I was actually looking for the restaurant that was delivering to my hotel last week and couldn’t find them. I found another site(gasp) called EAT24(not impressed) that is for delivery or pickup and that’s how I found Bill’s BBQ. It’s not Italian or Chinese and the delivery charge is $ 3.17(incls tax). Their site is easy to use, click and add and the process went very easily. Perhaps some reviews would help because I am so sorry that ever strayed. *sigh* The restaurants menu consists of Ribs, Wings, Chicken and your typical soul food sides, Mac N Cheese, Collard Greens, ect. We ordered the Rib Dinner with baked beans, cole slaw and corn bread, Half a Chicken with sides of mac n cheese, fried sweet potatoes and collard greens. Of course, I got a call shortly after placing the order that the greens wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes. So, I told the woman to surprise me after she asked if there was something else I would like. The surprise was that she didn’t bring anything to substitute the greens! The corn bread was really good, sweet and moist. The beans and coleslaw were also good however, I find it hard to mess those up. The sweet potatoes though were not cooked all the way and covered in grease. The mac n cheese, dried out cooked pasta with hardly any cheese, certainly not at all creamy. My son didn’t like it at all. The chicken cooked well and sloppy with bbq sauce if that’s what you like. Thank goodness they included a lot of napkins! Not a bad choice. I saved the ribs for last because there was more fat than meat and I will never order them again. It’s not the flavor of the sauce because I quite liked it. But I am paying for meat, not fat and they were disgusting. All may have been forgiven if they had at least put in a piece of pecan pie to make up for the disappointment. Too bad. Bad to Italian tomorrow.

DID I REALLYEATHERE??! On my continued search for the holy grail of fine BBQ food, I came across Billy’s BBQ Dream after recommendations from a fellow Unilocaler or two and after my disappointing experience at Mississippi Sweets in Boca last week. Upon my approach to this trailer by the side of the road on Miccosukee tribal land in Hollywood, I would not be lying when I tell you I actually winced as I drove by and observed the less than cleanliness of this establishment. Is a trailer considered an establishment? Anyhow, I actually left and drove off and then came back three times before I decided to put on my «big boy pants,» swallow hard and take the plunge and force myself to walk up to place my order. As I walked this rickety, wooden plank to the order window, I noticed two picnic tables and two smoker units to my left and a covered garbage can with flies the size of humming birds buzzing around. All covered under a tent to protect against the elements. I ordered 2 Chris Combo Specials which included ribs, chicken and fries, a side of collard greens and a side of BBQ baked beans, cornbread and lemonade to drink. The ribs and their BBQ sauce were very good. However, although the ribs were nice sized baby back ribs(unlike the tiny ones at Mississippi Sweets), on a couple of them, you could taste ever so slightly, the refrigerator or freezer. The chicken on the other hand was extremely overcooked and dry. Not even the sauce could save it. The collard greens were extremely salty and bitter. I have had better. The BBQ beans were very good and could pass as canned baked beans. The much to do cornbread was chalky and not fresh tasting at all. Lastly, the lemonade was too sweet and not well balanced.
Perhaps, I am looking for something that simply does not exist. Great tasting, great quality BBQ food at a decent and clean eatery. Perhaps, I am simply ignorant to the fact that my experience today at Bill’s BBQ Dream was exactly the way it was supposed to be – trailer, flies and all.

If you enjoy smoked barbaque ribs and chicken wings, then this is the best place in Broward County to go !! I went here with my family and had a Beef Brisket sandwich, somthered in tangy barbaque sause, on Texas Toast bread… the beef keep falling out of the sandwich because the beef was piled on… A true Man vs Food kind of sandwich. Also, they serve ribs, chicken wings, and the worlds best french fries, not soggy or overdone like other fast food joints. The owner Georgetta(who is from Georgia), is outgoing and friendly! If you are from Georgia then you will appreciate her homemade Pecan Pie. I have never tasted any pecan pie like this one, at «Bills Bar-B-Que Dream». The last kept secret, is the homemade Banana Pudding, move over Jello-Pudding this is the Bomb!!! So if you are in the neighborhood stop in and have some good Southern Bar B Que.

Amazing smoked ribs and chicken! The meat is tender and the sauce is incredibly perfect, not too sweet or too tangy. They do mostly take out but they have a few picnic benches under a tent. If you stay long enough you will see someone from the family tending to the super sized smoker right outside in front. My son and I split the half slab($ 15.) and we were in rib heaven. We also ordered a side of fries and out came this huge order of crispy and hot steak fries. I didn’t understand the five slices of bread that come with it but who cares. The food is too good. My daughter had the Chris combo($ 7.50) with ribs, chicken and fries. The chicken wings were huge and with a nice coating without overpowering the meat. Next time I will eat less so I can try their homemade pecan pie! They also have sandwiches: Pulled Pork Ribs Shortend Chicken beef brisket Pork Chop Wraps Sides: Rice & Peas Baked Beans Potato Salad Collard Greens Mac & Cheese Fried Sweet Potatoes Corn Bread Fries Corn on the Cob
