Terrible service, we had to walk out!
Rolled in on a light-​rainy Friday. The entrance is awful — I felt like you could get stabbed going up. Then, no host… so we walked in. On our way to finding seats I was bumped or rudely hollered by (multiple) waitresses trying to make it thru the crowded table setting (although there were plenty of empty tables). So after going around the place and basically on our way out, I see the host, crouched under the reception area TEXTING. I go «there you are!»… Then she asks if we are eating… I say «No, just drinks» she goes «Sorry my manager will yell at me» — So let me get this straight, I’m ready to spend good cash on cocktails but you won’t seat me? But if I want a $ 10 burger with a water I can get a seat? Stupid. Spent $ 110 at the next bar down the blvd.

This place is sub-​par at best. Everything is definitely NOT fresh or homemade. They do not have happy hour specials and when we asked of they had any specials, our waitress said that it’s happy hour all day … Very funny. My friend ordered an $ 11 margarita and it came in a 10 oz plastic cup. Very small for the price. We ordered chips and dip to start (salsa and queso) which was $ 5.99, somewhat reasonable. The chips definitely came right out of a bag and the salsa was disgusting, my friend said the queso was good. For lunch my friend ordered a regular ceasar salad because the one with chicken was ridiculously more expensive, she said it was good but how can you go wrong? I got chicken fingers and fries for $ 11 – 12. Totally overpriced, frozen chicken fingers, one of which was not all the way cooked. The fries were also frozen and pretty tasteless.
Overall impression, the food is frozen and overpriced. There is no happy hour and the entire property is non-​smoking even though the bar is outside. Would definitely not come here again.

Most people probably review this under the resort. Anyhow I came by for a cheeseburger. I didn’t like it. It seemed like a frozen product. The meat was a perfectly shaped circle. It was well done and didn’t have a sear on it. It kind of tasted like a McDonald’s burger only bigger and the bread was bigger than the meat. You just get a mouthful of bread. Same thing with the fries. It’s just frozen food, they don’t make anything and I paid $ 14 for that. 5guys makes it fresh so yeah that’s kind of disappointing by comparison. It doesn’t take much to impress people I guess. The people working there are overly friendly. I kind of felt uncomfortable. 3 of them asked what I was having. I said a cheeseburger. They said ohh you’ll like the cheeseburger. I said well ok.? They asked how’s my day I looked sad. I said I’m fine really, just having a cheeseburger. I was trying to relax, it was kind of annoying. Last thing, on the bill they add 1% for something called public use and then tax and they figure the tip on top of the fees and taxes. They add 11¢ to the bill because I walked in? Seems like a silly thing. 11¢ is like nothing. Why do that?

As a Hollywood resident, I’m verrrrry undecided on this whole mega resort margaritaville thing coming to my formerly simple, hippie-​vibe neighborhood, but since we couldn’t beat jimmy, we figured we’d join him. Had beer, wings, & artichoke dip on 2^nd floor at the land shark bar & grill. Once I let go of the cringing feeling of this actually being on «my» old Boardwalk, I had to admit the view of the bandstand and ocean was spectacular. The food was really good (as bar food)…we were super impressed. Our server, edson, was awesome… attentive, funny, accommodating… even spoke like 6 languages. Overall, if you keep in mind this is a mega resort and it’s working out the kinks, and you let go (I’m still working on it) of the fact that margaritaville is officially here in our little hood, then this place is a good spot for casual good food and drinks. Ask for Edson!

1^st weekend open. Music great. Few growing pains initially with service. Food good to very good for typical bar fare. Onion rings excellent, fries good, burgers looked good. I would reccomend.
