Best Buy

I have been in this store many times and every visit is great. The employees are also very knowledgeable and are able to answer every question I have. Today my husband and I went in to buy a new router. The store associate Robert helped us and was excellent. He answered all of our questions in a way that us not being so computer knowledgeable could understand. Every time I have walked into this store needing something specific but not sure exactly which item to get the employees are able to help me decide. This is why I always return to this store.

I would advise that nobody shop from this particular Best Buy, and avoid Best Buy in general if at all possible. On ⁷⁄₂₆ I made an online purchase for a store pickup of a laptop. I then confirmed the availability, and was told that the item was in stock and there was no problem with the order. Hours later when I wanted to pick up my order I was told that the laptop in question had been sold to someone else (after I placed my order). The manager (Gian Carlo Gambone I believe), refused to match the price on a comparable item. He told me that if I wanted to guarantee I actually get an item I order I should buy it in store, and not online (this is 2013). I will take my business back to Amazon or Newegg for all future tech related purchases as Best Buy is still the retail nightmare it always was.

Understaffed.
Hate going there.
Have to wait for help guaranteed every time.

All the workers like to flock to one location to talk.
when you need help, they glare at you because they want to talk to their friends.

This Best Buy is so close to my house that I could walk there but I don’t. The CD selection is not as broad as Jack’s Music in Red Bank but they have lots of computers and accessories. They do lose a star for the additional holiday traffic that I am currently dealing with and their computer sales folks are not as knowledgeable as I would expect.
