I am addicted to this place thanks to my Doordash application. I have ordered the Harvest Salad– which is apart of the big salad menu. I love the dressing and fruit combination; they also give a side of toasted bread. My only annoyance would be that the lettuce for the salad aren’t cut in half. WtH I have to cut it before eating.

I used to boast about how good Tender Greens was, and frequent there for lunch(however, at the West Hollywood location). But I’ve been very disappointed the last few times I’ve been to the Hollywood location. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken, and asked for all white meat chicken. I assume this means that they will replace the dark meat with extra white meat, but I’ve received the smallest portions of meat ever! I just finished mine, with mashed potatoes and tomato soup instead of salad, and I’m still hungry. For what is a $ 16 meal, I expect much, much more than this. Very disappointing as of recently.

Such a great place! The staff is all very courteous and the upkeep of the place is great as well. The food is really good. Great post workout meal! You have to find street Parking at this location by that’s pretty normal for the area. All in all great spot to grab a healthy and hearty meal. Oh yeah they are pretty quick too!

I LOVE ‘Tender Greens’. I go almost every week and LOVE so many dishes. The food is so HEALTHY and delicious. The steak, tuna, chicken, spinach, POTATOES, squash, GREENJUICE, and vegan desserts are FANTASTIC. The customer service is EXCELLENT, and the staff is always so polite. I daydream about eating the ‘steak’ & ‘tuna’ SALADS every week. Tender Greens is my home lol!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. For those that don’t want to read any further DONOTGOTOTENDERGREENS! Lyfe Kitchen is a MUCH better breakfast /lunch /dinner alternative on Santa Monica and La Brea next to the Target shopping center for a much more reasonable price. I really hate writing bad reviews but here it is: My office of 20+ people has been ordering Tender Greens for lunch quite regularly for the past year and we’ve decided to stop purchasing lunch here. As someone who has had their takeout lunch and picked up large lunch orders from their location I have a few issues which directly relate to the food quality and poor upper management. 1) For an organic eatery their cuts of meat are unacceptable. I’ve probably had over 100 meals at Tender Greens and every time I’ve gotten bones in my chicken, steak and chicken which was overly fatty and small in portion. I understand its expensive to raise livestock organically but to give customers«meat» where half the portion is fat is deplorable. 2) The last meal I ate at Tender Greens was the Happy Vegan and ITHAD A LIVINGCATERPILLARINIT. Yes, a living bug who when I discovered him was eating part of my salad. I don’t think I need to explain why thats not acceptable. We’ve also had another employee who got tin foil in a salad. 3) Placing phone orders is impossible and from other offices I’ve talked to many people dont even order lunch from Tender Greens for this reason. They do not answer their phone in a timely or professional manner and immediately put their customers on hold. I was placed on hold for such extensive amount of time so many different times — 15+ minutes — -it eventually became a joke at our office when someone was put on hold for a long time— they were«Tender Greens-ed» 4) The upper management does a poor job managing their staff. Its very evident they are understaffed during busy lunch orders, and while all their workers try to put on a happy face you can tell they’re stressed out and I sympathize with them because no one should have to work under those conditions. 5) Every order. Not one, not two. But EVERY order I ever picked up from Tender Greens was incorrect or omitted multiple meals we had ordered. Errors I think could be avoided if they had more staff to check orders before they were sent out. 6) I may be stating the obvious here but given the quality, and the amount of food that come in their hot plates and salad. The prices are EXTREMELY over priced. The lunches they serve would go for $ 10 at any other location in Hollywood but because they boast about being«organic» and«healthy»(how a piece of bread slathered in butter and roasted potatoes drenched in salt and butter can be considered healthy I’m not sure) they can justify high prices. Unfortunately we wont be coming back, and I personally don’t have any desire to give my money to a business with such poor food, and such poor service. Lyfe Kitchen it is!

I haven’t eaten at Tender Greens in years, but a friend wanted a healthier option for dinner. We phoned ahead for pick-up. Parking isn’t easy around here but fortunately, with two of us, my friend dropped me off to get our food while she circled around. Our food was pretty much ready by the time I arrived. A staff member also double-checked that everything was in the bag before handing it over which I appreciated. I really enjoyed my SALAMI and KALE salad!

I was here for dinner about 3 weeks ago and the food was amazing!!! I had the chipotle bbq chicken, mashed potatoes and the sweet potato mole! My total was about $ 12.00 and that is a great price. I only ate half of my food and was full, so they give you a good portion. Totally recommend!

