The only«Irish pub» that plays regaton and salsa all damn night. They used to have a band but that’s long gone, ghetto and bartenders kinda suck

I came here last night for a drink before a concert at the Hard Rock Live and I was impressed! It was drizzling and the two options that didn’t require trekking around in the rain were Wet Willie’s or Murphy’s Law. I have too much respect for my liver to drink a Wet Willie’s frozen concoction, but Murphy’s Law seemed closed. It was about 6:40, and when we asked the woman setting up the tables if they were open, she said not until 7, but the friendly bartender overheard and said she would be happy to get the party started early! Their happy hour special was $ 1 off — we had cocktails(dirrrrty martini for Larry S. and a vodka soda for moi), but the guy next to us ordered a pint and it was(wait for it)… $ 5! DEAL! We ended up parked at the bar until the concert started and thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the other patrons. No Miami ‘tude here! When the bill came, I noted that although the bartender was pouring me doubles(hehehe!) I wasn’t charged for them. The total for 6 drinks(3 of which were doubles, so it was really like 9 drinks) and a nice tip(not an auto-tip) was $ 54, totally reasonable! The bar did get very crowded and there didn’t seem to be enough staff to handle it, but given the friendly bartenders and the low prices, this small speedbump shouldn’t be a dealbreaker.

My rating is really a 3.5. Fun Irish pub to have before or after dinner drinks while at the Hardrock. They usually have live music on the weekends and it gets really packed, some of the bartenders are great, some lack experience… so it’s a hit or miss.

All the comments from my original review back in 2008 are still valid, but I’m reducing a star from my original rating based on a recent experience at Murphy’s Law Irish Pub. A friend and I had dinner at one of the restaurants here at the Hard Rock complex and came to Murphy’s Law afterward for drinks. A server was there within 3 or 4 minutes to ask if we’d been served, and brought our order right away. Unfortunately the service on this night went sharply downhill from there. We finished our drinks and waited. And waited. Our server got an order from the table beside us and served them, then went to the table behind us and served them, while ignoring us completely while we’d sat there empty for at least 10 or 15 minutes. I went to the restroom and spoke to our server as I was leaving our table and requested another round and the check. I returned and we waited at least another 5 minutes before I saw a busser cleaning a nearby table and asked him to send our server. Finally she arrived with our beverages, but no bill. We enjoyed those, and again, sat there empty and waiting for several minutes. When I finally spoke to our server again as she served another nearby table and attempted to flea without so much as acknowledging us, I asked her once again for our check, which took another several minutes to settle so we could go. When she returned, I asked her how many tables in total they had her serving on that night. She said 13. Because she seemed to be swamped, I didn’t reduce her gratuity at all as I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it seems to me that Murphy’s Law either needs to 1) Hire more serving staff, or at minimum 2) When they’re running short, they need to do something to ensure the service to their customers isn’t sacrificed. I gave 3 stars because I’ve been to this pub a few times before and generally like Murphy’s Law, but if I were writing a review solely based our experiences on this night, I’ve have given this place 2 stars tops.

My wife and I went to Murphy’s Law Irish Pub on Saturday, January 16, 2016. We were having a great time having drinks at the bar for several hours. At approximately 11:30PM, a group of people rudely sat on a chair that we were using all night long. When the bartender tried to inform the group that we were using those chairs all night long, they ignored her. I asked the manager to assist. After the manager went over to the group, he told me that he couldn’t do anything. I asked him why? He asked whether I noticed that they were wearing beads and that they were Seminoles. I was flabbergasted and inquired whether that gave them the right to be rude and obnoxious to their customers? I asked to speak to his manager. His manager stated that she couldn’t do anything and blamed us for getting out of our chair for 15 seconds! I told her that I was not upset with the Seminoles! I told her that I was more upset with the management for allowing this type of behavior to occur within their business. I told her that it is a shame, but that I would probably never visit the Hard Rock Casino again due to this lousy experience at Murphy’s. Earlier that night we had dinner at Bongo’s. It is amazing to me that this type of establishment drove us away from ever wanting to ever spend money again at any establishment located within the Hard Rock Casino!

Would have given 2 stars based on the service but since the drinks are strong, I am being generous with my review. There is a gentleman bartender serving the outside bar who seems to think people can wait around 15 minutes for a drink even though the place was fairly dead. This is not tolerable considering the lack of crowd. Hopefully this will get resolved.

Wish their was an option to choose half a star, it’s my best friends birthday and our idea of getting the party started was stopping here«Horrible service»!!! The female bartender looked us in the face and passed us several times at the bar like we were invincible, she had taken care of everyone else and turned fidgeted and just over looked us then when we asked for a manager a Rick c guy comes up and serves us with a straight face … I expected more from HARDROCK! Customers service sucks!!! Stinks and I am very disappointed in murphys Irish pub!

We wanted to kill some time before a show. It was dead here… but it was dead everywhere at this time. A server(Logan) came in to start her shift about the time we walked in, so she followed us to our table, and took our order. Very friendly, accommodating, and tolerant of my cynical sarcasm(it was on point this day). Drinks took a bit, but her explanation worked for us. We drank our liquor, then moved on. We will most likely be back. I wish they had food.

Huge patio, half of it is covered, which is nice for unexpected rain storms– but beware! The vinyl covering does have seams in it that can leak! We still got some rain spray even being as far away from the edge of the patio as possible. Service is friendly, they have a full bar, but kind of ‘meh’ on the beer selection(a running theme in Florida). Bathrooms are nice and clean. The inside is more like a weird dance club vibe– but like the kind of dance club you had at your college(aka not fancy). Come for the patio and the people watching! Our group saw D.L. Hughley walk by on the way to his comedy show!

