Northwest Fourth-Fest

Went on the 4^th and this thing was a total bust. Rides were broke. Food selection sucked (no local options, only gross carnival food). Carnies were extra creepy. Two stars because it was close and parking was easy. $ 40 in rides lasted 15 minutes.
We won’t be back next year.

I think this festival would be great for people with kids, but for me/​my friends, it wasn’t that great. We went on the 4^th during the day, and it was pretty dead. There were tons of cops there, they made up about half of the population. We didn’t stay for fireworks, so I don’t know how good they are.
Pros:
–Free to get in and free parking
–Lots of parking spaces
–Not that crowded
–Lots of fair rides (if you’re into that)
–Activities for kids
–Cheap food/​drinks
Cons:
–Not that big (we walked around for 5 minutes and saw everything)
–Not many food vendors to choose from
–Not many activities for adults
–No music (here wasn’t really any entertainment besides a guy making balloon animals)
–Food wasn’t that high of quality (we actually felt a bit sick after)
Honestly I probably wouldn’t go back. It was more of a carnival than anything else.
