatoes and is very happy with the hearty breakfast, that keeps him full until dinner time. The waitresses are nice but quick and efficient at the same time. Don’t expect a lot of small talk during the rush. The bus boy, Billy, is always on point refilling drinks and taking away plates. We love him. We haven’t been for lunch or dinner, but we’re hooked on breakfast.

Royal Palm Grill & Deli is essentially a standard American diner located in a pharmacy. I tried the Country Breakfast, which included Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. The food was good and fairly priced but nothing overly special. Overall, it is a decent option for breakfast if you happen to be in the area.

Good food, good service, good prices! It is an OLD building, like REALLY old so it looks rundown and dive-y but look past that for a great breakfast! If the oldness or dive-iness of the building bother you, then head down 4 blocks to their newer location. You’ll still get the good food:)

Superb Breakfast!!! Well that’s all we’ve had but it simply is scrumptious. Home potatoes, coffee and breakfast sandwich a must. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a small town out of FL. Please try the Pancakes super thick and delicious. A must eat restaurant !!

Not too many of these places left. Real good food, friendly staff and taste of old Homestead.

I’m really disappointed with how this place has changed over the last 20 years. Food is still pretty good but the services staff has repeatedly been rude to customers almost every time I eat here… I work directly across the street and did not come here for 2 years after a waitress was rude to myself and the random guy next to me at the diner The loyal bus boy is over worked and treated terrible by his fellow staff members. It’s a real shame Was an enjoyable environment

So a breakfast place in a pharmacy, is not something you get quite often. Seems like a crazy idea, what’s even more crazy is that the food is crazy good! Fantastic place for breakfast. The omlette, waffles and coffee were fantastic. The pancakes were okay. For the price, and a good morning breakfast, this place nails it down. Very kind staff, quick service, good food, what more can you ask for. Verdict: Perfect stop if you are heading to the keys.

Never realized there was a restaurant inside Royal Palm Pharmacy until I came across the reviews on Unilocal. It definitely feels like a retro diner with the black/white checkered floors. Feels odd sitting at a booth looking at the bedside commodes on display while you eat but it adds to the old charm of this place. The food was delicious. I ordered the cinnamon French toast with strawberries, a side of bacon and a cold glass of OJ to wash it all down. Looking forward to trying their other dishes for lunch. (Breakfast is served all day)

Great home cooking! Super busy so the service was a little slow. We had to wait on coffee and silverware. The portions are huge. The frittatas were awesome and you have to try the Frosted Flake drench toast!

I would eat here again. Recommended if you are in the area. Veggie frittata was delicious. Friendly service was a little slow with coffee and water. General hygiene behind the counter could use a little focus. Within range for a dinner. Value was good.

This place is cool! Definitely the only diner inside a pharmacy that I’ve ever been to, but it has been there since the 1950s so they’re obviously doing something right. That something is the food. It’s standard diner fare, but it’s done right. I had eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns, and even though I’m usually more of a lunch person when it comes to diner food, this stuff was good. It really hit the spot after a late night of partying at a nearby wedding I had attended with my girlfriend. Be prepared to wait a few minutes during peak times, but there are lots of tables and the line moves pretty fast. Service is fine and prices are reasonable. Bonus: You can pick up an elevated toilet seat on your way out!

Diners are not too popular in South Florida, so finding this spot was like finding a hidden gem! I enjoyed the small town feel of the restaurant, the old-school knick-knacks lining the walls behind the counter, and the friendliness of the staff. The food was good and I enjoyed a bacon, eggs, and cheese with home fries. My brother had 2 eggs, side of toast, and hash browns. Between the 2 of us our check came out to about $ 17. Great prices! It’s a casual spot and great for families. I would definitely recommend this establishment f you are looking for a low-key, no fuss type of place!

This place is the proverbial hole in the wall. You know, that greasy spoon, that ma and pop joint, your favorite diner. Now, I got the wrong thing – because I am super picky about chicken-fried steak. It was good, but if you’re anything like me you need mashed potatoes to go with that bad boy(YOLO) and… unfortunately the mashers they serve here are instant. If that still sounds fine to go you, by all means. Next time I am going to gorge myself on their«fish and eggs.» It looked amazing. The house fries look epic but were just ok. To me, they need to be extra crispy and even after I asked they were still undercooked in the middle. I’ll for sure go again.

This place is the only place that is original Homestead before the hurricane Andrew hit. Coming here takes me back as a tween when I use to walk home from school to stop and get a glass of water or pack of bubble gum. The food is still the same… GREAT! With little seating and moving area, I look pass that and come for a late breakfast on a weekday. Their omelette is AMAZING, along with the biscuits. If they weren’t so packed all of the time on a weekend I would come here. Glad to know they have opened another location down the street. The food here is southern comfort. I love the fried okra. My cousin loves the frittata. Come for either breakfast or lunch for specials or for just anything else. Trust me you won’t regret it!
