I’m not surprised this place closed. They called them selves«vegan» but everything was cooked in microwave and the owner called herself a holistic person but she sucked. Besides the place being clean and the manager being a very nice man this ooace sucked!

OUTOFBUSINESS! The restaurant is closed and has a sign on the door stating it has been out of business since December 14, 2014. I am very disappointed that Unilocal is selling food discount vouchers to this restaurant because it has been closed over a month and I will never be able to use it. I certianly hope I will be reimbursed for a voucher that is worthless.

They have pretty good salads here but a little more than I’d like to spend on just a salad($ 12). I tried the tropical rain salad with spinach, kale, and mangos with a pomegranate vinaigrette. My boyfriend was pretty happy with his black bean burger & the smoothies here are delicious. The only thing about this place is the actual café. I’m not feeling the whole vibe here as a place to eat; I don’t like that the tables are in the middle of a cluttered store. There’s some seats along the window and some outside seating too(but it’s right along the road and often noisy). Overall, you should give this place a try, even if you’re not vegetarian. They also have a spiritual spa and healing services that they offer.

Rolled in on a flight into Fort Lauderdale airport and needed a nearby vegan lunch fix. Wasn’t sure where to go, but iConnect Café popped up on a Unilocal search very close to the airport’s economy parking lot so we grabbed our car and headed straight over. Great decision! Comfortable relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and very tasty satisfying lunch. The pesto chick’n sandwich had excellent flavor, as did the California coleslaw accompaniment. The Chunky Monkey smoothie was decadent and mouthwatering good. Wish we had a place like this in our neighborhood. We’ll be back!

The food was so good i can’t take anything from their stars. BUT… I would prefer at least the options of whole grain roll and the black bean burger to be spicy.

Please note that this is a vegan restaurant and should be reviewed accordingly. That being said, this place is truly a hidden gem. I’m not a vegan(although I hope to be one day) and having dined at several vegan restaurants in the past and leaving disappointed, this place surprised me. I came here with no expectations(which is a great way to approach this type of restaurant) and I was very satisfied. My partner had the Chai and I had the kale shake. She liked hers, I thought it was too watery. My kale shake was amazing, just the right amount of sweet. For main course she had the California black bean burger and I had the chicken pesto sandwich. I’m not a big fan of black bean burgers simply because they taste nothing like real hamburgers so you’re always in for a disappointment if that’s what you’re expecting. Maybe if they were called something else. My partner loved it, I would probably order it if I went back. As for the chicken pesto sandwich, it was awesome. Came with homemade coleslaw with berries, perfect compliment. For dessert we shared the piña colada cup cake. For those of you who never had a piña colada cup cake, have one. More specifically, have one here! Homemade and delicious. Overall a great place, highly recommended, very chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Go vegan!

Since my original review over a year ago I’ve gone back a few times and have found the food to be lower quality. The side items change, but once I had some of those airy crispy veggie stix and most recently my side salad was iceberg lettuce and shredded cabbage — likely prepackaged. I did ask for no tomatoes, but still when dining at a vegan place, I expect a bit more quality from my salad. Today I thought I’d try their Pesto Chick’n Sandwich. Here’s the description, you can compare it to the image of what I got: Chick’n covered with pesto sauce and vegan mozzarella cheese then roasted to perfection topped with lettuce and tomato on a toasted baguette with a hint of vegan pesto mayo served wit ha side salad or California cole slaw First off reverse pesto and mayo. It was COVERED in MAYO with hints of pesto. There was no vegan mozzarella and nothing was roasted nor toasted. I did pick up the order a lot later than I ordered it, but I actually thought when I finally received it that it was meant to be cold up until I just pulled up the menu again just now to write this review. Honestly, the only reason I ate hae

Thanks to Unilocal,we found this awesome little café. We go around country eating in lots of vegan places, so having lots to compare it with, it was on top– simply astounding. The food was perfectly balanced, all the flavors merging together beautifully in the mouth, the taste was exquisite, textures and temperatures perfect. Everything being made on premises from scratch, including sauces and burger patties is delicious and saturating; and the pre-made chick’n strips were so tender! I never had a tastier chick’n sandwich in my life. The burger was large and tender, flavorful enough not to taste like beans, and basil pesto –simply yum! Once again, all the aspects of superb food were there. We left full and energized(not sloppy and sleepy like usually after standard comfort food). I adore this place and wish they were in my backyard!

I love this place! I’ve been going here for a little over a year now since it’s right next to my job. The black bean burger and kale salad is my fave! I also love their chips and salsa and the avo islands! Their baked goods are also amazing! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. Such a zen environment. The owner is absolutely great as well. The one and only con I have is that it takes a while for the food to come out so plan for that! It’s understandable considering everything is fresh and made in house. I usually call ahead for a pick up order so it’s more convenient. Anyways this place is the bomb! Wish they had one close to my house so I can eat on weekends!

