Most excellent. i do hope this business survives as it is seasonal and it is a little hard to get to. It was authentic and so much fun! Get the stein and the imported german pretzel. I brought my besties here from out of town. Made a Huge Impression, not to mention getting a little lit. Some additional signing might help for parking for people new the area.

We came here with a big group of friends(and their kids) and this place was great for everyone. We were there on a particularly scorching Saturday, but the shade kept us pretty cool. Everyone brought food to share, so we were set for the afternoon. There are 3 kinds of beer on tap, plus a cider. You can order them either by the half liter($ 6) or liter($ 11). The liter glass looked very large to me, so I went for the half. Oh, any glass you have requires a $ 5 deposit, which you will get back when you leave and hand in your token. They do sell food, but it is fairly limited and includes hot dogs, brats, and pretzels with cheese. We had the pretzel and they were fantastic. The cheese sauce is homemade too. While there wasn’t a park or anything nearby, the kids in our group had a great time running around and blowing bubbles. We could have brought soccer balls or something else for the kids to play with too. There is a big pond and many of the kids enjoyed«exploring» during a walk around it. The owner sat with our group for a while, and he was a great guy. He told us about his other beer garden in Milwaukee, and how he imported the beer, pretzels, tables, etc. for an authentic experience. He told us that they often have bands playing on the weekends too. While we don’t live very close, if we did, I’m sure this would be a summer staple meeting place for our group of friends. We were there a long time, from 3:30 to around 8, and had a great time. The only thing to watch out for is the parking. It was a bit difficult to find. We exited 90 at Beverly, then turned right onto Stone Prairie Parkway. pass the Sears Centre(don’t park there), and turn left on Pratum Road. One more left and you’ll basically be going into a corporate building parking lot — we saw the Tate & Lyle building. Fear not, this is where you are supposed to park. There’s a walking path behind the building, which will take you over the pond, and to the beer garden.

Nice outdoor setting, but boy do they not help folks much in finding it! It’s in an outdoor area next to a small lake surrounded by an office park so not the easiest to find. Just follow the signs for the Village Green, park in the parking lot and then head back behind the building that was straight ahead when you pulled in to the parking lot(path is on the right side of that building). They have a small menu but that is understandable. We tried a brat and a giant pretzel — both were good but on the pricey side. The giant pretzel will cost you $ 7(without cheese) and the smaller size of the beer is $ 6. There is a $ 5 refundable deposit per glass beer mug. The beer is good and they had 3 to choose from. You are welcome to bring your own food, too, so feel to make it a picnic as they have quite a few long picnic tables with umbrellas and plenty of grassy space all around. We went on a weeknight and there were about 4 — 5 small groups of people there. I’m guessing they are busier on the weekends when the weather is nice. There’s a nice little path that goes around the pond as well.

It is in the middle of the corporate area by the Sears Center, so a little hard to find, but they have signs, just follow the ones to Village Green. It was perfectly lovely. Not whole lot of options, but just enough to have a light lunch/snack and a great beer. They had pretzels and brats(and hot dogs). I believe 3 of the Hoff Brau Beers on tap. We met with the owner and his wife, super lovely people that genuinely seem to care about this working out and want everyone to have a great experience. There will be live music on Thursday nights at the ampitheather that is just a short walk away. Prices are great. $ 6 for ½ liter and $ 11 for a full. So I say if you itching for some place to drink beer on a beautiful day outside, head over, it is well worth it. I really want to see this couple do well. As of right now they ONLYTAKECASH so make sure you come prepared, they do have an ATM on site though if that is needed.

A Beer Garden has Blossomed in Hoffman Estates. Located at the Village Green, a public park, oon the shores of a pretty little lake — complete with swans… evokes images of Crazy King Ludwig of Bavaria, the Swan King. Of course the beer does the most in making this a true Bavarian Gem. Selections are limited to beer from the Hofbräu Munich Brewery the formerly Royal brewery of Bavarian Kings. Imported from Germany, the offerings include Original– Light Lager, Dunkel– Dark Lager and Hefe Weizen — Unfiltered Wheat Beer, plus seasonal offerings. Beer served at the Beer Garden is served in half– and full-liter heavy glass mugs — there is a $ 5 refundable deposit on each glass. There is also a German Hard Cider and a nice selection of wines. Soft drinks are also available. Food items are limited to bratwurst, hot dogs, and giant-sized fresh-baked pretzels. But picnicers can bring their baskets and non-alcoholic beverages; however, carry-in alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Beware, the sales are cash only. There is an ATM onsite. If you are looking for a great family freindly place to get outdoors and enjoy nature along with a great beer, this is your place!