I really loved the healthy food served here and the high quality service. Everything was delicious, so much so that I went back up for 2nd’s. They get busy during lunch so be sure to come early to avoid a very long line. Try the falafel — really quite tasty! It is nice having a healthy and delicious option to break up all the burger joints.

Yet another time where one picture on Unilocal drove me to a restaurant. We saw a picture of their fried chicken with kale and it looked so delicious, so the rest was history. That picture did not let us down. The fried chicken was juicy and the kale salad complimented it perfectly. There’s a Tender Greens up in Northern California, but they still haven’t been able to match the quality from this location.

My favorite organic salad restaurant. The salads are always so fresh so tender. I always get the tender greens along with the grilled vegetables and the soup of the day. Something else I really enjoy is that every salad comes with a piece of garlic bread and the garlic bread enhances the flavor of the salad.

Tender Greens is your standard healthy entrée style chain restaurant that offers fresh ingredients and healthy cooking. Primarily known for their salads, they do have several different options for entrees that are both hot and flavorful. Like many fast/slow food restaurants today Tender Greens offers counter service where you get to view your items prior to and during purchase. Similar to Lemonade, I feel like Tender Greens differentiates itself by more subtle seasoning and more finesse. This location is pretty much in the center of Hollywood chain land, stuck between a Starbucks and The Melt. The room is large and offers a lot in back. I will note that I was there pretty close to closing time therefore their quality and quantity were both suffering, however understanding that I don’t have a problem recommending Tender Greens and this location to anyone. While it’s no longer the only vegetarian/vegan option in the neighborhood, it’s held up pretty well to some of their fancier competition.

I got the backyard marinated steak with a romaine salad, mashed potatoes and Chardonnay. I know many prefer it this way, but my steak was a little too undercooked for my liking. Otherwise… decently good! Something I foresee me becoming addicted to? Nope! Worth the long lines and hype? In my opinion– no! However, Im willing to try it again eventually.

Even though this location is not in the nicest part of Hollywood, the sidewalk may not be very safe, but the inside of the restaurant is very well kept and clean. I have tried their Burbank location and this was my first time at the Hollywood location. I highly recommend getting their Tuna Nacoise salad and their side order of Mac and N Cheese is to die for! The salad is very filling, not only do you get mixed fresh lettuce, but it comes stuffed with marinated potatoes and a very hearty piece of seared tuna with citrus vinaigrette dressing. I absolutely love Tender Greens. Awesome place to grab a quick bite to eat, with quality food without breaking the bank.

Went here on Sunday night. I was shocked by how busy they were. The line was out the door. As usual I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Plate with the Harvest Salad. Don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with the food at any of their locations, except with the line at times. However, the lines move really fast so the wait is not a big deal. I also got the plum scone. NOW, that was really good. The plum filling was great, but it was a bit much on the topping. Just pure sugar and super sweet. Terrible parking in the area. I found a spot close by in the residential streets, which still took a few minutes. Metered or the lot is your best bet if you want to get in and out quickly.

I eat at Tender Greens all the time, mostly in San Diego. I would have to say that their food is pretty much the same at every location, which is a good thing because it’s of pretty good quality. I always end up spending like $ 13, which is ok, but I guess I’d enjoy this more if it was $ 10. My goto is typically the Backyard marinated steak as a hot plate with baby arugula. This is an excellent healthy meal and super tasty. Not ultra filling but good enough. This specific visit I had the special. It was pork belly over a harvest salad if I recall correctly. Pretty tasty, but I’d probably go back to my goto. Wait was reasonable here.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a quite some time, and it was a perfect half way place to meet a friend from lunch. They have no parking, but surprisingly enough, street parking wasn’t too difficult. Just be sure you read the signs carefully. At 4pm sharp, the tow trucks on Sunset are out in full force, ready to ruin your day. OK, back to Tender Greens. It’s a very nice place with plenty of seating… tables and booths inside, and a really pleasant back patio area that hardly anyone was using. We used it. It was great! You order near the front door, but you don’t pay there. That kind of threw me off. My Tender Greens veteran friend clued me in that you walk towards the back and pick up your food, order your drinks and baked goods, and then pay there. Along the way, you’ll see all the baked goods that are pretty hard to resist. They got me for a Citrus Olive Oil Cake. $ 4. pretty dang tasty! They have your food ready in no time and you pay and take your food and drink away on a tray. The glasses are heavy and it’s kinda’ tricky carrying it on the tray. My water spilled all over when I set the tray down. I ordered the Backyard Steak big salad. $ 11.50, see pic. The steak was just right. The salad was OK, but the greens were drenched in so much dressing that they were wilty. The salad still tasted great and was very filling. I was so full I didn’t eat anything else the rest of the day. For some reason, I was really thirsty after I ate the salad, and I still am, nine hours later. If it wasn’t the salad, it was the Citrus Oil Olive Cake, but I think it was the salad. It’s a really nice environment and the people that work there are really customer service oriented. I really liked it, but the fact that I’m still so thirsty after eating their salad(or cake) nine hours ago makes me think twice about going back. The food was tasty, though.

