Great burger, fantastic selection of beers, and the bartender, Tiffany, was extremely welcoming and professional. I’ll definitely make it a stop in the future!

After spending the day at Swank Farm today with the family we decided to eat out. We came across this place on the way home. As we(4 adults and 5 kids total) walked in this establishment we were greeted by employees with confused expressions. Immediately, who I assume was the manager there sarcastically says«Do we have a reservation for 20?» My brother in-law said no, there, are nine of us. As the staff looked around… the restaurant which was only about 20% full, the manager directed his employee to put 2 tables together in the corner of the store. TWO tables! They acted as if we were an inconvenience to them. Before we were seated the manager(wearing a red saracha shirt) gave us a business card and said«here’s my card, next time make a reservation.» I couldn’t believe he said that, we were seriously considering just walking away but there isn’t anything else near by. To that manager: There wont be a next time because we aren’t from Hollister and only go there for Swank Farm during Halloween month. You guys are located pretty much off a highway. I’m not sure how or why anyone would reserve at a place like yours. Second, after your poor welcoming and service, I wouldn’t eat there for free. Literally 3 minutes after we sat down, the server comes over and states«Lets get some drinks ordered for you guys» but not in a way as if he wanted to take care of us, more in a demeaning tone. As if he was trying to rush us. His demeanor was the same way as we ordered the food. He quickly walked away from our table after the last person ordered as I was asking him to add an appetizer. To make a long story short, the server NEVER, not one time came by our table to ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Nine of us and NOT one of us received a refill on our beverages. The food was mediocre, my wife ordered the Chicken Pesto Club and there was literally a smear of pesto the size of a quarter on the bread. Look at the photo. Not one time did they check on us but they were quick to give us the check. That just about covers our experience and if your business ever comes up in a conversation, I’ll refer them to this post! Bomb food. Great beer selection and an insane whiskey selection and our server, Spencer, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. All in all, great place to relax with some friends:)

New manager has already made a huge improvement. I swore this place off several times, but they have one of my favorite beers on tap, so we made the trip last night. It looks the same inside, but within 30-seconds it was easy to see things had changed. Instead of the staff sitting around talking to each other and ignoring the customers, we were greeted by at least two smiling people and the good service continued until we left. Even the food was much better than before and I’m hopeful things will continue to improve. I do hope they review the prices for food items. All things considered I feel it’s a bit high and they need to up their game to justify.

I’ve been coming here for drinks after work and dinner for almost 2 years. This place has been steadily going down hill. They used to have beer nights on Tuesday. Drink 99 beers and get your name on the wall. Well, I did, but they stopped putting names on the wall. Than they started trivia nights and after a few month decided to move trivia to another location. What? Than came a loyalty app, except its not working. They keep running out of stuff on the menu, like not having bread for soup, or being out of cheese for chili. How mismanaged can a business be? All the good waiters have quit and moved to other bars and restaurants in town. It gets emptier every week. This place is in desperate need of new ownership! I wont be back until then.
