Hollister, CA
On the very out skirts of town, is a wonderful but little known bakery carrying a variety of donuts, cookies, cake and assorted pastries. You can custom order cakes for all occasions. My favorite is the chocolate/​vanilla marble with chocolate filling, but they have many other combinations. Try the banana or strawberry fillings they are extra yummy as well.
I only wish this bakery was closer to town. They used to have two locations. The 2nd location was next door to the old Payless (now Rite-​Aid).