Four years later and a few TG locations later, the Hollywood store is still my favorite. I recently made a meal of their sides(roasted carrots, corn salad), with a glass of green juice on the side. The perfect portions. I’m still partial to the seared ahi when I need some protein and their roasted brussel sprouts are a MUSTHAVE whenever they’re in season. I’m told their baked goods are freakin’ delicious and for you veg eaters, there are a couple of vegan options now. Service is great if you dine in. They are constantly bussing and offering water refills. Reminds me of Chik Fil A’s service. Not bad at all when you consider this is still just a casual dining option and the service is not expected. Love this place!

This is my favorite Tender Greens location. The food is always soooo good here. The people are very nice and they get your food out and ready quickly. I almost always order the grilled veggies salad. It has an assortment of the day’s grilled vegetables with a lemon vinaigrette, Parmesan cheese(the real stuff) and a grilled piece of baguette. I can literally eat this salad every other day. We also ordered the special of the day which was Jidori chicken meatballs, sour apples and all kinds of other goodness. See the photo of the specials menu for a full description. For under $ 15, it is a great deal for healthy, innovative food. I almost always order the agua fresca. It is usually melon-based(watermelon is common in the summer) or pineapple-y. Cantaloupe was my favorite but I don’t see it often. There is free valet parking behind the restaurant but only for an hour with validation. Past that hour, you’re stuck paying $ 5(plus tip). If you valet, you walk up the ramp beside the driveway and can enter the restaurant through the back.

Tender Greens have a few locations! My fav place is the Pasadena location! This place gets packed on the weekends and during lunch time. There is plenty of sittings inside and outside on a nice day. This is a great place to head up after a good work out at the gym. This place is known for the healthy selections. They have a good sections of protein: chicken, filet mignon, ribs, tuna, and salmon. Side dishes like Mac and cheese, potatoes salad, and roasted veggies. A wide selections of salads. They have hot and cold dishes made fresh. Tuna nicoise is the best salad on the menu! They serve with lettuce, green beans, roasted veggies, and half of a boiled egg. It even includes a slice of toasted sourdough bread. The best part is the tuna steak seared perfectly and lightly seasoned! They serve a good portion that will fill you up. Don’t forget to order a lemonade on the side.

I had eaten at Tender Greens on a few occasions and recall my experiences there were good. Yes, they’re a chain but regardless, I always thought they served a good meal. I was craving having some steak and didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg since it was just a quick dinner for me. Tender Greens came up in my Unilocal search and so I knew there was one close to me so I bolted over. I called to see if there was parking and the girl on the phone said there was behind the building and it was valet only and they would validate my ticket. Good news because trying to find parking around this area would have taken too much time. They had something called Big Plates on their menu and one of the items was called a Backyard Marinated Steak. Sounded good to me. The order taker said it came medium rare only and I told him that was fine since that’s how I would have ordered it cooked anyways. I was able to get two sides so I asked for the Grilled and Roasted Vegetables and for a salad, the Tender Greens which he said was somewhat popular. I waited a few minutes and they delivered my plate to me. It wasn’t all that exciting to look at because the steak was just four strips of beef. It wasn’t even warm either but was room temperature so they pre-cook it I suppose and it just sits there in the kitchen. I thought the serving size of the grilled veggies and the salad was a little skimpy but I guess what do you expect from a chain restaurant. It wasn’t the greatest experience I’ve had at this restaurant chain but the meal was passable. Would I come back and order this steak plate again? Probably not. The salads in my estimation are probably the better way to go because I saw them being served and they were pretty huge salads. This might be their forté actually. I’ll have to get a salad next time when I return.
