Ordered the ½ pound burger and some chili cheese fries. I asked for extra chili, extra cheese, and extra onions on the fries, and was surprised to see that they didn’t charge me extra at all. I love this place.

Staff in this place is never attentive, and the drive thru is run like its not part their job. Always come here for a «quick» bite but I can get seated, eat, pay my waiter, and be out before I get anything from the drive thru at this place

The 2016 Unilocal 500 — Review #176: I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years. it’s always my overly-reliable late night go to burger joint. There’s a couple of guys who’ve been working in here for years that I recognize immediately upon entering and vice versa. I’ve never been disappointed by this Fatburger location or any in the greater LA area. The biggest disappointment was the ones that closed in Florida. SECONDBESTINFLAVORBUT…: I will say that Dave and Buster’s edges out the turkey burger here. At Hollywood and Highland… it is the Parking that is their downfall That fact makes Fatburger the logical go to burger joint. THEBOTTOMLINE: The turkey burger these guys serve up is a damn fine burger and they also offer a loyalty card. After 8 burgers you get one free. Let’s see D&B tackle that offer. Although dead for 400 years this year, if Shakespeare were alive he’d exclaim, «I thinketh not!» In relly to the D&B statement above. Then he’d order a double turkey burger and toss the bag into his horse-drawn cart before headimg south on Vermont bound for thr 101 Freeway. Yep! William would have been a fan of the drive-thru.

This place is terrible. I’ve came her a few times while dog sitting and they always mess up the order. Super disappointed not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

In n out marks don’t really get burgers besides their double double animal style, ignore their review. But the burger at this location is always quality, I’ve come here for years and years and it doesn’t disappoint. Eat here, it’s worth it.

I love this place. Sometimes it’s slow, but that’s just because it’s always crowded with customers. However, I want to shout out to the staff. Almost always super friendly and polite. One guy in particular, Barry is great. I guess he either works a lot or I just happen to want a burger the same times he’s onnduty. Anyhow, he’s excellent. Very professional, patient and polite. Its always a great experience ordering when he is working the drive thru.

Once a favorite lunch stop after one of my Kaiser appointments with my Opthamologist, that was until my most recent visit. Not satisfied with my order at all. The taste that I use to love just wasn’t there! In no hurry to return anytime soon.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to any Fatburger and was in the area so thought I’d give them another try, dining area looked cramped and busy so I hit the Drive-Thru, food is made to order and burgers are a bit thicker than the norm so it does take a bit. Burgers come in Small to like XXXL which is a 1.5 pound burger! they have a variety of your basic burger toppings, but things like Cheese, Chili, Egg are an additional cost. If I remember correctly I got the Medium Burger and Fat Fries. Fatburger Med 1/3-lb($ 4.79 + Cheese $ 0.99) The burger was juicy and cooked nicely, toppings were fresh BUT that bun was dryer than the Mojave Desert, I thought nearly $ 6 bucks for a fast food burger was a bit high. With a nice bun this is probably a solid 4-Star burger, Keepin’ it real 2.5-Stars Fat Fries($ 2.59) Fries were cooked well, nice and crisp, BUT tasted like a plain baked potato, just no flavor(((SALT))) your fries! 2-Stars

The employees here are nice and helpful and they prepare the food well. The hours are late, there is a drive through and indoor/outdoor seating, and they are located conveniently near Sunset and Vermont in Hollywood. It could be a little cleaner on the inside and there is no customer restroom as far as I could tell.

Always open. Always awesome. Not always clean and not always fast BUT sometimes clean and sometimes fast. Would like to see healthier options on the menu just because it’s called fat burger doesn’t mean it have some gluten free options. But over all a pretty solid choice for a late night burger.

