Such a great place to visit. The outdoor pond is amazing to experience and is filled with tadpoles(June 2015). Inside the mansion you will find a blueprint of the pond hung on a wall. The building is incredible inside. Up in the 3rd floor ballroom it feels slightly creepy when empty, but I would love to go to an event there! Beautiful at Sunset, sun pours into the pink room in the middle on the second floor. Living here must have be spectacular. Great views looking out to Lake Michigan. The renovation of the carriage house is an added treat. Summer concerts at Felt Mansion are great.

I went to the Felt mansion this past weekend for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the staff who were there that night were extremely friendly. After dancing to the last song, we went to get our coat from the coat closet and they had locked the doors by 11:01. There was no announcement made at the end of the night that they were locking the doors promptly at 11 just an announcement saying that was the last song. We called the mansion in the morning and left voicemails. Stacy called us back and told us we had from 1 – 1:15pm to pick up our coat and keys. She was EXTREMELY rude on the phone. She started listing off the things that were on the lost and found list to us telling us there was no jacket with keys and it was probably tossed out. Leaving us with the feeling that she was telling us the cleaning crew was subpar. She also said that guests leave items all the time. If this happens all the time, there needs to be a better system put in place. And an announcement saying the doors are locking promptly at 11. We went 45 minutes early to wait until 1pm to see if we could find our jacket and keys– The whole mansion was FULL of people for the next wedding and the jacket was exactly where we left it. Stacy is NOT the right person to be handling the job of dealing with the public. She is unprofessional and rude. Not to mention especially unhelpful.