Murphys is a fun place to get affordable drinks with a handsome staff. There is entertainment every night of the week and most nights have drink specials to make the night even better. Love coming here with friends to listen to live music. Treated very well every time I come into this bar. Not your typical Irish pub. Everyone should check this place out

I do not think we have ever been to Murphy’s Law at the Hard Rock and not had a fantastic time! Sure the drinks make everyone smile a little more, and loud rock music is fun if that is your thing, but this place just has a mystic about it that we really love. The servers and bartenders are friendly, the house band we see each Saturday we attend(HAVOC305) is always on their game, and just the aura is spot on. Surrounded by so much at the Hard Rock, you do not need to dress to impress to get in, just be sensible and be ready for a great time. Have a cocktail, raise your glass and rock on!

Was there to watch UFC189 and they change the channel to some skateboarding x games shit just as the main event is about to start. Then they tell you it’s because they didn’t pay for the UFC fights. The bait and switch is strong in this one.

Murphy’s Law it’s just a bar, pretty divey to be at the Seminole Hard Rock area. drinks are watered down. Although I’ve never gotten a top shelf drink here though, I wouldn’t pay premium at this place. service it’s blah, but if you are in this area, it’s good enough. it gets packed inside and out.

I came here tonight(a Wednesday) as it was the only place open at the hard rock to get some drinks. Im 24 and my friend is 25. We’re from Toronto. We got there and were completely ignored at the bar in favor of other people who came after us. The bartender had no idea who was waiting I guess. Oh well. So we waited. Eventually we got served, and we got asked for our id’s. The bartender struggled for a second to find our birthday on our drivers licenses since we are canadian, even though I know a lot of canadians come down to florida on vacation all the time and this shouldnt be new to them. He eventually found it and we thought we would be on our way. Right before we got our drinks, some 65 year old lady with an unidentifiable lanyard came around the bar asking for my friends id. We didnt know who she was and she was in normal clothing. We hesitated because she wouldnt tell us who she was, but eventually we showed her our id as well. As soon as she saw them she yelled at the bartender to grab away our drinks and she told us they do not accept canadian ids and we would need our passports. Can someone explain to me who brings their passport out to a bar? Thats something i for one do not want to lose. There is no way im going to bring that out with me. So we went inside to the casino and bought drinks, no issues, with our canadian id. We even asked the casino bartender if they ever heard of such a policy. she said she never has, and candian ids were completely fine. She knew exactly where to find our birth date too. This establishment is obviously run by bigoted racists and i will never come back.

I went to Murphy’s Law for the first time last week and I enjoyed it. I have been to Hard Rock many times but always seem to pass Murphy’s by. It was a Friday Nite and there was no cover all nite. I have heard of a 5 dollar cover there but that must be on band nites. Drinks were pretty much Hard Rock standard. 6 bucks for a beer and so on. But what made me like the place was the atmosphere and the crowd. Everyone was having a good time dancing and mingling. Whether it was at the outside bar or the inside dance floor. Down to earth atmosphere for sure. Our waitress was super friendly but not sure if that is the norm. She appeared to be on some super friendly drugs too. But, hey, works for me! Keep those drinks coming lol. Murphy’s is a nice spot to chill with some friends and dance on a small but cozy dance floor.

Review for Saturday and Sunday on the same weekend. 1÷25÷2014 Fun place when it comes to sit, drink, people watching, and listening to bands. But when it comes to ordering drinks at the bar or sitting on a table and order from a waiter/waitress it’s were the stars go down. After arriving and waiting, the first round was ordered at the bar. The second round I had to search for the waitress… Waitress was just not in the right mood. I don’t know if it was work or family related. But when it comes to serve and work with customers, everything else should fade out. She had an awkward attitude to set me in an uncomfortable position to ask questions. Instead, I ordered a simple drink to keep things simple. The rest of the order was taken care by another waiter. Still a little quiet, he was better. The worst part of all, we were 1 out of the 3 tables in the entire Murphy’s law. Second bad part, since their wasn’t a band playing yet, too early, there was a iPod/playlist. 2 rounds of drinks and we heard the same 5 – 6 songs on loop. Alanis M., Oasis, SoundGarden, The Cranberries — Zombie… Yellow submarine FTS… We walked out. Saturday with school of rock kicked ass! The place was full of kids, their parents all around, it was simply fun! Missed most of the first half but the second was like 8 songs. Really well talented for beginners. Only one round order at the bar and it was easy since most people weren’t drinking. They were taking photos. We had a better vibe and left when the band left. Overall, I would go back but only if I don’t have to order drinks.

Pre-gamed for Jeff Ross’s stand up, drank soothing cider. I preferred sitting outside in the weather than listening to the loud music inside. Overall I give it a 5 because the service was good and drinks were cold. Short stay, fairly pleasant.

Cool place to chill and kill an hour. The dj plays a variety of genres which is cool. The band was energetic and entertaining. The bartenders are very personable and funny. I ended up crashing a bachelorette outing lol. #GOODTIMES It’s an IRISHPUB. Ummmm it’s supposed to have drunk people there! Isn’t that the point? Besides… tipsy people makes for some funny moments! Haha With that being said ummm eeerrr body in the club get tipsy(in my J Kwon voice)