The nicest fat burger I’ve been to and I grew up in LA eating fat burger. Do not go to the fatburger in culver city on Venice and sawtelle they are terrible. They put bleach all over the ground while my brother and I were eating and continued even though we told them our heads and stomach were hurting. On the other hand the employees here are super polite and even filled up my ketchup cup for me. FATBURGER use this location as an example for your other locations this one rocks

Late night — we’re already in bed its 11pm but we’re hungry — run. THEAMBIANCE: Fatburger is a little shack located in the Rite Aid/Jons shopping plaza on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Vermont Ave. I was surprised they had a drive-thru, which is good because we took an Über and were not looking our best. The drive-thru is actually just a pull-up ordering screen and then a small window ahead. I saw that they have inside seating on a U-shape counter all along their venue’s windows. THEFOOD: It was my first time at Fatburger. I looked at their menu and maybe it’s just me but I really thought that the burger had chili in it. The photo looked like chili was oozing out of it but it turns out its the patty. We ordered an XXL burger and a medium burger. We also ordered a side of fries. You have a choice between skinny fries and fat fries. I mean, what the hell. We are already being fattys at 11pm at night. Fat fries! Lastly, we ordered a large Coca Cola and I asked for a side of ranch for 25 cents. I was reading that they make your burger when you order it so I was not surprised that we spent about five(5) minutes at the window waiting for our food. The man at the window gave me a big, heavy bag, which included everything, except the soda of course. The burger was good. I still think In N Out is better IMO. The burger is definitely larger in size and the XXL burger looked like our next pet. Huge. The fries… eh. I was disappointed. They needed seasoning! Also, the side of ranch they gave me was a small Hidden Valley packet — the kind you use for salads. I was definitely not dipping my fries in that. What I did like was that the fries were big and very hot. You are definitely not getting sad, cold fries. THETIPS: The burger comes with relish and pickles. I asked them to take those ingredients out.

This place was horrible. I used to love going to fatburger. I wanted to surprise my wife for mother’s day yesterday with a treat so we went through the drive thru & ordered the XXL burger meals & a kids meal with skinny fries & fat fries so we could eat it at the park. The burgers were overcooked & almost smelled microwaved. They were not seasoned at all. The fries tasted like they had freezer burn. And they were also overcooked. The wait was horribly long. We ended up paying almost $ 40 for something we could have had from the frozen food aisle. And now me, my wife & our toddler have been sick to out stomachs since last night. We even sent in a review to their website & have not heard back. Do not waste your money. Head over to star burgers or troys. Heck, even mcdonald’s new menu tastes better than this place. I will never come back here.

Just like Oscar The Grouch loves his trash, I love my Fatburger. This is a three star joint but I gave it 5 because this is my review and can say what I feel. Been coming to Fatburger since I was a we lad and always have enjoyed my BabyFat with egg. Now that I’m all grown I’ll take a Double King and still slap that egg on it. This burger is a great late night greasy snack. Just ask Ice Cube, he likes his @ 2 in Tha Mornin. It was sad to see our original torn down by our beloved Magic. Some Unilocalers say its too expensive and overrated. I say that’s their own opinion and I’ll stick to mine. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and this is one of our gems. Love it or Leave it but I’m still«True Skool» so many where they are very much loved, L.A.

THEGOOD — — — — — - The late business hours, which are quite the godsend when you are in the area during ungodly hours for shady reasons(or not), and require basic sustenance. The ever-convenient drive-thru window. The relatively wide range of choices in burger size, contents, and sides. The generally easy-to-deal-with staff members. The acceptable palatability of the menu options. The food is not exceptional — but again, *completely adequate* for basic sustenance at 3 in the morning. THEBAD — — — — – The surprisingly high price that will appear on your receipt(considering the unremarkably pedestrian quantity and quality of the food). THEUGLY — — — — — The remorse and self-loathing that you will invariably experience after eating here, when you realize(all too late), that you have just slightly shortened your life expectancy through an incremental bump in atherosclerosis, hypertension, obesity, and diabetes.

I have a real love/hate relationship with this place. The bad: Always crowded Limited seating(both inside and out) Very noisy/busy Lots of sketchy people in and around Employees are overworked and not in the best moods Unless you pay extra the basic options are very small The good: To put it simple the burgers here are very good and not very comparable to any other chain. They are just so unique and tasty. There also aren’t very many of these around. Fat fries