FAV vegan restaurant the atmosphere is so beautiful and chill! Their food is great and can be modified if you are not bout fake cheeses and such. The staff is very nice and make people feel comfortable. Such good vibes the second you walk in what with all the meditation and yoga that goes on behind the restaurant. They sell cool religious items as well. And free cookies? YAAAAS

I ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning and was really impressed with this little café/yoga spot. Their breakfast is fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the breakfast scramble and I had the vegan French toast. We really enjoyed both, plus the spinach/apple/pineapple green smoothie. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend brunch.

This is a multi purpose place… Which I didn’t know going in. I went to eat. Apparently they do yoga, meditation, and I think it was reiki there as well. Small place right off a pretty busy road… A few tables to sit outside, in the front of the building… Where it’s pretty loud because of the cars going by. Inside only has a few tables as well, and it smells like incense in there… So I wouldn’t want to eat inside. Not a whole lot to chose from when it comes to food. The food I did get was decent, and a cook there named Jabari brought me out a smoothie sample.

I just recently found out about this little gem and was so excited to see another vegan eatery in the Fort Lauderdale area! They did not disappoint! From the welcoming friendly staff, to the complimentary vegan cookies, to the friendly service and spectacular food! The server was very informative on the menu and I ultimately chose the black bean burger. Absolutley delicious! Very generous portion size without being too much food. Very reasonably priced. Very clean and intimate environment! If I could give 10 stars I would! Good luck guys! I love seeing vegan eateries do well!

The vegans know how to do it! It seems like every vegan restaurant I go to, has their stuFF together. iConnect is of no exception. I actuaLLy went here on Christmas day and after I told my family we are going to a vegan restaurant, it sEEmed like I was draGGing them there lol! But upon entering iConnect, my father couldn’t stop taking pictures. He was acting like a diabetic in a candy shop! :) The fOOd, coFFEE, endleSS tea options, and deSSerts were amazing. They even have a yoga and meditation studio, maSSage rOOm, and mini retail shop up front. Eating at iConnect Café is not just a wonderful dining experience, but also a spiritual life-changing event. Too much? I think not.

Down grading from 5STARS to 4STARS because they use a microwave with some items. One evening fate caught hold of me, my life from that moment changed forever. During the waxing moon on a clear night I was on the beach with a beautiful Asian woman with long flowing hair and deep dark eyes. As we stood before the Moon and embraced one another, our lips touched in delicate sensuality. The moment my tongue tasted the elixir of her mouth, I immediately felt the bliss of creation flow through my body and spirit. I could then feel and see the energy that binds all things beyond the flesh and the 4 elements. In like manner did I feel a similar yet not as deep sensation during and after my lunch at this vegan & organic café. Thanks to Dax S’s review I found iConnect café. iConnect opened last February and is located off of griffin road , the café was really easy to find with its eye catching sign . I was kind of caught off guard with this place, it is small yet they have managed to fit so much in there without it appearing clustered or you feeling claustrophobic. There is a very good energetic feel in this place. They have T-shirts , soy candles, precious stones, soaps, incense and yoga supplies etc , . They also do reiki, angel card readings & numerology. +Reiki Energy Healing Circles every Tuesday@ 7:00pm-8:30pm($ 5.00). +Write for Joy every Wednesday@6:00−7:30($ 10.00). +Compassionate Communication every other Thursday@7:30 — 9:30($ 20.00). They also have monthly events noted on their website. iConnect also has a massage room , meditation room and yoga room . They offer Hatha Yoga, Flow Yoga and Alignment Yoga(hot & not). The café is calmly and modest, the vegan/organic menu serves breakfast lunch(served all day), organic coffee’s, tea’s, salads & deserts. They have a small communal dining counter and a couple of tables outside. After pondering the menu I decided to order the black bean burger to go($ 9.00) and a slice of date cake($ 3.00) . The black bean burger was unique being it was house made. It was huge, delicious and loaded with cheese. I felt like I was eating one of those burger monsters on Man vs Food on the Travel channel. The fries and salsa sauce were superb, crunchy and light. RATING4.5 I had no idea a vegan cake could taste so spicy & sweet, the icing was especially decadent. I have had horror experiences with vegan cakes from wholepaycheck(wholefoods). RATING4.5 After I ate the burger & the cake, I felt very light and energetic, I felt like I could run a mile. That my friends is a sign from your body that you are eating REALNUTRITIOUSHEALTHYFOOD. It’s an indication that your body and mind is becoming harmonious with the nutrition the Earth has made bountiful for you. The prices for the food is very reasonable for a vegan/organic restaurant. Customer service from Francesca was full of smiles and joy, the new girl is also nice, but she is not glowing like Francesca.
