I have searched high and low for good vegan cheese. And then I found Atlas. I haven’t even tried anything except their mozzarella, but it’s so amazing, I can only imagine all of their cheeses are. I don’t eat much mock meat, but I’m sure their’s are amazing too. But their cheese… You can get it on pizza at a lot of local pizzerias, or make your own pizza at home with it. Check their website to see who carries it. It’s to die for. But it’s just as good cold on sandwiches or in a salad or by itself. I loved Caprese salad and sandwiches, and I loved pizza before going vegan, and now I can finally truly enjoy those again – and they taste amazing. I hated vegan cheese before I found this. I was used to eating pizza with just sauce, veggies and pineapple. Not anymore!

This is a great sandwich place for vegans!!! The selections are delicious and serving portions are generous. I had the Rachel on rye which was fantastic!

It’s not always easy to find a: hearty, satisfying & tasty reasonably priced vegan or vegetarian sandwich. Atlas deli has you covered. I’ve tried a number of their offerings. My two favorites are the sausage marinara and the Rachel on rye. The sausage marinara is a hearty sandwich. The sausage has all the smokey, salty flavors your tongue could desire. It has the same texture as sausage. It is served hot on perfectly toasted bun with vegan cheese and a very hearty home-style marinara sauce. It is delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. The Rachel on Rye is even more of a hearty sandwich. The«pastrami» slices are tasty and filling. The sandwich is loaded and it’s hard to take a full bite. The fresh rye bread, sauerkraut and other toppings complement the pastrami. The food is prepared fresh while you wait and served hot. I only wish the sandwiches were available mid week as well.

This place is very small and stuck in a farmer’s market but don’t let that deter you from trying it. It’s very good, I loved the hamburgers. You can build your own or go with sandwiches that are vegan modifications. This place seats about 6, is bare bones in accommodations, and is what it is. Go with an open mind and an empty stomach.
